I love being a dentist. Over the years, I have had the opportunity to meet many wonderful people, including building long lasting friendships with my patients and their families. It has always been my focus to make each patient feel at home when they come to me for treatment. I am dedicated to providing comfortable and quality dental care for the entire family.
I especially enjoy the artistic aspect of dentistry. The process of transforming a person's smile has such a positive impact to ones' self-confidence-this is the most rewarding experience for me. My love for dentistry began when I was in high school where I worked as a chairside dental assistant in a pediatric office for two years. I completed my undergraduate at Portland State University in Biology and Doctorate of Dental Medicine at Oregon Health Sciences University in 1996.
By regularly participating in continuing education and study groups, I stay current with the latest technology and dental treatment. I've completed courses ranging from cutting edge cosmetic procedures, implant restorations, and surgical techniques in order to provide our patients with the best that dentistry has to offer.
I enjoy running, yoga, interior design and spending time with my wonderful husband, and our three sons. I am blessed to be a part of the Clackamas/ Happy Valley community. I believe strongly in giving back to the community that we live in and volunteer with our local charities, schools, and church. I look forward to meeting you and your family to provide a life-long dental relationship.
I love working with the many unique people I meet every day. I enjoy the challenges that each day presents, whether Im helping patients achieve and exceed their oral health goals, giving them a beautiful smile, or simply getting them out of discomfort. It all makes me grateful to have chosen such a rewarding career.
My career in dentistry began while I was still in high school. I worked as a dental assistant for a pediatric dentist, and after high school, attended Portland State University for my undergraduate education. To fulfill my desire to become a dentist, I attended Northwestern University Dental School, and finished in 1995 with my Doctorate of Dental Surgery.
Dentistry is an ever-evolving profession: There are new advances in dentistry practically every day. By taking the latest courses and seminars, I am able to provide patients with the latest dental care.
I grew up in Portland and now reside in Happy Valley with my wife and our three wonderful sons. I spend my free time relaxing with family, playing tennis, running, and working out. Ive even run two marathons!

Angela has worked in the dental field since 1996 and has been on the Sunnybrook team as a dental hygienist since 2013. Her favorite part of her job is meeting new people and getting to know patients on a personal level. She also gets great satisfaction from seeing shiny, bright smiles after a cleaning is complete! While Angela takes her patients health very seriously, she also knows how important it is to keep a fun, light-hearted atmosphere.
Melissa joined Sunnybrook Family Dental in 2013 and brought with her almost 20 years of experience in dental hygiene. She creates lasting relationships with her patients by working with them on a one-on-one basis. It is her privilege to aid in providing a positive dental experience. Melissa appreciates the office atmosphere created by Drs. Wong and Nguyen, and finds it a joy to come to every day. She feels blessed to be working with such a wonderful team.
Melissa relocated to the Pacific Northwest from Indiana in August of 2013. She has three wonderful children and three Chihuahuas. Melissa likes working out and running, and sings on the worship team at her church.
Kristina works at the sides of Drs. Wong and Nguyen, assisting with various procedures and expediting patient care by taking X-rays, prepping patient rooms, and sterilizing instruments. She became a part of the Sunnybrook Family Dental team in 2013 and enjoys helping patients improve their smiles. Kristina always has out patients best interests at heart.
Jessica has been a part of Sunnybrook Family Dental since 1995, making her one of our longest-standing team members. Over the years, she has transitioned from dental assisting to the front office, where she now helps manage the day-to-day operations of the practice. She loves working with people, which makes her role a great fit! Jessica shares in our doctors dedication to helping our patients achieve great oral health and passion for exceeding expectations.
Jessica is married and the mother of two precious girls. They also have three dogs and two horses. The family enjoys going camping, and Jessicas personal hobbies include running and exercising. She also volunteers at 4H and with local high school equestrian teams.
In addition to being a certified EFDA, Holly also helps out at the front desk with scheduling and answering the phone. She joined Sunnybrook Family Dental in 2006, and since then, this office has become her second family. Holly works hard to make each patient feel as comfortable as possibleher goal is to see all patients leave our office with great memories of their visit!
