Located on the Upper West Side of New York, our dental team treats children of all ages, and we customize each visit to your childs unique needs and personality. We deliver high quality care in an environment that is friendly, fun, and informative.
Dr. Marcelle believes that dentistry should be a warm, friendly and fun experience for children and their parents. She takes the time to get to know each child and their family so she can deliver the individualized care they deserve. Prevention and education are her focus and she is determined to help every child have a positive experience with dentistry, which can lay the foundation for a lifetimeof happy and healthy smiles!
Originally from Brooklyn, New York, Dr. Marcelle attended CUNY Hunter College where she graduated as the Valedictorian of her class with a degree in Biology. She then received the Deans Merit Scholarship to attend the University of Pennsylvania for Dental School and earned her Doctorate of Dental Medicine. After graduation, Dr. Marcelle completed a general practice residency at Helen Hayes Hospital where she gained experience caring for individuals with medical complexities and special needs. Returning to New York City, Dr. Marcelle completed her Pediatric Dental Residency at Columbia University-New York Presbyterian Hospital.
Dr. Marcelle is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, and an active member of both the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the American Dental Association. Her commitment to continuing educations means that she is constantly evaluating emerging dental research in order to provide the best care for her patients.

Our 4yo was pretty scared, but Dr. Marcelle was extremely patient and innovative in her approach, allowing me as a parent to play a role in making our little one more comfortable and by the time we left she said she actually had FUN at the dentist. This has to be the best pediatric dental office out there! They are amazing!!! They are incredible with children, our son is extremely scared of going to the dentist but from the second we walked through the door they made us feel comfortable and he even asked to go back the second we left. We can't thank you enough it is not easy to find a place that has such a wonderful morale! We will not stop singing your praises. Thank you! God bless you for everything you do!

Love the experience. Took my soon too be 2 year old for her 1st visit. From the 1st phone call I made I received nothing but professionalism. Letting me know what my insurance covered to getting paperwork in a timely matter. Love the fact that the doctor sat with us and didn't rush us and asked questions. I also enjoyed not having a full waiting room of people. Would highly recommend this office!

I could not be more thrilled with how wonderful my 4 year old's first visit to Dr. Marcelle was! My daughter had a very bad introduction to a different dentist a year ago and we were seriously nervous to try again. Everything was so smooth and cheerful and now my daughter loves the dentist!

Absolutely great experience for my two daughters' first checkup in awhile, and I'm so glad we found this practice! The office is immaculate and really nicely designed, everyone working is efficient and friendly, and there was no wait to be seen the day of our visit. As soon as we got outside, one of my daughters yelled, "Best dentist ever!" They both actually wanted to brush their teeth twice when we got home and keep asking why they have to wait so long until their next visit.

Terrific pediatric dentist on the UWS! The entire team from the front office to assistant to dentist just do an amazing job making my queasy toddler comfortable and getting his teeth squeaky clean. You can tell that the people here not only like working with kids, but also with each other. You won't regret bringing your little one here!

I loved this place! Dr Marcelle and her team made this the perfect first experience for my 2-year old. Great facility that pulled out all the stops to make a child feel excited and happy to be going to the dentist. I am hopeful that we've now set the stage for more positive experiences going forward. Can't recommend it enough. (They also made scheduling and insurance extremely easy, another major win!)

Absolutely great experience. Everyone, from the front desk, doctor assistant and the doctor herself, is highly professional and wonderful. The doctor takes her time to listen to our questions and explain. The office is clean and thoughtfully designed. What a gem in the neighborhood.

First time for our 5 years old daughter since we moved in the neighborhood. We went back home after the visit and our daughter said:"I want to go back there forever". Best compliment I can give. The staff was great. The visit was a stress free. Our Family dentist from now on.

Dr. Marcelle has a phenomenal way with kids making them feel so comfortable they forget they're at the dentist. She couples this skill with an impressive expertise that made this experience pleasant beyond all expectations. I can't recommend her highly enough. She was patient, kind and extremely helpful in dispensing advice about tooth care that I took to heart. What a pro.

I took my one year old son for his first checkup and cleaning and assumed he would cry his way through the whole visit. Instead, the office staff and Dr. Meer made him feel at ease and not a single tear was shed. Thank you for making his first dentist visit (and subsequent ones as long as we are in the area!) easy and even fun.
