Dr. Conlisk was born and raised in northwest Columbus, Ohio. He attended St. Charles Preparatory for high school where he participated in playing football and as a member of the wrestling team. Dr. Conlisk then attended John Carroll University where he was a member of the football team for three years. He majored in Biology and minored in Philosophy. Upon completion of college, Dr. Conlisk attended The Ohio State University taking classes in continuing education as well as working in construction. He then attended the University Of Detroit Mercy School Of Dentistry and graduated with a DDS in 2010. Following completion of dental school, Dr. Conlisk was accepted into residency for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at St. John Providence in Detroit, MI. During residency, Dr. Conlisk completed his medical degree at the Wayne State University School of Medicine in 2014. Upon completing residency in 2016, Dr. Conlisk moved back to Columbus to be close with his family. He enjoys spending time with his 3 year-old niece Clare, his sister, Katie and brother-in-law who is a successful general dentist in the Columbus area. Dr. Conlisk also loves golfing with his father and shopping with his mother.

I had to have all my teeth surgically removed. The doctor and staff made me feel so comfortable, answered any and all questions I may have had and were just super nice in general! I normally have bad dental anxiety to the point of braking down and crying or just canceling my appointment. I was so comfortable with the doctor and staff none of that happened! I highly recommend them if you need any extractions done!

We had a great experience at Sunrise. They took excellent care of my daughter and her wisdom teeth extraction was fast and easy and she had a fast recovery. I would highly recommend Sunrise!

Great place it was so professional and everyone in there was so nice. The doctors really knew what he was doing for being so young I was in there for all four of my wisdom teeth and it only took him about 30 min. All I can say is he did a marvelous job and I'm glad I didn't pick anywhere else.

Shout out Dr. Conlisk III. !!! Since March I have been suffering oral complications following tooth extractions. There was a root tip left as well as two holes into my sinuses. I just got home and was told that The oral surgeon said I was being superman and they had to keep giving me more Anesthesia until I passed out. Lol amd that demonstrated that he really cares about his patients amd going above and beyond not just is his work but in everything he does.. I just had my surgery (it was a couple months to wait, but I am so glad i gave Sunrise Oral a chance. So far has been a very pleasant experience, and I am so happy that my holes are closed up everything is smooth down so once my gums are back healed and healthy will be nice. So I would really like to give a shout out to Snrise Oral and Maxillofacial for doing such an amazing job and for going beyond fixing the problem that brought me in and doing some prevention work to stop a future issue from even developing... I REALLY recommend Sunrise Oral and Maxillofacial to anyone who may need oral surgery.

When I called to schedule an appointment, after my dentist referred me here, the woman was generally short and rude with me without cause. After finally getting my appointment scheduled I had questions the day before my appointment and called and once again the woman was very short and rude with me for no reason. Then the DAY OF MY APPOINTMENT I was called and told my insurance was not accepted and everything would have to be out of pocket. At this time the tooth I need extracted was infected again. The same rude woman told me that it was MY fault that I should have known that my insurance wasn't accepted because when scheduling the appointments she always tells people about the insurance. She gave me the option to come in for the consult anyway and pay out of pocket when I have perfectly good dental insurance. I never stepped foot in this office and had a completely horrible experience. I had this appointment scheduled for 3 weeks and noone ever thought to check my insurance before the actual day of the appointment.

Dr. Conlisk and his team are the best! When my dentist referred me to this practice, I was concerned because I had not heard of them. I have received amazing care, and I'm actually looking forward to my next check up. I have had a horrible fear of dentists for my entire life. I needed to have all of my teeth removed and was terrified. Everyone was incredibly kind and patient with me. From Jennifer - that reassuring voice on the phone and at the desk, to the assistants, Maddy and Chelsea, to the doctor himself. They were all compassionate and truly wanted the best for me. My surgical experience was as good as it could possibly be. I have a lot of healing to do, but I am so glad that Dr. Conlisk and his team are caring for me.

This place is so amazing! i have VERY BAD ANXIETY when it comes to the dentist, the staff did an amazing job at making me feel calm before my surgery. Dr. Conslick is a great doctor and person! After my surgery he called to make sure I was doing ok, and even a week later I had a question so I texted him and he replied instantly! I HIGHLY recommend this place if you need dental work done but would prefer to be put to sleep while they do it! I will be going back to get the rest of my teeth issues fixed because they really make you feel comfortable and make sure to explain every detail of your procedure and possible issues that you may face during the procedure!!!
