Dr. Coombs was born and raised in Salem Oregon. Upon graduating from North Salem High school, he took time off to live outside of the United States, after returning to Oregon he attended Portland State University and graduated cum laude with a degree in Biology. He then graduated with a DMD from dental school at OHSU in Portland.
Dr. Coombs is a detail oriented dentist and enjoys providing high-quality patient care. With his laid back demeanor he will make you feel relaxed and right at home. Dr. Coombs is committed to providing the best possible treatment for patients.
As one who grew up in the North West Dr. Coombs enjoys the many amenities Oregon has to offer. He spends time hunting, fishing, hiking, playing the guitar and loves just being outside. Dr. Coombs has also been involved in martial arts since he was young and practices Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
Dr. Coombs is a family man who loves watching his kids grow and do new funny things all the time. He married his wife Renae in 2004 and they now have three wonderful children. Sharing life with so many wonderful people has brought true happiness and looks forward to making new relationships with those around him.

I have been going here for about 2 years. Doctor has baby soft hands and always makes me feel safe. Rhonda at the front desk is super nice, and always gives me extra reminders as needed. They have got me in for emergencies quickly too. They have all the latest and greatest equipment. Thank you Sunnyslope Dental!

Dr. Coombs and his staff were ::amazing::. I am so thankful for their kindness and wonderful care. As a person who does not like the dentist and has some serious dental trauma, this was by and far the best dental experience I have had to date. He and his staff were calm, patient, and thorough in their work. I couldn't be happier with my experience while having a wisdom tooth extracted.

I consider myself lucky to have found Dr. Coombs office, and I can only echo what other reviews have already mentioned. But the most notable factors are: highly personalized approach to treatments, distinguished professionalism, and the ability to make it look easy while providing the highest quality of care. Dr. Coombs and staff were able to get our daughter in at the very last second with an extreme toothache. He was great at getting her out of pain and helping us find out the cause. He was also very calm and gentle with her! We would highly recommend him!

The entire staff at Sunnyslope are phenomenal. Their care and compassion are beyond anything I've experienced in a medical office and Dr. Coombs expertise far surpasses any dentist I've dealt with in the past. He's both extremely skilled and exceedingly kind, and he's top notch with kids as well. I recommend Sunnyslope Dental to everyone I know or meet who's looking for a dentist and am grateful to have found such excellent care.

I have had an implant done by Dr Coombs and a couple of cleanings at the office, and I have enjoy the experience. My mouth looks better all the time.

I was very nervous about going to see any dentist. Life got busy and I hadn't been in over 4 years. I needed a new dentist and Dr. Coombs was amazing. He definitely calmed my nerves. Nicole, the hygienist, didn't just ask question she engaged in a meaningful conversation. The office manager was welcoming and made me feel right at home. The office was very nice and comfortable! I left feeling very happy that I finally found a dentist that I look forward to going back to in 6 months rather than dreading it.

I been dealing with a Tooth ache for two weeks othe dentist office didnt even call me back others couldn't get me in for another week I called sunny slope dental Rhonda the receptionist told me she would do anything she could to get me on the next day and she did Dr Coombs was very nice and professional he fixed my tooth the same day the whole thing was painless and very fast I very thankfull with this guys I will be coming back any time I need Dental care thank you again

Sunnyslope has been a great fit for us. We appreciate their timeliness. We have never had to wait long for our appointments. Their receptionist, hygenists, and dentist are all kind and friendly. Highly recommend!

The entire staff is always very polite, and professional. The environment is very comfortable and sets a good vibe. They have had no problem working with me on various ways to help me either financially or schedule wise. They always seem to provide multiple options for you, and work with you to get the solutions you need. I've been there to get work done multiple times now, and have even more days scheduled to get work done. Everything always goes really well everytime! They even took the initiative by calling me after I got my wisdom teeth pulled to ask how I was feeling afterwards an' see if everything was going smoothly. They have done follow-ups and have allow me to do so too if needed. Overall I will definitely be recommending Sunnyslope Dental to anyone who is looking to get dental work.

Dr. Coombs and staff are all so wonderful with my kids (2 and 5) they are considerate to talk to them and tell them what they're doing and are very professional. The office is a comfortable, clean setting.
