Dr. Marai Vales graduated from the University of Puerto Rico in 1988 with a bachelors degree in basic science, and a majorin biology. Dr. Vales moved to the U.S. to attend the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine. After practicing in Connecticut as a general dentist, she moved to Pittsburgh to further her education. In 1997, Dr. Valesgraduated from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine and Childrens Hospital of Pittsburgh with a specialty certificate in pediatric dentistry.
Dr. Vales relocated to Florida in 1997 to continue her practice and be closer to her family. She spends her free time participating in marathons and triathlons and spending time with her daughter, family, and friends. Helping children brighten their smile by achieving better oral hygiene and diet is her passion.

Dr. Vales has been amazing since the moment we met her. Our 3 year old was a bit delayed on her first check up due to covid and then a move out of state. Unfortunately some cavities were found but, she came up with a treatment plan that we stuck to for a few months and our toddler's teeth look amazing. She had to be sedated for her procedure but she had a team of pediatric anesthesiologists who worked closely with her. Everything is great so far and we are thankful for how professional and kind everyone was. Dr. Vales you are amazing... thank you for your work.

The doctor and staff were very pleasant but Diamond stood out more then anything she was amazing with my daughter and my son, she knew how to comfort my kids more then anything. She was more then amazing best experience I've ever had

The staff is nice and friendly. My child is almost 2yrs old and at her first visit, the dentist was very gentle with her and provided a little toy and goodie bag to go home. My daughter visit was very pleasant and she wasn't afraid. And minimum wait time.

A very friendly and courteous team. My daughter's first dentist visit. She was incredibly nervous. But the team. Specifically Diamond. Made her feel so comfortable that it wound up being a great experience for her. This is definitely her home dentist. Great job!!!

I will not take my children anywhere else, I started coming here when my daughter was about a year old, and the dentist/ doctor/ teeth brushing allll her worst fears, yes she screams, yes she cries, but I gota say the way they handle it here, and reassure me, and take care of my youngest and older brother, they are phenomenal here! Thank you for everything

Dr. Vales and her staff were all extremely patient and compassionate in allowing my son, his therapist, and I to practice coming to the dentist to ease his fears. They went out of their way to accommodate us, and I greatly appreciate them!

Dr. Marai Vales is awesome !! She is very informative and very helpful if you have any questions or concerns. Her assistance are amazing and the front desk lady's are very nice and helpful. My boys 7&3 and they love going. They especially like when they get a coin and get to do the little fun toy vending machines that they have after they're done with their teeth cleaning. The office is very good reminding you about your appointments, you get emails and phone calls. Overall, I'm a happy mommy &&& my boys love getting their teeth done.
