Kendra is always here to make you feel welcome and comfortable while visiting our practice and firmly believes in our patients being a part of their treatment every step of the way. With her experience in all aspects of the dental field, from clinical treatment to finances, she goes the extra mile to make sure your treatment needs will fit your time and budget.
Outside the office, Kendra enjoys spending time with her husband and friends. Her hobbies include trying new restaurants, hosting a Seahawk Sunday get together, shooting, going on motorcycle rides with her husband, and relaxing at home snuggled up with her puppies Arya and Emma.
When Amanda is not in the office helping our patients, she is fond of enjoying the outside by hiking or visiting the beach with her husband, and spending time with her beloved Rottweiler, Kaiser and Pitbull mix Chance.
Christina has been a dental assistant since graduating from Northshore Dental Assisting Academy in 2011 and really loves her work. She is a 'people-person' and truly has a natural gift in connecting with her patients to help put even the most anxious patient at ease. Her favorite part of work is when she can make a difference in someone 's life and help them achieve a healthy smile. Always cheerful and smiling, Christina is here to make sure you are comfortable during every visit and strives to build trusting relationships with her patients and improve their oral health.

Highly recommend!! Been going to this dentist for years. Staff is always friendly and welcoming. Recently had my front tooth repaired and it looks amazing! I'm so thankful.

Everyone was super welcoming and very willing to answer any and all questions that I had and have. They wanted to make sure that I was nothing but comfortable. They make you feel like an individual. Cared for and like someone actually cares. They go above and beyond to make sure you are happy and comfortable. They explain everything in great detail and seem to do their best if not better to get you taken care of and happy. The doctor was very personable and caring also. I would tell everyone to go there.

Everyone here is so friendly! I had a ton of anxiety after not going to the dentist for a very long time and not only did I get zero judgements but they were super accommodating and reassuring through the whole process. Cannot recommend them enough!

Omg I could almost cry !!! I have been meaning to write this review for years. !!They HANDS DOWN ARE THE MOST AMAZING DR OR DENTISTS OFFICE I HAVE EVER SEEN AS A WHOLE in MY 48 years of being alive!! Truly they are not only AMAZING with customer service but they are also amazing with all personality types. Whether it's high strung like me or mellow like my son !! Both while you're in the chair, waiting in the waiting area or while you're at home I ALWAYS feel like we all are part of the family. Best prices, best service, but just as important a VERY TALENTED, knowledgeable, excellent bed side manner and very smart, up to date with the best newest Technology out there and OUT OF this world amazing customer service by the girls at the front desk and of course all the dental assistance all wow like heading to your BFFs house for dinner not to the dentist chair lol. I love how I can text them (which probably not something they get often but I can't help myself sometimes I just miss them LOL and they always text me back) BUT for real honestly I do only text them when I need a quick question ........ oh and they always remind me before my appointment in a text which wow that's such a great feature TOO I would be lost without there texting system tbey use. As a patient of Dr Chong at the Sunrise in smokey point they listened and knew I personally had gone through a lot of family issues such as cancer, serious surgeries, the covid mess and deaths and serious car accidents in the family and thru all of that it's unbelievable what a toll it can take on not only your teeth but your whole mental state. Because of this I did not go to the dentist for a whole year and a half and let $5000 worth of dental benefits go unused. My operating engineers benefits went to waste during this time. They don't and didn't judge INSTEAD they understand how important AND complicated your mental state is just as much as our oral health and as you get older teeth can get worse (more problems, etc) and they have gone ABOVE and BEYOND to make me feel comfortable and accomplishing getting back to the great smile that we all deserve when I was going through a lot it was unbelievably amazing how they handled it and continue to help me now not only move forward one tooth/day at a time but fix the drawbacks of having situations that are beyond our control effect my smile. Thank you DR CHONG, Amanda and ALL of the phenomenal LADIES in the front office, the dental assistance etc. They even have had a fur buddy there occasionally (when we had the heat wave of 110* and no AC at home for the fur buddies......that's how FAMILY AND FUR BUDDY ORIENTED they are. They love animals and KNOW sometimes an animal has to come to work with you also to keep them safe. BLESS THEM .......Absolutely love love love these guys and your pocketbook will also!! I was there yesterday LOL and I'm on my way to sunrise in a few hours to bring my son back in. Thank you sunrise dental in Smokey point especially Dr. Chung and all of the amazing ladies that ALL like family and they treat you as you are !!!
