5 members of my family, including me, have had work done by Dr. Hensel. Now, first off, as people; I like Hensel and his staff. Very nice. As a dentist, he is a hack and is dangerous. Within 5 years all of our crowns failed for all 5 family members after being told "these teeth will outlast you". He uses a technique dentists stopped using 15 years ago, leaving the tooth so thin it has no structure. Also slipped and drilled a piece off of the wrong tooth! Didn't fix it! Collecting all testimonies for a collective lawsuit. Email me.

This office is filled with people who made me feel comfortable and not judged. I didn't understand the importance good dental hygiene until I was in my mid-20s and, as a result, nearly every one of my teeth has fillings. Rather than distrusting that I was continuing this pattern of poor oral care, the hygienist and dentist let me share my story and took time to explain that, despite the damage that had been done already, it was clear from the current state of my mouth that I'm now doing all the right things. They built me up about something that is a self-esteem nightmare. In an area with a lot of poverty and illness, spending just that extra moment with patients to help educate and reinforce is important, hard to find, and a genuine gem. I recommend this office to anyone looking for dental care.

Dr. Hensel and his staff are extremely nice and actually care about people and their smiles. Pleasant environment, fast work and great results. I am definitely going back for dental care, even though I do have medicaid.

Can't speak for the doctor but I had to call three times to make a standard cleaning appointment as a new patient. The receptionist said twice she couldn't find me on my own insurance.. Had to call my rep to call her to walk her through how to type it in to her computer. After all that I went to my appt only for her to lie and say I was late to my appt and couldn't be seen for another three weeks. shes either not good at her job or intentionally set me up.

I'm pretty sure the receptionist doesn't know what she's doing based on my experience and other reviews.

Fast friendly wouldn't see why not to make him your dentist very prompt:)
