Dr. Degnen is originally from Lake Bomoseen, Vermont. As a high school student, she worked as a dental assistant for a family friend during her summers. Originally thinking she would become a dental hygienist, with encouragement from her parents and Dr. Hayden she decided instead to pursue a career as a dentist. She graduated from the University of Vermont in 1983 with a Bachelors of Science in Biology and afterwards was accepted into the dental program at Washington Universitys School of Dentistry in St. Louis.
Dr. Degnens primary focus is to provide the highest level of care, understanding, education, and comfort for patients of all ages. Whether 6 years old or 96 years old, youll find the quality and service provided by Dr. Degnen and her staff to be exceptional.

Lori is our newest hygienist. Shes been providing excellent hygiene for over 33 years. Lori joined Dr. Degnen 4 years ago taking over for Jean who retired from our office after providing our patients with 23 years of care.
As our newest team member with 8 years of dental experience, Shelly is on her way to successfully filling the shoes of Linda who retired after 29 years of service to Dr. Degnen. When you call, Shelly will take great care of you, provide answers to any questions, and get you scheduled at a time thats convenient.
Barney is Dr. Degnens husband of more than 30 years. He has worked with her at Sunset Tower Family Dentistry for the past 18 years.
