Dr. McCaffrey was born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, where his father was a very dedicated ER physician. In addition to serving in both Canada and the USA, his father spent time in Liberia, Africa as a missionary doctor. Dr. McCaffreys philosophies in dentistry and patient care were formed in observance of the selfless love and service that his father demonstrated towards those in his care throughout his life, bringing healing and health up until his last 6 months in this world. His fathers overseas work has also inspired Dr. McCaffrey to serve on multiple missions, both locally and internationally in Colombia and Haiti.
Dr. McCaffrey graduated from The Ohio State University Dental School and has diligently attended many institutes of continuing dental/medical education to be able to give the best the profession has to offer. He is highly accomplished in the extremely difficult disciplines of prosthodontics and implantology and is complimented by a strong surgical background.
Having actively conducted Intravenous (IV) Sedation throughout his career, he maintains medical training such as Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Medical Emergencies and Airway Management to name a few. This expertise has enabled him to help all of his patients, from those with small issues to those in the most difficult situations. His extensive training and experience has equipped him to treat patients with special needs as well as those who are medically compromised.
Dr. McCaffrey looks forward to getting to know each and every one of his patients. He loves working alongside his team and offering his 20 years of experience to provide a dental home where families and individuals can be helped and healed.

Dr. McCaffrey is a perfectionist!Which is a good thing in a dentist!! The staff and the doctor are true professionals who attended to all my needs with compassion and skill. I was extremely happy with the work Dr. McCaffrey did for me and would give him and his staff five stars and highly recommend.

This was my first visit to Sunridge Dental Care and I must say it was a very pleasant visit. Dr McCaffrey has a nice dentistry, great staff and the latest in tools. As I had to have a crown replaced, they did an excellent job! I highly recommend him for the entire family.

I had major work that needed to be completed, my mouth was collapsing, and my bite was off kilter, major reconstruction was needed. My journey took me to Sunridge Dental Care and Dr. McCaffrey and his dedicated Team....I am now near completion and I can smile again and have no issues at all with my bite. Dr. McCaffrey and Trisha were great. They fully explained everything that needed to be done, and offered future services. All the staff were very professional and friendly. I am from out of state and needed an appointment for a chipped tooth. They got me in the next day and were able to fix the tooth the same day. Would highly recommend!!

Sunridge Dental Care was a wonderful office. The front office staff (Amy) was outstanding in service. Amy explained everything prior to my dental visit with Dr. McCaffrey. The Doctor and his dental assistant explained all my options. I was very happy with my experience at this office.
