I have been going to Sunset Dental since residing in L.A. 8 years ago. I highly recommended this office to anyone looking for excellent dental care. I personally have friends and my husband going to this office. Dr. Poneh and the entire staff at Sunset Dental are incredibly professional, warm, informative and accommodating.

Charged me $550.20 up front not even on the day of my root canal and then the day of wanted me to sign forms with amounts that were blank, not just for the root canal, but for medicine too. You wouldn't sign a blank check, so why would I sign forms that were not already filled out. Very suspicious, so I asked for a refund.

Went specifically to get loose implants repaired after calling and enquiring if they could help. After being x-rayed and a dentist poking around and loosening the implants even more I was told that the person that deals with them is only in once a month so left in a worse situation than when I went in. Do not recommend

Literally... wow. This office is horrofic. First off, this is my second time taking time out of my day to come to the office for a cleaning because the first time i showed up and they randomly changed my appointment time an hour later without telling me. After they confirmed it. My cleaning today lasted 10 minutes. My teeth do not feel any cleaner whatsoever. She scraped my teeth for 10 seconds, there is still tons of plaque and she barely polished them. I am going somewhere else to get an actual dental cleaning. I've also never been into a dentist's office for a check up and DID NOT SEE AN ACTUAL DENTIST AND HAD NO X-RAYS DONE?! HOW DO THEY KNOW IF I HAVE NEW CAVITIES OR TEETH TO WATCH?! I have literally never been to a dentist and they didn't take x-rays to look at the bone and new teeth to put on watch.This is completely and utterly fraudulent. Where are the dentists? I saw a cleaning hygienist for 10 minutes. I didn't see A SINGLE DENTIST! And as for this $300 "whitening" they gave me- my teeth are exactly the same color. Literally not one single shade lighter. I just wasted another 30 minutes sitting there in pain. GET IT TOGETHER THIS IS ALL FRAUD!

This is the worst dental office I have ever been to. Extremely unprofessional and made me pay out of pocket, despite being covered by insurance. Do not go here.

Went in for a cleaning and first time patient xrays. Cleaning was great but the amount of up-sell and pressure was heavy handed. I get it. Everyone should get a deep cleaning but asking me if I wanted to negotiate my co-pay was tacky and then having me sign a waiver to prove i declined it was overkill. The clinic is dated and needs its own deep cleaning.

The ladies up front are super nice and accommodating. The dentists are friendly and very knowledgeable. They're very gentle and work well as an entire team. I would and will recommend them to everyone in the area.

I got a great cleaning from Tanaz at this office yesterday. I have braces at the moment so it's a challenge to keep them clean and stain-free. She did a fantastic job and I'm very pleased, will be requesting her specifically for all of my future cleanings. Not sure I've ever received such a thorough cleaning!

These guys are great! This was my first visit and EVERYONE was helpful and kind during an experience that usually makes me anxious..they kept it cool and relaxing. Very happy with my new Dentist office. Flat screen TV to keep you distracted wasn't bad either!!
