I originally owned a general dental office in Utah, and after a few months of running my own dental office, I quickly realized my favorite patients of the day were kids. I immediately sold my dental office, applied for a pediatric residency, and went back to school to focus on the area of dentistry I enjoyed most. Being a kid at heart, pediatric dentistry felt like a great fit for me.
After earning his undergraduate degree from Utah State University, Dr. Bryce received his general dentistry training at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry, graduating with honors. He then completed a pediatric residency at the University of Florida College of Dentistry, which is nationally recognized as one of the top 5 pediatric residencies in the country.
Dr. Bryce comes with 15 years of experience, but his education has never truly stopped. He regularly takes continuing education and stays on top of the latest breakthroughs in dentistry through his memberships in the:
Dr. Bryce spends the majority of his free time with his family attending as many sporting events as possible. He, and his wife Traci, have three children as well as a puppy named Mozzie who is spoiled rotten. Dr. Bryce enjoys the time he spends helping with his church's youth program, hunting, fishing, and golfing.

This is the best pediatric dentistry I've ever been to hands down, the office is beautiful, the staff is very friendly and Dr. Bryce is amazing! I'm so happy I switched from our other dentist, my kids love it too. I feel much more at ease about taking my children in for future dental work because they really work with you and offer you options to make sure you and your kids will be comfortable, I am so relieved to have found this place.

We took our son here for his very first dentist appointment and it was such a great experience! From the kids waiting room with books and puzzles to the their dental assist and Dr. Cushing who were very pleasant. Their dental assistant walked our son through everything to make him more comfortable with everything they needed to do for the appointment. This place is truly amazing! The dentist was so kind and caring. He informed us of every step along the way. My daughter has as a great deal of anxiety and as a result was unable to be treated elsewhere. We were referred to this clinic and it was the best decision ever! She loved this place so much she said she wants to come here for all of her appointments. Also the dentist is bilingual! How cool is that!

The doctor we saw was amazing! The front desk ladies are also very nice. They made my son feel very comfortable despite what he needed done. The only small critique I have is when the nurse (?) asked my son if he ever had a tooth pulled before and he said he didn't know and she said oh you would know if you did! I think that made him feel nervous. The doctor explained everything he was going to do to my son before he did it. I'm definitely going to be coming here from now on!

Dr. Bryce was amazing! Our little one is nearly 8 months and only has 2 teeth, and while there aren't many teeth Dr. Bryce still provided us plenty of knowledge and comfort. We are 1st time parents and are paranoid about the providers who care for our son, but we left the office knowing we are happy to return. Dr. Bryce made sure we were okay with everything and answered all of our questions as we had them. He explained every step of the way for us and we are very happy to have an awesome dentist for our baby! As for the office - at first I was unsure about the theme. But honestly, its so playful and fun. My son loved all the decor and especially loved the little shark he got. The office was also super clean. I am one satisfied momma!

We had our first dental visit today and it went great! Our son was born with a cleft lip and palate and Dr Bryce was very gentle and accommodating since our son has some fears about people going near his mouth. Our son is only 16 months old and has had 5 surgeries on his mouth so to say we were worried about our first dentist visit would be an understatement. Dr Bryce and the whole team made the experience nothing but enjoyable! We are excited to continue to go to Surfs Up Dental and are so happy to have found them! Another plus is the play room! Our son loved the books and puzzles while we were waiting for our appointment (we were early and our appointment started right on time!) They gave us the normal dental things (toothbrush, toothpaste, etc) but they also gave him a certificate for completing his first dentist visit , and a dental health book with our little ones picture on the front! Super cute and love that we have a keepsake to remember this visit by! I could not recommend them more!

I have to highly recommend Surf's Up Pediatric Dentistry in Papillion. Dr. Cushing is amazing! My 11 year old had to go in and get two crowns and two fillings this morning. He was so nervous, but Josie (the hygienist) immediately put him at ease. Throughout the procedure, Dr. Cushing had so many techniques, songs and little procedures to keep my son calm. Every step of the way he explained what was going to happen in a way my son could understand. My son felt no pain and is excited to go back to the office again. I feel like we found a real gem with this dentist!
