Growing up in in the little town of Elizabeth, CO, Dr. Chad has fond memories of watching his dad practice dentistry, build his own office, and create a legacy of caring for a community. With the rest of his family hailing from the Cody, WY area, Dr. Chad has always been a true Wyomingite at heart. He loves the Cheyenne area and the amazing people that live here.Dr. Chad feels honored to follow in his fathers footsteps and start his own adventure keeping patients smiling in Cheyenne.
Dr. Chad comes to Sunlight Dental with years of experience under his belt. After completing his undergraduate studies at Brigham Young University-Idaho, he went on to obtain a masters degree in Biomedical Sciences from Midwestern University in Glendale, AZ. Dr. Chad then attended dental school at Creighton University School of Dentistry in Omaha, NE and received his degree in 2017. He practiced family dentistry in Sidney, NE and Loveland, CO before settling in Wyoming. Dr. Chads pride and joy are his wife and six children.Laine, Amy, Emma, Reed, Cody and Kate keep him and his beautiful wife Autumn busy!The family loves camping, hiking, fishing, hunting and playing sports like basketball, baseball, soccer and football. The Christiansens do their best to go watch the Cowboys and local high school teams play.Theres a good chance youll see them around participating in rec sports and school activities all while volunteering at their local church.
Dr. Chad loves that every day at Sunlight Dental brings new patients and new challenges, and his favorite thing about the practice is that he gets to interact with people on a personal level. He is humbled and grateful to be able to provide a highly technical service that can make such a big difference in peoples lives.Dr. Chad wants nothing more than for you to feel like you are comfortable and in good hands when you come visit the office. Excellent dental care!!! Everyone was friendly, caring, and professional. My visit to have a toothache taken care of ended up with a root canal a few days later after the pain had subsided. My visit for the root canal was completed that day with no issues at all. I'm very happy with my dental care at Sunlight Dental and would highly recommend them to anyone who's looking for great full-service dental care.

I would absolutely tell friends & family about Sunshine. I was welcomed when I walked in. Rachel, my hygienist, explained every procedure she was about to do. She was also very personable. Dr. Chad was very kind too!

Extremely nice and informative staff! I was a new patient, luckily a friend of mine had referred me. I needed quite a bit of work done. They took time to inform me of my options, as far as treatment plans. We came up with a plan to get full dental implants. I could not be more excited and pleased with this outfit.

My son called because he has been in pain for weeks. They fit him in right away. Pulled a couple of teeth and put stitches in. Got sent home with over the counter medication. He's been in tears since he has been home. He should have been sent home with a prescription painkiller to last him a couple of days.

I've always had bad experiences with having teeth pulled but do gotta say that it was the best experience I've had in a long time at the dentist. He was so gentle with getting it lose that it came out no problems no more pain thank you for all the awesome work you guys do

Being my initial visit, the staff as well the dentist were very friendly and helpful and patient as they went through my records to set me up properly. The dental exam was very thorough and clearly explained. I am truly looking forward to many years with them taking care of all my dental needs.
