I've been coming here for many years. They have been consistently professional while also friendly and informative. There's a discount if you pay with cash/ out of pocket. I like that this isn't a scammy place or that they try to rip you off. I tried going to a few other dentists, but one of them was a scam, and the other was too pricey-- so I came back. Make sure you show up on time & let them know ahead of time if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment. The waiting area/ inside looks dated yet the service is excellent.

I went in for treatment and they told me I'd be sent to another office for what I needed, which is fine however I called them to let them know the other pace was booked out and I was trying to find a solution as I didn't want the problem to get worse. The woman on the phone was rude as I was explaining I was in pain and was trying to just get the antibiotic she kept telling me she couldn't do it and to just take ibuprofen. I called back and spoke to some different and they were able to assist me. Fast forward to last week and I finally l got a hold of a new dentist but I needed another round of antibiotics so I called to get medicine refilled and I was told they would call me back and I never heard back from them...on top of yet another rude conversation.

I highly suggest this office! They are very knowledgeable and take the time to explain procedures, as well as answer any questions. I've never waited more than two weeks for an appointment and they always start on time. The staff is also friendly and kind!

This father and son duo are phenomenal. They're compassionate, knowledgeable, ethical, and professional. Their team of receptionists and hygienists are exceptional and superb, as well. Thank you Sir Surya and Mr Aditya for the heartfelt treatment that I received at your hands. God Bless.

the administration is unprofessional. I called for a cleaning appointment. I came in they did x-rays and stated that I need to remove my wisdom teeth then I can book my cleaning appointment. After I took of my wisdom teeth the told me we can't schedule your appointment because you are a new patient. I was very confused . I have medicaid and at some point the nurse said your insurance is within levels. Then Doctor said she didn't say that. I had three people talking at the same time . Saying that they can't do cleaning because am a new patient although my first call was to do cleaning.

Dr. Surya Dhakar need his license revoked! The x-ray taken prior to my tooth removal is medically unacceptable. Hence, this would explain why the needle was shoved to far into my gums. I give my self needles everyday so I'm use to needles and don't mind them at all! I went to Dr. Surya Dhakar to relieve my pain and received more pain due to his negligence. People please don't let this doctor provide ANY tooth extraction to yourself or your children because he failed to provide a safe and effective procedure to his client. Please find a local oral surgeon in the area to provide your extraction because Dr. Surya Dhakar failed to do no harm!!!

Walked in with the most excruciating pain, walked out feeling like a new person!! The dentist was amazing, the best bedside manners I ever witnessed coming from an actual Dr!!! Sarah, the dental hygienist was so sweet and understanding, with absolutely no judgment! I highly recommend this practice!!

AMAZING!!! Is all I can say. I was so nervous an I don't deal with pain very well. Dr Dhakar pulled my molar out in less than 20 minutes after making sure I was numb and didn't feel any pain. The assistants are amazing as well. I will be coming back for cleaning an any other dental needs. I literally have not been in pain since he removed my tooth. An I only bled for for about 4-5 hours. I'm just grateful to have found Dr Dhakar

Dr Dhakar is by far the most professional, personable, and kind dentist who ensured my root canal went smoothly. Same day emergency service saved me time money and pain! Highly recommended as the staff was so jovial and helpful.

