Dr. Chau Do graduated from Nova Southeastern University School of Dental Medicine in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida in May of 2001. After graduation, she joined the US Navy, and was stationed at Norfolk, VA and Pearl Harbor, HI. In the Navy, she attained advanced training in the fields of Oral Surgery and Endodontic, performing extensive wisdom teeth extractions and root canals.
In 2004, Dr. Do was awarded the prestigious Commanding Officer Award for Clinical Excellence. Recently in June 2010 Dr. Do completed an Oral Sedation Course. Now she is able to provide anxious/fearful patients with a more pleasant dental experience.
Dr. Julia Chang strives to improve her patients overall oral health in a comfortable painless environment. She takes great steps to ensure her patients are treated in a gentle manner. Dr. Change believes in the importance of preventive dental care and is committed to educating her patients and giving them lots of treatment choices.
Dr. Chang has lived in various cities throughout the Untied States and Canada. Shas finally settled down here in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. She Graduated from University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry in 2003, and has completed general practice residency in California. She enjoys community dental outreach to the homeless and the veterans, one of her most memorable volunteer experiences was her dental mission to Kenya, Africa.
Dr. Patel began her career at the Medical College of Georgia where she graduated at the top of her class. Her passion for dentistry and sense of duty led her to the United States Air Force where she completed the prestigious Advanced Education in General Dentistry Program.
After spending several years at McChord Air Force base, Dr. Patel and her husband fell in love with our beautiful city and decided to raise their family here. She loves seeing patients of all ages and is excited to meet each and every one.

They scheduled me on the wrong day, then completely refused to acknowledge their mistake despite my appointment confirmation. Front desk staff was rather rude and unwelcoming. I felt like I was a bother to them. Really negative energy in there. Was recommended by a friend, but will not come back here again.

I've been coming to Sunrise Dental in Federal Way for years now the staff has always been fantastic. The office is in a beautiful building complex, and they keep it clean. Doctor Do, Tammy, Megan, and Nuon takes care of my dental work every year. If you need good dental work, this is the place. Thanks for reading this review. When I first called to schedule an appointment I spoke with Megan she was very welcoming and informative. As I paid for services to be done on my fiance I was made to wait outside they would not give me a mask I left mine at home and they charge for them I asked if they could give it to me like gratuity because i was paying 150 cash for services why not just include a mask insurance paid 500,Tammy the clinic manager said no she could not provide me one I would have to wait outside for my receipt.She then gave me back my change and I asked her why she was so rude on the phone when I called to say we were outside for our appointment and just now with the transaction I asked who scheduled me and she said she could not tell with the system. She then closed the door on me as I was trying to speak about me scheduling an appointment she said your not being seen for services and shut the door on me. I then called the office because my fiance is still getting services so I liked Megan's help so much I didn't want to let Tammy stop me from going to a good dentist if she is just the 1 person stopping it all I'd rather just deal with someone else. Tammy told me no one else was available for my call and told me have a nice day and hung up. I called back and got Megan and explained to her that Tammy would not let me speak to someone else or help at all I do not want to deal with Tammy she did not need to treat me this way as a person scheduling for services.If I go in for services I will tell the dentist about this if it is privately owned because to conduct customer service in that manner is not right. I'm also 6 months pregnant so being treated that way was not ok and I hope they really get a new clinic manager who can help patients with services and concerns and not just shut the door or hang up on them especially after I paid for services. Other than Tammy we are appreciative to the dentist who was able to work on him today and the rest of the staff.

My son and I have been coming here for a few months and they've been great every time and I will continue to come here. They work with me to only do what my insurance will cover and schedule me on their sought after Saturday's. Only problem I have with them was a "broken appointment" bill I got in the mail.I know it's pretty common practice to bill for appointments not kept but I wasn't told they did that (probably hidden in the fine print of something I signed which is also pretty common) and I don't remember scheduling the appointment and I'm usually pretty good about keeping them. They also usually call with a reminder, but they didn't this time. The appointment was in December (apparently) and I had just saw them a month or 2 before that so I don't know what it could have been for. Again, My son and I enjoy coming here and will continue to do so. There's either a disconnect in communication or a misunderstanding of some kind but either way, still like the service.

If I could give a I definitely would! From the minute I walked into the door to when I left I was treated like part of the "gang"! The receptionist, the girl who did my x-rays, & the dentist were all % AMAZING! I don't do alot of reviews, however when I feel a place has that "old school' atmosphere of treatment I have to acknowledge that & give them a thank you. I didnt feel like just another number & they took the actual time to give me their undivided attention. We came up with a treatment plan to fix my smile & i couldn't be happier. It feels good to have found a dentist office I can make mine!

My children and my self had a great experience on our visit. From the Front Desk to the back Staff Are were very Welcoming. Lupe and Sandy, Dental Assistant's were Awsome and Professional. Sunrise Dental of Federal Way made me feel very welcomed on my first dental visit to them.. right away I knew I was referred to the right dental office as soon as I walked in and was greeted ..trust me when I say they are not rude or eyeball rollers ..NICE RECEPTIONIST!! Office is very clean .. beautiful well kept up green plants and a friendly staff .. I highly reccomend them!! I'm from Chicago and need some major work done on my grills. I was referred to this office and am very happy to let them work on me..THANK YOU SDOFW!! LOVE MAMA LUCY
