In order to treat each other and every patient as an individual with unique dental needs, it is vital to completely assess their oral health. We perform an oral cancer screening, gums, muscles, and joints that open and close the mouth. We will look at your mouth, gums, and bone that hold the teeth in the periodontics and take photos and x-rays as necessary. With this information you and your doctor determine the treatment that is right for you.

Aesthetic dentistry is a facet dentistry that deals with enhancement, restoration, and maintenance of optimal dental health specifically designed for you. It is based on artistic creation in a framework of sound scientific principles. It utilizes the most advanced techniques and materials to give natural looking and feeling results that can greatly enhance your life

Yes, If your gum are bleeding, it probably means you are not brushing enough. Remember, brushing harder does not make up for quality time spent. In fact, on your oral hygiene brushing hard may lead into enamel erosion. Bleeding gums are not healthy. Healthy teeth and gums do not bleed when they are brushed and/or flossed!

It means you have gingivitis or periodontists. Gingivitis is acute of the gums and is reversible if treated and proper home care is maintained. Periodontists is a silent disease that affects the bone and tissues surrounding the teeth. Periodontists are not reversible, but it is treatable. If some gingivitis is not treated, it will lead into periodontitis.

It takes two working dental visits about 4-6 weeks apart. There are some planning visits prior to the working visits to determine what result you want and some follow-up bite adjustment visits. Porcelain veneers do not stain and are as strong as natural teeth. When properly placed they will not come off or break even when eating taffy, caramel, or corn on the cob. Like natural teeth, veneers may break also. You should still practice good dental home care.

The material typically contains about 50% mercury and even though the ADA has deemed it safe. It is still considered a toxic and hazardous material outside the mouth. In fact, several European countries have totally banned the use of the material. Amalgam fillings are very unaesthetic and because of corrosion typically turn dark with time. There are more aesthetic materials to use. Our office does not place amalgam fillings, unless it is asked by our patients.

This is what we call the filled to death syndrome. It happens when the tooth has become weak from the use of silver/mercury fillings and cannot hold up under normal chewing. This problem is easily corrected with Tooth-Colored Fillings or Bonded On lays.

Fees for our professional services may be paid in cash, personal check, major credit card or dental credit, which allows you to spread payments over an extended period of time. We dont ever want finances to keep you from receiving the dental care you deserve.

My husband went to an appointment today because he had a broken tooth. They took X-rays and told him that not only did he have a broken tooth but also had a cavity in the tooth in front of it that would reach the roots very quickly if not treated. Instead of treating him however, they told him that he needed to have a letter from his primary care doctor to use a local anesthetic that they had used on him in that office before. This is ridiculous and poor treatment! They used the fact that my husband is in a wheelchair as an excuse!

Im so happy with my results. Dr.Ellis and his assistant Ena or Ina are amazing. I went in to have crowns applied and as they are in the front of my mouth I was incredibly anxious and nervous. They both took the time to answer all of my questions and go over the full procedure with me before even starting. They did such a good job! I love my smile!

Dr. Ellis is the absolute best dentist that I've ever been to. It took me 15 years to get back in the Dentist chair, but I'm still cavity free after all these years. Thank you so much Dr. Ellis for your professionalism. I look forward to seeing you for many years to come!

Worst dentist office ever , I have an abscess tooth that hurts extremely bad , the pain is so bad I wasn't able to go to work, when I called to see if there was something else I could for the pain because iv been rotating ibuprofen and Tylenol, she put me on hold comes back and said the dr isn't going to do pain meds , I never once asked for I just don't wanna be in this much pain especially because my family and I are going camping, they where extremely rude to me and treated me like a drug addict I will never go to them again!! The worst dentist office iv ever been to !!

DO NOT RECOMMEND Super unprofessional And don't know how to treat patients or care for them. Also they utilize fake reviews to try and seem legitimate. This place looks like it's falling apart and feels like it is internally

I recently was in the need of a new dentist as my dentist was retiring. A family member had heard Sunrise Kennewick was taking new patients. My experience proved to be one of the best dental experience in my 60 years. I was promptly greeted upon my arrival. My appointment for X-rays and my problem areas were determined. Dr. Ellis is very professional and put my fears of going to a new dentist at ease. He explained all my problem spots in depth. I will be recommended to all my friends and family.

Best Dentist I have ever been to! Thank you Dr. Ellis for everything! Very accommodating with the schedule as well. If they can't fit me into a day I want at the Kennewick location, they make sure to get me in at one of their other locations. So happy I found you guys!
