Dr. Ravari graduated from UCLA in 2004, then received her DDS from the USC Dental School in 2008. As a highly skilled general and cosmetic dentist, Dr. Ravari takes each patients whole health into consideration when diagnosing oral health concerns. Her compassionate, caring, and thoughtful approach is one reason why patients love visiting.

Dr. Ravari loves educating patients on how to improve their oral health, and sharing important but little-known facts, such as the fact that cavities are contagious. Patients who think bad teeth or gum run in the family are surprised to learn that oral bacteria simply transfer from sharing drinks, silverware, and kisses.

Dr. Ravari is married to an endodontist and has two young children (twin boys). Though she sometimes wishes she had time for hobbies, such as playing tennis, she is happily consumed by work and spending time with her family.

Dr. Lee attended college in Korea and the United States. She received a bachelors degree in neuroscience from University of Southern California and then attended dental school where she received her D.D.S. from USC School of Dentistry.

While participating in medical missions, she realized how limited the care was. This sparked her interest in dentistry because she would be able to provide so much more care with only a few tools. She says dentistry is mobile and allows a dentist to work anywhere.

Her favorite part of dentistry is healing patients pain, but her passion is connecting with people. She believes in patient education, and it is important to her to make sure she understands the patients concerns while the patient understands what is going on with their oral health.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Lee enjoys classical music, Costco pizza, being active within her church, and participating in a book club. A fun fact about Dr. Lee is that she isnt afraid of deep water, but she is afraid of heights.

When several different things affect your smiles appearance, addressing each and every one can seem more than just challenging. Therefore, some patients choose not to address them at all for fear of needing extensive dental treatment. However, with one or several custom-designed porcelain veneers, you can enjoy the more attractive smile that you deserve without needing to undergo a daunting dental experience. Best of all, your veneers will be custom-designed to blend in with your natural smile, making them virtually indistinguishable from the rest of your healthy teeth.

Porcelain veneers are made from thin shells of dental porcelain (or ceramic), which boasts the ability to closely mimic the appearance of healthy teeth. Not only is the porcelain tinted to match your tooths color, but also layered to reflect light in the same manner for optimal cosmetic results. Each veneer is designed according to the size, shape, and measurements of a specific tooth, and then bonded to the front surface of that tooth to completely transform its appearance. When you have multiple teeth with several different blemishes, multiple veneers can be used to transform them all at the same time.

Veneers are ultra-thin shells of porcelain, usually about 0.5mm or thinner. This makes them durable enough to withstand all of your bite pressure, yet thin enough to fit comfortably and naturally on your teeth without needing much preparation. In fact, prepping your tooth only requires contouring a small amount of tooth enamel from the front of its surface just enough for the ultra-thin veneer to fit. Once the veneer is bonded in place, it will fit flush with the rest of your smiles contour, creating a natural and lifelike finish for your veneers.

Their highly lifelike appearance makes veneers a preferable option when cosmetically improving your smile, but that isnt the only reason why theyre so beneficial. The ability to significantly improve your smile while minimizing the amount of healthy, natural tooth structure that has to be modified also creates several advantages for your long-term oral health, including:

Had been a patient for over 5 years and although there was a different doctor at almost every visit, I decided to stick with them as the wait times were reasonable. This year my son and I showed up to our appointment for a cleaning and I declined to take X-rays. The doctor decided to not see us unless we took X-rays, so we declined their services. I will happily find a dentist who is not money hungry as X-rays are not mandatory or necessary every 6 months! Could've easily used the X-rays previously taken but they decided not to! I have never had any dental problems or needed any work done, therefore unnecessary! -The American Dental Association recommends that healthy adults with no major apparent dental problems only need to get X-rays every 2-3 years. However, the ADA suggests that patients with recurring decay or other oral complications have X-rays taken once or twice a year.

I've been with this dental service a longtime for regular cleanings. I am not happy that recently they discontinued Saturday service. My last cleaning went as usual but after the cleaning I was not allowed to schedule my next appointment, instead I will receive a text with my next appointment date and time. I was not happy when informed that if I can't make that appointment then I could reschedule.

I didn't even make it in the door! I showed up to my appointment and it was locked and when I called the young lady in the front desk first she said she spoke to me that I canceled my appointment due to my 2 kids being sick when I didn't call and I only had 1 kid then she went off to say that she actually tried calling me and couldn't get through then said the Dr had an emergency and had to leave! The worst customer service!! Wasted my day when I asked for time off and had to take my daughter out of school for nothing! Only put 1 star cause I had to put one to be able to post!

My family and I have been going to Sunny Smiles for years and the service is great! Every single staff member is friendly and we are always seen on time. In addition to the service, I like that the building including the playground always looks really clean. Sunny Smiles has been keeping my family cavity free for years and has made each visit very pleasant.
