Dr. Dogra is an experienced dentist who earned her Doctoral of Dental Studies (DDS) from the prestigious University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) in 2010. She has been practicing in the Bay Area (San Francisco, San Jose, Fremont, Newark, San Ramon and Pleasanton). Over the course of her career, Dr. Dogra has treated thousands of patients. She is known to provide superior quality care with a gentle touch providing a painless experience to all her patients.
She is a very good listener, pays attention to details and is termed a perfectionist by her patients and team members. She is well regarded for her patients first philosophy. She believes in building long-term relationships with her patients by treating every one of them like family. Her patients are drawn to her efficient, friendly, encouraging approach and gentle care. Outside of dentistry, she enjoys yoga, meditation, her husbands cooking, reading, traveling, and spending time with her family.
Carina received her Registered Dental Assisting education from Carrington College of California in 2011. Through the years she has had great opportunities to expand her knowledge in different aspects of the dental field such as Orthodontics, Endodontics and Cosmetics. Carinas compassionate personality helps patients feel relaxed and comfortable while getting their dental treatment. She enjoys educating them on their dental needs and seeing the smile on their face when they leave our office. She stays up to date in new techniques each year by taking continuing education courses. Carina is bilingual and has been a great addition to helping our Spanish-speaking patients. Carina enjoys spending time with her family and being outdoors on her time off.

I was experiencing terrible tooth ache from a root canal I needed to get done asap for a couple of days. I had gone to two different places before sunshine and I was not able to get anything done because of the lack of insurance and money. Fortunately, I found sunshine dentistry on Saturday morning, they took me in right away and proceeded to schedule me for 2pm that day. They are such a great staff I recommend this place to anyone who has a fear of the dentist they even offer you a stress ball if you need something to hold on too while they work on you. Definitely will continue treatment with this facility.

CARING, REASSURING AND VERY TALENTED! I will start my review by stating I hadn't been to a dentist in years and had a lot of tooth decay. This created a ton of anxiety and embarrassment for me and made me fearful to hear a diagnosis. I finally decided to see a dentist. I picked Dr Dogra based on reviews and proximity to my house. After explaining my anxiety over the phone, I visited her that day. Both Dr Dogra and her assistant were very kind and reassuring. They told me I had nothing to fear and that they could fix anything. 2 Days later they went to work and completely repaired the left side of mouth in 2hrs. Throughout the process they made me very comfortable and truly seemed to care about how I felt. I go later next month for more work. I HIGHLY suggest this KIND and SKILLED dental office. My wife started a new job recently and is hoping Dr Dogra is available within her plan. Thank you Sunshine!

Really happy, most gentle dentist ever! Dr. Dogra is genuinely caring with excellent chair side manners. I was visiting friends in Pleasanton when I needed some urgent dental care and they recommended her. I explained my situation over the phone and her office was very accommodating. After the visit I was very impressed with the ease with which Dr. Dogra fixed my dental issue. I was very anxious but she was so gentle and efficient. I now plan to visit Sunshine Family Dental for routine follow ups which means I will go see my friends more often :).

My experience with Sunshine Family Dental has been a great experience! This is a very honest and professional place to take care of all my family and my dental needs.Dr.Shruti Dongra is highly skilled and invariably concerned with the patients comfort and has great precision with her work. The equipment and the materials used are modern and best in class. The front desk is friendly and extremely welcoming to work around our work schedules. I recently got my procedure done by Dr. Dogra and it was great. I was given expensive treatment options at other offices but these guys not just saved my teeth, they saved me from heavy $$$ bills. When I saw my before and after pics, I was totally amazed by the transformation. They had made it so easy and cost effective. Loving my smile more than before. Now taking my entire family there. Totally recommend them .

Dr Dogra is an excellent doctor. I took my mom to her. She quickly setup an appointment. My mom got her crowns repaired and got some fillings. Dr Dogra is very soft spoken. The quality of the work is excellent and has been no problems since. Due to good experience, now my wife and I also changed our dentist to Dr Dogra!

Any given day, I would recommend Dr Shrutee and Sunshine Family Dental. Both Dr Shrutee and her assistant Kareena are awesome and amazing. My wife and I got our procedure done by Dr Shrutee. It was great, hassle free and they treated us like family. Dr Shrutee being a thorough professional although having discussed all the precautions that we needed to take, she also called us later that evening to check on how we were doing. Would recommend her to anyone who needs a good professional Dentist.

Great experience ! Went to Dr Dogra for a tooth extraction and entire treatment took just a few hours! I hardly realized my tooth was out ! Post extractions care was precise and clear. Also the entire treatment plan was discussed and explained clearly! Overall I highly recommend !
