As a dentist and also in his personal life, Dr. Smiths goal is to influence people not only to meet but also exceed their potential and expectations. He loves helping patients on their path of wellness. It is especially gratifying to him when patients come to realize their dental health is important to their overall wellness.
Dr. Smith attended the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Lincoln, where he obtained his degree in dentistry. He is trained and certified in Invisalign treatment, and participates annually in continuing education. He is currently a member of both the American Dental Association and Nebraska Dental Association. Dr. Smith enjoys our dental practice because our team has experience in all phases of dentistry. This, plus our ease of patient care and a healthy dose of humor throughout the day, makes for a comfortable work environment.
One of Dr. Smiths greatest blessing is having a family-owned business. He was born in Omaha and has lived in our great state for all his life. When he has free time, Dr. Smith enjoys spending time with friends and family, which includes his four children and eight grandchildren.
Dr. Mark joined our practice in August 2020. He grew up in Beatrice with family members who also studied dentistry! Dr. Mark developed his passion for dentistry by visiting his dads dental practice. He has fond memories of having his dad take care of his dental needs as young as age five. Dr. Mark is very passionate about painless dentistry. He loves to restore patients to great oral health and get to know them on a personal level.
Dr. Mark attended the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry. He has been practicing for more than 30 years. He likes to attend continuing education courses, especially ones that involve learning about surgery and endodontics. Dr. Mark has served on the Nebraska Dental Association board of trustees and in the House of Delegates.
Dr. Mark has three sons Adam, Jared, and Ryan and one granddaughter, Cheyenne. In his free time, you can find him hunting, fishing, training dogs, or singing barbershop music. We are very excited to have Dr. Mark on our team here at Superior Dental Health.
Dr. Stephanie Lake is a general dentist with ten years of experience in private practice and public health settings. Here at Superior Dental Health, she collaborates with patients to achieve and maintain optimum oral health. Her ultimate goal is to help patients feel comfortable when they go to the dentist and leave the office with a big, healthy smile. Dr. Lake believes that our offices are made up of truly exceptional people that believe in giving patients the best treatment possible, treating both our patients and each other with respect.
Dr. Lakes husband is a nurse manager, and together they have three children: two girls and a boy. Dr. Lake enjoys spending her free time with family and playing the piano. She also enjoys volunteering for community events through the Omaha District Dental Society.

The staff were great very helpful and patient. They even got me in on short notice due to horrible toothache I was experiencing. Dentist explained everything very well.

I had a great visit. I honestly used to Dread going to the dentist. Cleanings were painful and the atmosphere was condescending from the dentist. If I didn't floss enough or the right way or whatever they would say I was doing wrong. Here, the focus is on the positive. My hygienist was considerate and caring. Great visit!

This place is great. The staff was very friendly. From the front desk, to the doctors. Everyone I met there was very friendly. They even told me some things to help me save some money. I wish I had found this place earlier.

Have you been searching for a top dental group? One with great dental personnel who really care about their patients? I was one of those people. And I found it! I would like to add that Dr. Pinkerton is a very gentle soul. His work is wonderful. I have been to other dental clinics and this one is TOPS!

Dr. Ben and his team have been more than accommodating with my schedule. Very professional and explain things well. Taking my comfort into consideration they do great work. The ladies up front are friendly and welcoming and do a great job of explaining benefits and handling all insurance and out of pocket transactions.
