Ever since he was a kid, Dr. Duongs parents have encouraged him to go into the healthcare field, and he was intrigued by the sciences as well from a young age. When it came to college, he naturally gravitated towards a major that involved these two topics. After volunteering in various medical fields, he eventually realized that he would really enjoy the hands-on nature of dentistry, as well as getting to interact with patients daily. After all these years, and partnering with Dr. Kuan for over 10 of them, hes never regretted that decision for a moment!
After completing his undergraduate degree at the University of California Irvine, Dr. Duong pursued his doctorate at the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco. Over the course of his career, he has also completed various continuing education courses in a wide variety of topics, including pediatric dentistry, endodontics, oral surgery, and cosmetic dentistry.
Although he has partnered with Dr. Duong for better than 10 years, dentistry actually runs in Dr. Kuans family. His dad had a dental office (first started by his grandfather) that he spent some time working in during his college years and for a little while after graduation. During his junior year of college, Dr. Kuan realized that he didnt want to ignore his love of science and changed his major from computer science to biology. Dentistry just felt like the perfect fit, and over a decade later, hes happy to have been right about that!
After graduating from San Jose State with his undergraduate degree, Dr. Kuan pursued his doctorate at the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco, completing the only three-year dental program in the country! Today, he has a particular interest in creating natural-looking restorative work like fillings and dental crowns, as well as performing extractions. He regularly attends continuing education courses on these topics so that his skills are constantly improving.
Dr. Kuan is the oldest of three and has two younger sisters, one of whom is a high school teacher while the other works as a chiropractor. He met his wife Diana here in Dallas, and shes also a dentist. They have an Australian Shepard/Border Collie mix named Gracie at home. In his free time, he enjoys hanging out with his lovely wife, cooking, eating meals with family and friends, and listening to music. Hes also always up for checking out new bands in live venues!

Had a great welcoming service as soon as I set foot inside Gaby she works the front desk had great positive attitude very helpful with checking my insurance and was very knowledgeable about her work and the service. I went in for a root canal treatment but they have another office where they service me for that and all around gave me great customer service and Gaby and her team are very helpful and answers any questions I had. I recommend them 100%

Great first experience. They have a play area with arcade games that my girls loved. Staff was pleasant. Service was good and swift. No long waiting time. They gave my girls Halloween treats buckets and a bucket to me with teeth cleaning supplies, which was a good example of after service care. Have set-up our next 6 months cleaning appointment for the family. Will update on our future experience as well.

Excellent service , great professionalism & sweet people. All the staff make sure you're ok & good to go from the second you come in , all the way until you leave! Many Dentists do not do house warming habits & don't care enough about their patients, THESE WOMAN & MEN DO ! Two staff members that you may encounter will be Gaby & Dr. Lee. Gaby is very sweet, professional, & has a warming personality & smile. Dr. Lee is skilled at his craft & knows what he's doing. He will make sure you're ok & taken care of throughout you're visit.