In August 2021 I had a follow-up to an emergency appointment that I had booked. I was a new patient and I am on medicaid. My initial appointment for tooth pain resulted in me having A MULTITUDE of x-rays taken, including the three teeth I were complaining about and a full standing rotoscoping set of X-rays. There was brief (2 min) physical inspection of my teeth and a script was written for an antibiotic "just in case there was an infection" and referral for a specialist was given to me. Mind you, I have a missing filling that had fallen out that could have been scheduled to be replaced or even done during that emergency visit. And an exposed cavity on a receding gum line on the exterior of my tooth that most likely could have been filled and even bonded. Instead the office told me that I would now have to make an appointment to have a regular checkup done. So I did that. On my exam date I had to wait about 20 to 25 minutes to be taken back by the dental assistant. I was then told that I would have a new series of X-rays done all single handed by the tech. The panels for the X-ray plates had been worn so much the color had faded. I questioned them doing more x-rays because of the amount of X-rays done just a couple weeks prior at my emergency visit. The assistant told me that this was standard procedure. As I waited I could hear the dentist across the hallway speaking with a patient about the dentist discovering more fillings and wondering if that patient would like to proceed with having those feelings done. The patient vacillated and then the doctor urged them to make a choice and that they would see if they could do it today if the patient said yes. The patient was eager to have the fillings done and the doctor said okay. This doctor specifically said that they had anticipated a single cavity but had "discovered a couple more." I listened to the discussion going on wall my attendant, the dental assistant, retracted my seat back and began polishing my teeth. This office knew that I had not been back to a dentist for approximately 7 years. It is very clear to see that I have several cavities, I was told by my long time dentist of approximately 20 years in New Jersey that I had three cavities and that was back in 2016! And I suffer from moderate to severe bruxism. And you can see at least three distinct cavities. My dental technician placed my x-rays in front of me, seemed to dawdle for a bit then checked in with the doctor across the hall for a moment and then came back to begin my dental "cleaning" with polishing my teeth. After the polishing the technician walked across the hallway to check in with the doctor again. A few minutes later the doctor who I found out was my own, came from across the hall after settling with the patient that they WOULD continue THEIR dental work, and she greeted me; This was Dr Chary. I believe I met her at my initial emergency appointment, can't really remember bc it was so fruitless, but this impression left me baffled. It was clear that the dental technician was told to handle my "cleaning"- the only thing done was the polishing. When Dr Chary came in she stood by my side and said that "my teeth look great and you've been taking excellent care of them and you only have one cavity" I immediately responded, " I'm sorry you weren't going to clean between my teeth?" She made a joke saying most patients don't want their teeth cleaned then agreed, grabbed a dental pick, and cleaned between the four center bottom teeth (without suction). Dr. Chari once again assured me that my teeth look great and said she would see me soon. She hurried back across the hall and began feeling the cavities of the patient she was already seeing. I was appalled. NO inspection, No glance at my x-rays, NO more than 30 seconds! Of dental tool cleaning. NO checking for any cavities visually or with tools. NO I.D. AS TO WHICH TOOTH HAD THE CAVITY. And when I refused to continue with the appointment and expressed my horror as to my treatment no one said anything otherwise. This was not a cleaning this was a robbery.

I had the most amazing experience with Dr. Dhakar and his staff. I came to them with a dental emergency and they made me feel very comfortable. Dr. Dhakar extracted both of my teeth with no pain. I had no bruising afterwards and did not need pain medication after the first day. If i could give them 10 stars I would!!!!

The dentist was great but the front desk receptionist was the rudest, most unpleasant person I've ever encountered. The people coming in to the office on an emergency basis, are already not feeling great, and to be met with such aggression and coldness, when already in pain, makes the experience that much worse. Not to mention, I am of a certain ethnicity, and was asked three times in three different occasions if I knew the price of extraction- as if I would have come for service I couldn't pay for. With others, she was much more warm. This office needs to hire a new receptionist or whatever she is, because the front desk is a big part of reputation. I'd never go back.

Yesterday, I was a new patient to this dental office. I had not been to the dentist in a while. Scared straight, teeth jacked up. I am keeping real. I got two wisdom teeth removed and one decayed tooth. I have diabetes type 2, sleeping problems and high blood pressure. Omg, I got the best sleep last night. Now that those teeth are gone. This visit has made a difference in my life. I sat in that chair and prayed and I know now that god got me to where I needed to be. I know from removing those bad teeth it has opened up my air way and now know that getting the right denist is everything. Its everything. No, nobody prepped me to write this post. I am doing it on my own cause I feel so much better. God is truly good. If you looking for a good dentist that is the place to be. Pain because of three teeth removed and stitches and all. I have already scheduled my next visit a month from now. Feel so good, I put this review on here at 5:39 am. Everybody that help me was polite, courteous, understanding and very professional and the dental room in the back had a fresh new like smell. Oh and my visit was only 45 minutes, in case you wondering. As Arnold Schwarzenegger would say, " I'll be back. " Thank you, Thank you, Thank you. If you reading this post and your trying to make a choice but you can't get none of those so called friends to response to your text. Go here.

Had to go in on a Saturday for an emergency extraction, now the 2nd time I've used their services. I absolutely WILL be continuing to follow up and use them for further cleanings and what all. It's not a question of WOULD I recommend them, it's a matter of I CANNOT RECOMMEND THEM ENOUGH! Best experience I've ever had in a dental office, without question. I am actually very excited for my next appointment just so I can spend time with the friendly and very knowledgeable staff, as well as the pleasant environment of their office!

This is by far the best dental experience I've had! We recently moved our family to Dr. Dhakar, and we could not be more satisfied. The personnel we absolutely amazing, and the service was awesome; especially from Andrea at the front desk. All staff and personnel made us feel valued, welcomed, and safe! We highly recommend this Dental staff to anyone looking for a new Dentist!
