Dr. Ahn grew up in Houston, Texas. He graduated from the University of Texas School Of Dentistry at Houston where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree in 1986. His emphasis on patient comfort, as well as keeping up-to-date with the latest advancements in dentistry enable him to provide his patients with the best quality of care in the field. Dr. Ahn has taken additional postgraduate dental education courses in dental implant surgery, restoration, orthodontics, and cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Ahn is a Board Certified Diplomate of American Board of Oral Implantology (ABOI) and International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI). He is also a graduate of Baylor College of Dentistry Cosmetic Dentistry Continuum.
Dr. Chancellors origin story is relatively simple. As a child, his best friends uncle worked as a dentist, and both he and his friend decided to become dentists too after spending some quality time in his dental office. Decades later, hes still inspiring smiles!
Dr. Chancellors college career started at Florida State University, followed by the completion of his dental doctorate in 1986 at the University of Texas Dental Branch in Houston. Over the years, he has pursued continuing education in CEREC same-day technology, laser dentistry, periodontal/bone grafting, head/neck pain treatment, and much more. He is also certified in Invisalign treatment.
When he isnt busy caring for teeth, Dr. Chancellor enjoys spending quality time with his one child, playing golf, and cheering on the Astros. He also has a strong interest in learning about functional medicine, nutrition, and marine biology in his spare time.

Sunrise Dental, unfortunately, seems to have issues with time management. Today I had an appointment for 9 am, but I still had seen no one or was given the courtesy of acknowledging I was still waiting to be treated. After 15 minutes, I had to leave. It's not the first time appointments have been late. If I arrived 15 minutes late, it would be a different story. It's disappointing.

My wife and I have been going to Sunrise Dental since 1995. They have always been kind, caring, and professional. During that time we have had three children who are all young adults now and Sunrise is where we took them to have their teeth cared for. This dental office exceeded my expectations. Everyone I encountered was professional, friendly and knowledgeable. The office is clean and has a very good amount of space. Dr. Tran was fantastic, she made me feel welcomed and I was very confident in her skill set. My hygienist, I believe here name is Rosalyn (I'm not sure) but OMG she is EXCEPTIONAL. I go to the dentist at least twice a year and no one has ever cleaned my teeth the way she did. As long as this staff stays amazing, I have my forever home dentist

Super nice staff from greeting you at the door to the assistants in the back explaining every detail from the moment you sit down and take X-rays. Dr. T was so gentle during my extraction and asked me several times if I was doing ok. All staff members are all so nice and friendly. I would definitely recommend anyone.

Absolutely love Sunrise Dental. I called the other day because I was in extreme pain, and I was told they could see me as long as I made it before 3:30. I arrived and was greeted by Mary and another lady that was at the front desk. Long story short, I ended up getting an extraction. Dr. Tran, Chesly and Mary assured me that everything would go well and it did! So glad I chose Sunrise Dental. I will definitely be returning for my other dental work that I may need.

One of the best dentists I've ever been to. They actually listened to me about what I wanted done, and it was incredibly life changing for me, as I'd had a tooth in my mouth for years that I wanted gone. They numbed me perfectly, were kind, and checked up on me to make sure that I was healing okay afterwards. I would 100% go back here and recommend this Dentist to anyone.
