I am a General Dentist who works exclusively with Kids and Teensin Harrison since2013. I love the artistic challenge dentistry brings. I have always known that I wanted to help people, and I believe I do that by changing one smileat a time.
Kids have so much imagination and fire! They can make fun out of anything, and I believe we all could learn a thing or two from that mentality. Seeing these kids learning and enjoying to learn is the best part of my job.
Of course, I could not deliver the quality of care my patients deserve without my team. At Super Smiles, we believe in the power of teamwork two people together can accomplish more than two people alone. We here are the definition of a team;everyone is always right there willing to help in any way they can!
I have been married to my beautiful wife Heather for more than a dozen years. Together, we have two amazing children:Chance, wholoves to build and create new things, andHadley, wholoves to sing and make new friends. Family is and will always be my first priority.
My family and I moved to the Ozarks for the beautiful lakes and the outdoors. We spend a lot of time traveling and are always up for new adventures. I am also a licensed pilot, and enjoy taking my family to places we have never seen.
When we are not traveling, you can find us wakeboarding on the lake or kayaking on the river. I also enjoy hiking and woodworking; in fact, I built many of the props in our new office, along with having designedthe building! My motto is to live intentionally, and live every day to the fullest.
It is so humbling to give back to the communities that support me and my business daily. I participate in the Arkansas Dental Mission of Mercy annually, and give my time every quarter to help at the Harrison Free Rotary Clinic. I also donate to Toys for Tots and the local Boys and Girls Club.
Here at Super Smiles, we believe in the power of teamwork. We believe that two people together can accomplish more than two people alone. We strive to make dentistry fun and enjoyable, and we want every child to have the best experience possible. Every single team member here has the same goal, and that is to take care of the children and make sure they are happy and comfortable.
As a family, we enjoy spending time at the lake, riding side-by-sides, and many other outdoor activities. I love sports, especially basketball, and I coached pee wee and travel ball for many years.During my spare time, I enjoy spending time with friends and family and assisting youth in showing livestock at local, state, and national levels.
I have been an office manager for 15 years in the medical field and through my work, I have had the opportunity to travel throughout the United States.I strongly encourage an open-door policy with my employees.I strive to be an approachable and understanding leader. It is important to me that my employees feel appreciated and validated, while still holding high expectations for my team and myself because I know what we are capable of.My team's achievements reflect my success as a leader.
At Super Smiles, weve designed our Harrisondental office to be something extraordinary! We have a giant purple octopus on the roof of our building to welcome all patients to our office. When you first walk into our office, you will instantly be mesmerized by all the activities for the kids. Youll walk into an aquatic-themed room with a roping jungle gym, a salt-water fish tank, and a pirate ship hanging from the ceiling!
When your child is brought back, he or sheisgreeted with a welcoming smile, and shown around. After your little one is comfortable, we explain the content of the visit and make sure the youngsterunderstands what exactly we will be doing during thecoming minutes. We find that informing our patients goes a long way towardreducing the fear of the unknown.
A small flat-screen TV is placed above each dental chair with a pair of headphones for each child to enjoy while getting thework done or waiting for thedental checkup. There are also flat screens in our X-ray and consult rooms.
In addition to making the visual aspect of our office incredible, our goal is also to provide the best patient care possible. It is very important to us to meet the needs and desires of our patients. We put their needs above our own and do everything in our power to help them.
Each team member tries so hard to make every single patient feel special and heard. Every child who walks in our door means something to us, and because ofthe way we treat them, they know we are genuinely here to help them.
