Dr. Danielle Franklin is originally from Los Angeles, California; but having lived here most of her life, Dr. Franklin considers herself a Texan. Dr. Franklin always knew she wanted to be a dentist since she was a teenager. She had many great experiences at her own dentists office growing up.
Dr. Franklin graduated from MacArthur High School in Irving, TX and attended Texas A&M University in College Station, TX where she earned a B.S. in Biomedical Science. Dr. Franklin earned her Doctrine of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) at Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, Texas. Since her graduation, Dr. Franklin worked in various areas starting in Amarillo, TX and returning to the DFW area in 2010. Wherever, she practiced, her dental philosophy was the same, serving the community by helping patients and their families improve and maintain oral health through compassionate dentistry and dental education.
Dr. Franklin currently lives in Dallas with her husband Gregory, who she met in college and their furbaby, Maximillian. Dr. Franklin enjoys traveling, spending time with family and friends, participating in the Duncanville Chamber of Commerce, Oak Cliff Dental Study Club and performing at the Duncanville Community Theater.
I was born and raised in Dodge City, Kansas. I attended Wichita State University where I earned my Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene. I began my career in Kansas, but soon after moved to Arlington, TX. Being a hygienist is such a rewarding career. I enjoy the opportunity of meeting new patients and helping them create and maintain a healthy smile. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my husband, watching sports, and shopping!
I was born and raised in Denton, Texas and moved to Arlington 9 years ago. Ive been in the dental field for 9 years and I have to say, being able to help patients get the smile they deserve gives me the most rewarding feeling!

I was sad to have to switch dentists back in 2018 because Dr. Franklin was no longer on my dental insurance plan. Now that I no longer have dental insurance, I'm baaaaack! Dr. Franklin and her staff are awesome. They are all very attentive, thorough and gentle. I highly recommend Sunshine Dental and Dr. Franklin.

The staff was so nice and sweet to me I felt totally comfortable. They got me in and out with a gentle touch. My gums weren't sore and I was cheesing extra hard from the good job they did cleaning my teeth. I can see myself being a client of theirs for the long haul.

This place NEVER disappoints! First off I absolutely HATE going to the dentist! This team of professionals make it all better. I mean like for real. They take time to explain what's going on in your mouth, what needs to be done and they do not try and up sale you with scare tactics. Oh yeah I hate needles but the Dr. Does this lil shake thing and I don't notice it hardly. Will be going back and I highly recommend Sunflower!

Went in with a severe tooth infection and no appointment. Swollen so badly a Chipmunk was jealous! The staff was able to work me in and get it adrdressed! I am so appreciative!
