Dr. Cristiane Jereissati (Dr. Cris) was born and raised in Brazil. She earned her first Bachelor of Dental Surgery from Federal University of Ceara in 1998. After practicing for 14 years in Brazil, she moved to Chicago to continue and advance her career. Dr. Cris received her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree (DDS) in 2020 from Indiana University School of Dentistry.
Her passion in dentistry is to always go above and beyond her patients expectations through positive experiences and open, honest communication. Dr. Cris specializes in crowns, bridges, cosmetic dentistry, root canals, orthodontics, and also works on Invisalign and botox. Dr. Cris believes in staying up to date on the latest advancements in dentistry and completes continuing education courses every year.
Dr. Cris lives in Aurora, IL with her husband, two kids, and dog Big Rodolfo. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, listening to music, watching the latest TV shows, and reading.

She was very personable and listened to my concerns. I came in for a chipped tooth and after her evaluation the agreed upon work to bond the tooth occurred. A very streamline process from Administrative to Dental care. Thank you all

Thank you Sunrise Dental. I had a wonderful experience with my exam, teeth cleaning & x-rays. My teeth feel so smooth and clean. Everyone was so polite & nice. They didn't pressure me for any add ons and everything was transparent.

Excellent safety standards. Helpful, professional and cheerful staff, always ready and able to address problems (like me showing up on the wrong day. They were able to fit me in without discommoding either staff or other patients).

My 94 year old Mom lost her cap due to decay underneath. Made an appointment last week. Sunrise Dental was nice enough to take us even though I got my dates mixed up, I showed up a day early. They provided excellent service and a spotless office with everyone following covid procedures. I HAD been worried about bringing her in due to covid but that wasn't an issue. Doctor Chris removed the tooth and provided us with at home instructions. Very grateful for the tender loving care with my Mom. I highly recommend them.

We brought our 3 year old and they were so patient, kind and made him feel 100% comfortable with the entire experience. They even let him help with MY cleaning! It was so cute :) I highly recommend this business!

I have been a patient of Dr Sutter at Sunrise Dental for many years. The practice was sold . The new dentist over estimates patient responsibility and requires payment of that , on the day of visit. . When insurance pays their portion resulting in an overpayment , she ignores all requests to refund the over payment. The new dentist does not send out any accounting - no statements at all. I no longer trust this practice and will be looking for a new dentist. Keeping overpayments is illegal and will be reported to the Illinois Dept of Professional Regulation.

I have been a patient of Sunrise Dental care and Dr. Sutter for 10+ years. Recently the practice was sold and it's become apparent that the new dentist has changed the process and while it was never a problem to pre-pay my portion of what was expected from the insurance company and refunds were promptly issued for any overages, I have been fighting for over 3 months to have a refund issued for what was paid for by my insurance company. Today I find they have also reduced the hours down to 2.5 days and therefore are never available to answer the phone. Poor customer service and a poor patient experience. This used to be such a great practice - it's a shame
