Dr. Kims passion for dentistry has been life long. As the daughter of a dental lab technician, Dr. Kim knew from early on that she wanted to pursue a career in the dental field. She earned her DDS from UCLA in 1996. Upon graduation, she completed her General Practice Residency at the VA Sepulveda, which allowed her an opportunity to further advance her skills as a dentist.
Shortly thereafter, Dr. Kim and a partner opened a general dentistry practice in Pasadena, California. In only two years, the practice grew to include three offices. She remained in Pasadena until 2004, when she and her family relocated to Seattle, where Dr. Kim took over a practice in the Wallingford neighborhood. Dr. Kim and her team strive to make every patient visiting her office feel comfortable and satisfied with his or her care and treatment. She believes in offering strong preventative care to ensure healthy teeth for years to come and is dedicated to offering comprehensive and efficient dental care, with an emphasis on minimizing patient pain and anxiety.
Dr. Paek strives to show her passion for dentistry in the work that she puts forth. Her journey to the field of patient care came after marriage and children. Although life was busy, she realized that she wanted to do more to help people.
After graduating from dental school at Oregon Health Sciences University in Portland, Oregon, Dr. Paek moved to Utah and practiced in a corporate dental setting. However, after moving to the Seattle area, Dr. Paek has been fortunate to work with a close friend and colleague in Dr. Kim. They share a similar goal in providing excellent patient care and providing the patient with a great experience.
In her free time Dr. Paek pursues furthering her dental knowledge through continuing education and medical mission work with the entire family. She also takes advantage of the spectacular outdoor activities in the Seattle area with friends and family.
