Dr. Crespi graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology. She attended Rutgers School of Dental Medicine, where she earned her DMD degree in 2009, graduating with high honors and placing third in her graduating class. Dr. Crespi was inducted into the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society based upon scholarship and character in the dental profession. Dr. Crespi went on to complete her residency at Stony Brook University in Long Island, NY, and is board certified.
An important part of Dr. Crespis training is her extensive hospital experience in anesthesia and emergency care. Her training includes working with special needs patients and medically compromised children. Dr. Crespi practices specific behavior management and calming techniques in her personalized approach when treating patients. This ensures that patients will have a positive pediatric dental experience.
Dr. Crespis selection of pediatric dentistry as her specialty came naturally. Her father and mentor is the noted pediatric dentist, Dr. Paul Crespi, who is the Program Director for Pediatric Dentistry at Cohen Childrens Medical Center of New York. Her mother, a teacher, inspired her to work with children.
Dr. Crespi loves spending time with her young son and dog, Peaches. She loves to travel and enjoys skiing in the mountains as well as staying active by practicing yoga & meditation. She also enjoys cooking and trying out new recipes on the weekends.
Dr. Crespi is very involved in giving back to the community and participates regularly in Give Kid's a Smile Day,as well as donating to Operation Smile and the Healthy Smiles Healthy Children program.
Dr. Roz was born and raised in Boston, Massachusetts. She completed her Bachelor of Science at the University of Massachusetts-Amherst Commonwealth Honors College where she was the founder and president of the pre-dental society. She continued to obtain her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the prestigious University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine and was actively involved in community outreach programs focused on preventive dental care for children. Dr. Roz completed her first co-author publication as a dental student while working with medically complex patients in the undergraduate clinics. In order to acquire a strong foundation as a dental professional, she completed a general practice residency at the NYU Lutheran Medical Center in Brooklyn New York. Through her training in a busy level-1 trauma center, she solidified her interest in hospital dentistry as well as her passion for pediatrics. Dr. Roz was given the opportunity to complete an additional two- year residency for advanced education in pediatric dentistry with NYU Lutheran Medical Center and Suncoast Community Health Centers in Tampa Florida. Dr. Roz has worked in multiple hospitals and community health centers providing specialized pediatric dental care. She strongly believes that being cognasant of one's own health starts from a young age with oral health being an important predictor of future systemic health. Dr. Roz loves seeing her patients grow and enjoy coming to the dentist.
Dr. Roz loves spending time with family, staying active and getting to know different cultures through food, theatre and travel. She is excited to be moving back to the cold weather, and to explore the beautiful landscape of Colorado.
Dr. Roz is very involved in philanthropy and making sure all children receive the care they need. She is looking forward to contributing to project 143. This incredible charity connects host families in Denver with orphans in Ukraine. During the summer months and at holiday time the orphanages in Ukraine are closed and the children have nowhere else to go. Dr. Roz and Sunrise take care of their dental work free of charge when they come to stay in Colorado. Dr. Roz speaks fluent Russian and is excited to help such a deserving cause.
