Doctor Frances Sunseri is a native Oregonian who has spent many years serving Portlands dental needs. She received a dental hygiene degree from Mount Hood Community College In 1977 and enjoyed dentistry so much that she eventually applied for dental school receiving her doctorate from Oregon Health Sciences University in 1988.
Doctor Sunseri strives to make your visit both relaxing and enjoyable, providing a gentle personalized touch in a boutique-style location that is quite different than the usual large dental clinic. She dedicates a large number of hours to advanced education. In fact, she is a recognized Master in the Academy of General Dentistry, an honor earned by fewer than 2% of all dentists.
Susan has worked with Dr. Sunseri since 1993. She graduated from Portland Community College with a dental assisting associates degree with high honors in 1993. What she enjoys most about her job is working with a great team and having wonderful, loyal patients. Patients always receive comfort, care, friendly environment and top notch dentistry at Sunseri Dental.
Susan raised her two wonderful sons in Canby for the past 20 years and just recently moved to Gladstone with her husband Paul. Susan also enjoys golfing, cycling, skiing, gardening and being with family.
Viengchith Christopher joined our team in 2006. She has been a member of the Portland community since the 1980s. She received a BS in Dental Hygiene. When Vee is not in the office treating patients she enjoys wine tasting, vacationing with her family, gardening and cooking at her home.
When asked what she loved about her job Vee said, I enjoy the patients I get to meet. Being able to be a part of their lives, such as, sharing moments about their children, grandchildren, adventures and listening to advice about life. Knowing my patients on a personal level helps me take care of their overall oral health.
She is a native Oregonian who grew up in St Helens, Oregon. When she is not in the dental office helping patients achieve their best smile she enjoys hiking, painting and spending time with her lovely husband and baby boy.

I love my dental hygienist! She's great. Everyone in the office is so friendly that I actually like going to the dentist. And I met Dr. Schofield and he seems really nice too.

Wonderful and welcoming office staff and initial visit with dentist, Brian Schofield, and hygienist, Chris Brooks! Highly recommended practice and was provided a very thorough treatment plan and on the calendar for follow up.

The front office staff are polite, friendly, and professional and appointments start on time, but the best part about Sunseri Dental is Vi the dental hygienist. She is just delightful--friendly, polite, professional, gentle as a butterfly, and yet thorough! I have had many cleanings in my life, at several different clinics, and by many different hygienists and Vi is the absolute best hygienist of all and Sunseri is the best clinic of all! The clinic is clean, sanitary, and organized and all of the staff are personable/professional. I can't say enough good things about the clinic or the staff. You should go there!

The Hygienists are always kind and gentle and Dr. Sunseri is extremely professional, competent, and exudes the kind of confidence that makes you feel you are in good hands. The reception staff seem to know everybody by name and make sure you are taken care of both on arrival and when leaving. I highly recommend this Dental Team.

I've been going to Dr. Sunseri and Vee since 2014 and couldn't be happier with my experience here. The staff are friendly and professional, Vee and Dr. Sunseri are wonderful at their jobs, and the facility is neatly kept but still inviting. The fish tank in the lobby is pretty sweet too!

Don't waste your time trying to find a cheap dentist. Dr Sunseri's ofc is top notch. Gee is an excellent hygienist. Gentle, yet through! I tried to switch once to save, didn't work. Sunseri is the best. Front office, throughout the office. Skilled, accommodating and warm staff. You won't be sorry.

In and out and pain free!!! Why can't the other dentist do the same thing! Just had an old implant fixed and it was fixed in no time. I've been a customer for about 14 years or so and never had a problem. Best place to get cosmetic dentistry! Thanks Sunseri Dental update January 20, 2022. Had an existing problem and I was hard headed to not get it fixed like they recommended so I had an emergency and they just took me in and I was out in less then 2 hours and was fine and brand new again...!!! Thanks again!

Dr Sunseri is wonderful, she has been seeing our whole family for years and has a lovely practice with great staff and customer service. When I had a recent accident and damaged 3 teeth severely in a fall, her prompt and careful treatment saved the teeth according to the specialist I saw the following week. I will be forever grateful for her compassionate, gentle work that day.
