This place is very friendly and patient with all their patients. If you have any questions, they will try their best to explain in detail for you. They're really honest. The Dr is so much help. She will help you with everything that she can. Because she is a general dentist so some root canal or wisdom extraction, she will not do it. But no worry, she will give you all information for the specialists. The staffs are really amazing and assist you when you need help. The price is of course cheaper than other office. It's a small office but they all provide you the best healthcare services. Recommend to everyone! I will definitely come back for my every 6 months check-up.

i have been getting dental care from this dr since 2016 when she was at another location, but i have follwed her to this new location, i will highly recommend Dr Amiina, is very good at patient care. She gives a detailed explanation of the issue the patient having before proceeding with the treatment. Her support staff is supportive & caring. The facility is also very clean & hygienic. My whole family likes the facility. the prices are very affordable. i got root canal done by dr amiina 5 yrs back and the cap is still there without any issues, no more pain, the whole staff along with dr are v considerate caring, you can tell in the first appointment. i have referred several family and friends to this office, they are also very happy, my sister comes here from cypress, and i come here from woodlands and really wuld not mind the commute to see this dr. highly highly recommend

Getting treatment from this doctor just like you getting treatment for a dental student from university clinic. The only differece is there always a professor who will supervise student's dental work. And Dr. Tamkenath only work with her own imagination. I almost died on her dental operation chair due to traumatic blood loss, becuse she doesn't know how to do the tempory dental crowns. she applied super strong tempory dental cement all over my teeth and gum tissues. Six weeks laster, my permanent crowns were ready, and she tried to remove all the tempory crowns. When she pulled those super strong tempory cements out of gum tissues, my blood were spatter everywhere. I lost lots of blood. She did not say sorry, instead she complained there was food debris on teeth. She is careless person. A day after she installed my permanent crowns, I discovered one crown is not fully covered my tooth. I pointed to her. She was not trying to look where I pointed, instead she was sitting there and kept telling me that she did not see it. She offers affordable dental treatment. However, those dental works only last for a year. I have to paid another dentist to do the same dental works again.

One of the beat dental care you can except here, the dr is honest, trustworthy. I'm so glad I found this dental office. The fees is reasonable overall very good experience.

Hands down the best dentist I have come across, professional, honest, the entire staff is very helpful kind and Dr amena is very gentle and knowledgeable explains everything In detail, definitely recommend to families and friends.

I'd recommend this dentist for children who's baby teeth haven't fallen out yet, but not for adult teeth because, ya know, it matters. Dr. Tamkenath is very kind, patient and gentle, but I had to make MULTIPLE return trips, using my paid time off to correct mistakes (incompetence?) I initially came here because my previous dentist had to leave town for family reasons. My x-rays and diagnosis were already prepared and sent over to them. I needed a root canal and to have my upper wisdom teeth removed. This Dr ignored the previous diagnosis and told me I only needed a crown and not a root canal. I expressed my concern because I was just told I needed one, she assured me a crown is all I needed. Well, not only was she wrong, but the temporary crown that she put on BROKE IN HALF within an hour! The tooth in question continued to be extremely sensitive pressure and temperature because, well... I NEEDED A ROOT CANAL. So I return yet again to get an explanation. After all of this she refers me to another dentist to do the root canal which, it appears she simply couldn't perform in the first place. So now I have to spend even more money and use more of my PTO that was already allotted to vacation. Not to mention endure more pain having my teeth drilled into. There was also a fragment of wisdom tooth that was left behind and had to be pulled on yet another return visit. Full disclosure, she told me it was a piece of food stuck in my gums, but I find it hard to believe there was a piece of food hard enough to be removed with plyers after numbing stuck in my gums, especially considering I couldn't eat anything that hard due to pain because I STILL NEED A ROOT CANAL! Anyway, the whole operation just felt like Amateur Hour. The assistants needed many tries to get x-rays the previous dental office got in one take. It was like 2 girls trying to change a car battery. Maybe they're using equipment from the 90s or something, idk. Don't get wrong, this place isn't 100% bad. Again, the people were very friendly, kind, patient and the Dr is very gentle. But they should definitely be your last resort after exhausting other options.

got my 6 VENEERS today..im so happy the way they turned out, big thank you to Dr Amena and her team for this fabulous job...she took time to give details to every step, the procedure was done in 2 appointments, the assistants made sure i was comfortable every appointment, best experience ever..highly recommend for cosmetic dental work, and YES the prices are affordable. update: went in today for my recall appointment, they accommodated me last min as i wanted to use my benefits before they expire, everything was so smooth and the staff, dr continue to be amazing. im so glad i found this dentist place

i was in super pain on my front tooth, i called this office they were ready to see me right away, i went in there the front desk was very helpful, being in pain all night i could barely do my paperwork, she helped me complete the paperwork. i was called in immediately, the nurse took xrays, doctor came in amd explained me all that was happening to my tooth, she explained me the different treatment options i can have, and also explained the procedure and possible outcome. this was the first time in my life that a doctor spent enough amount of time to discuss the xrays and what was going on. next came the financial part, the front lady went over with me the insurance benefits. honestly dint find a honest office like this one in my entire life, they dint try to sell extra or pushed on doing any treatment, copay was exaclty what was given by the insurance, did not over charge me, they accommodated me as per my schedule, need more doctors and offices like this. definetly recommend to family and friends

One of the best Dentists I have ever seen. I have been trying to find a Doctor for the last 3 years in Houston that is not just selling me things and rather actually take care. This is it. Dr. Amena Tamkenath is one of those Doctors who care about her patients. She will try everything possible to do minimal and not put you through too many treatments. She is very sincere, upfront, knowledgeable and honest. I went to two Dentists before her and was very much disappointed. Dr. Amena Tamkenath staff is also very caring and sweet. If you want a good Doctor, this is the place. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would highly recommend!

Becareful with this dentist. i took my kids in for a check up and the dentist said all was fine.... i eas suspicious when she checked out my kids under 5 minutes!! The following day my little girl tells me her teeth hurt and when i look at them the first thing i see is a cavity and a cracked tooth in the back... THis dentist is only here for money.

Dr Amena is knowledgeable, and compassionate, i have fear for dentist, but she along with her staff are so amazing, my appointment went smooth, the dr gave me breaks between the treatment, explained treatment in detail and what to expect, im glad i found her. definitely recommend her to family n friends

my kids were very comfortable at this dentist place, all the staff and doctor were patient with all my kids, definitely we will return back to this office. also there is no waiting time, we were seen in timely manner, without having to wait in the waiting area too much. the office is clean and well kept. very reasonable pricing too.

My son had his cleaning done today and was very happy with his experience. He's normally apprehensive and nervous when going to the dentist and was pleasantly surprised with Dr.Tamkenath and her bedside manner. Would definitely recommend her to anyone.
