Dr. Jason Melashenko, or Dr. J to his patients, grew up in California. He received his Bachelor of Science degree at California State San Bernardino and earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry. His greatest dental passion is creating beautiful and functional smiles. He enjoys all aspects of dentistry and considers himself blessed to care for patients and is grateful for the trust they put in him to care for their smiles.

Dr. Melashenko is committed to continuing education and takes many advanced courses each year to enhance his skills to better serve the dental care needs of his patients and provide them with a gentle and comfortable dental experience.

Dr. Stephanie Mashni is originally from Michigan. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from Michigan State University earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry. She is excellent with children in the dental setting. All the kids love her!

Audrey is our Office Manager and everything in between. She has been in the Dental field her whole life, from a family of Dentists its just in her blood. Audrey is from Washington State, After college (Go Cougs!) She moved to soak up the Arizona sun. This girl is on the go all the time.. whether she is traveling somewhere, road tripping with friends, or on her quest to be a Big Brother Contestant. Audrey is married with 2 children, they are truly her greatest joy in life.

Before Michelle moved to Arizona, she was raised in Hawaii where she graduated from the University of Hawaii with a Bachelor in Business administration. Michelle has enjoyed eleven years in Administrative dentistry. During this time she developed a passion for cosmetic dentistry. She finds that helping patients achieve the dream smile they deserve, and the transformation in a patients confidence after a smile makeover, extremely rewarding.

Kathy is celebrating over 30 years in dentistry. She started in 1985 as a dental assistant and immediately knew dentistry would be her lifes passion. Kathy is a fourth-generation Arizona native and has been married to her loving husband for 22 years.

Kathy has had the privilege of representing the state of Arizona in the Vocational Skills Olympics in the field of dentistry. She did this by winning the gold medal at the State Vocational Skills Olympics and went on to win the bronze medal at the Nationals Vocational Skills Olympics.

Kathy graduated with distinction from Phoenix College with her degree in Dental Hygiene in 1991. She is also laser and anesthesia certified. Kathy has dedicated her career to achieving the best in dental health for her patients by staying on the cutting edge of education and technology. Patients always compliment her on her caring touch and personality. Kathy is also the author of Kathys Corner a fun & informative e-mail based newsletter.

Jeanna grew up in Northern AZ on the Navajo Nation. In 2004 she moved to Phoenix to start her schooling for Dental Assisting. She takes a lot of passion in taking care of others creating healthy and beautiful smiles. Outside of the office, She loves spending time with her family, hiking, & baking.

Derri has been in the Medical/Dental field for 29 years. She is originally is from Missouri and ventured to Arizona in 1992. When Derri is not working she is spending time with her sweet granddaughter, or doing an awesome DIY project. Derri is married w/ 3 children who are the light of her life.

Megan is an Arizona native, graduating dental hygiene school from Carrington College in Mesa. She has been in the dental field for 10 years now. She strives to help her patients improve their overall oral health and feel at home when they are in her dental chair. Megan is married and has 2 boys that keep her busy. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, doing Crossfit, and working on home improvement projects. Megan also loves watching Greys Anatomy and Cheering her beloved Denver Broncos.

Brooke is a native Arizonian! She started her Dental Career in Highschool and has since graduated with an Expanded Function Dental Assisting degree. Outside of Dentistry, she enjoys spending time with her daughter and husband. She is an outstanding crafter and loves to wakeboard and snowboard. We are lucky to have such a specialized assistant helping our Doctors.

Amanda was born and raised in Arizona. She has enjoyed over 30 years of Dental Assisting. She loves to travel with her husband and has two grown children. Although Amanda only joins us part of the week, we hope you have an opportunity to work with her and see why we love her so much.

Jennah has worked with us through her early schooling, and after graduating has since joined our team full time. She loves dentistry so much that she is planning to attend Dental Hygiene school. Right now youll find her at our front desk always sporting fun nails and her beautiful smile.

Ashley was born in Arizona, but has moved a lot over her younger years. We are so lucky she decided to call Arizona her home and become part of the Surprise Dental and Denture family. She recently got engaged and is excited to be planning her upcoming wedding. She loves to read, play tennis and bake.

Mikaela has been a dental hygienist since 2016. Originally from the Dakotas, Mikaela has called Arizona home for the past 15 years.Outside of work, Mikaela enjoys spending time with her husband, their one year old son & family dog named Julian.
