I attended the National Autonomous University in Mexico City for my Doctorate of Dental Surgery and hold two degrees in orthodontics, one from Mexico, the other a Specialty in Orthodontics from Howard Universitys Postgraduate Program, in Washington, D.C. Her degree is recognized by the American Board of Orthodontics with successful completion of Phase I on the American Board of Orthodontics. Every year I complete many hours of continuing education. In addition to attending numerous lectures, seminars, and conferences, I participate in the Damon and Insignia Forums, am part of the Spears Study Group, and the Northern Virginia Orthodontic Study Club. With the constant changes in orthodontic and dentofacial orthopedic treatments and technologies, its essential I remain current. During the month of March, we transformed our Dental Practice into a fully functional Art Gallery where we showcased works from Lake Annes Elementary GRACE art program in an effort to promote the visual arts here in Reston.
Sunrise Orthodontics supports Girls on the Run of Northern Virginia as they work to help local girls develop the confidence and character they need to become strong, healthy women. Girls on the Run offers a unique, curriculum-based program that creatively integrates running. The program is delivered over a 10-week season by trained volunteer coaches who serve as informal mentors. Girls on the Run is focused on inspiring girls in 3rd to 8th-grade girls to make healthy choices now, and for the rest of their lives. More than 4,500 girls participate in local Girls on the Run programming each year.
As you know, the Show What You Know Expo is a voluntary school and PTA-sponsored event, open to all Lake Anne students. This event allows students to showcase their learning and knowledge in a particular subject and share it with other students and their families. The events primary objective is for the students to have fun learning and sharing their knowledge with others. And of course, to feel a sense of pride in a job well done! Each student who participates receives an event t-shirt and a certificate of participation.
Last year, 110 of our 644 Lake Anne students participatednearly 20%!and this year were aiming for even more! Your sponsorship will help cover the cost of the event t-shirts for each participating student. The t-shirts are always a big hit with the kidsyouve probably seen them being worn around town, and were looking at a new design this year!

Due to a medical complication I was unable to start treatment. They kept my $750 deposit. No work was performed at all. The contract was for 12 months of orthodontics. No orthodontics were done at all. Not even planned or prepared. One x-ray that was put through medical insurance does not count as services delivered and it certainly does not fulfill the ORTHODONTICS contract. Additionally it says deposit right on the bill.

I scheduled a consultation appointment and I was never told upfront about the consultation fee. Once I arrived the day of the consultation I asked again about if there were any fees for the consultation. One of the so called doctors told me she wasn't sure and that she will get back. In the mean time I was already being seen by the other doctor. It all was so orchestrated to look like they were glad to see me and let me know about the options for treatment. They talking about how great they were and how important was to proceed with the treatment. Once the consultation was over they said that I owed them $250.00 for the information they had provided me. When I tried to explained that I didn't agreed to the charge because I had before the consultation started, their excuse was that that person didn't know. They forced me to pay for telling me that I needed the treatment but that was something I already knew. They just took advantage of my needs. Tricky, dishonest, money hungry, insensitive I will not recommend this people, they are so money driven they shouldn't be in business!
