Clifford Sondrup Graduated From The University of Utah with a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry. After which he continued his education, completing his DDS degree from the School of Dentistry, also at the University of Utah. His clinical experience includes working at the South Main, Dixie Hygiene, Wakara, Greenwood, and Liberty Clinics all in SLC. He also works with elemetary schools across the state to bring essential care to disadvantaged children.
Dr. Sondrup is an avid student of languages. He is always working to improve his skills in French, Spanish, German, and ASL. He applies these skills to expand his understanding of humanity in his personal life, and better serve his patients professionally.
'I grew up in the Utah Hive. I have pioneer blood that has deeply shaped me. I have lived all up and down the state, which has built my appreciation of the natural and human wealth of Utah. I am now fully clear on my desire to love, live, and work in the capitol city. I 'm hoping to build a tight community of patients during my career here and use that success to pursue peripheral projects such as humanitarian work, innovation in dental technology and delivery of care, and additional business ventures that support my ethics and values.
We try to alleviate this by offering low prices and payment plans for those who choose this as an option. Simply request a payment installment option and we can talk about what is a good weekly, bi-weekly or monthly amount for you to pay. This is all done internally so you don't have to pay interest or servicing fees. We will then send you emails with an invoice to pay until the balance is fulfilled. We understand that some costs are better payed in portions. Many of our services patients find affordable enough to pay at the time of service.
The below applies to patients who have already made payments and have established clear intention and ability to pay. This is determined by 100% on time payments of a minimum of 1 and verified email address. All other individuals will be required to pay at the date of service.
Balances from >500 must be paid half up front. If the remaining balance balance is less than 500 the prior rule will be applied. Remaining balance above 500 must be paid in 3 payments within 3 months.

THEE BEST DENTIST EVER!!......Dr. Sondrup has changed the dental game forever! Thankyou so much Dr. Sondrup for being patient with my dental issue as well as being very attentive and you actually listened to what I had to say and what my concerns were, with my irritated tooth, and or teeth. I called late on a wednesday evening just knowing I wouldnt be able to find a dentist who would be able to see me until the next morning. BOY was I wrong! Dr. Sondrup saw me at 8pm that evening and all has been well ever since. I truly appreciate you Dr. Sondrup for being so good at what you do, for being so professional, for being painless, and above all just being available 24hrs a day. I've never had a better experience with a Dentist than I have with Dr. Sondrup. Genuine, direct and the way he honestly is looking out for his patients best interest truly blew me away. I've found my family dentist.

Took my kids for a checkup today. They were a little nervous, but Dr Sondrup took extra time to make sure they felt welcome and comfortable in the office. He was super thorough and answered all of our questions! Will definitely be coming back!

I highly recommend Sundrop Dental Clinic. I had a tooth emergency over the weekend and couldn't get into my regular dentist until the following week. I reached out to Dr. Sondrop late on a Sunday afternoon and within an hour and a half my very infected tooth was extracted and I was home. I am currently undergoing chemo treatment and Dr. Sondrop was attentive to my dental needs and coordinated care with my cancer care team. He was thoughtful and thorough and made the experience as painless and quick as possible.

This guy is a legend! No bells and whistles, just straight to the point and did an incredible job. I didn't realize how many corners the average dentist cuts until I saw how much time Dr. Sondrup took to do things right. Not only that, but my wife and I were almost rolling on the ground laughing cause of the conversation we had with him. He's literally a legend, there's not another dentist like him.

I am more than impressed with today's technology and find that it makes my experience in the office easier and more comfortable. Dr. Sondrup is very professional and has a great deal of expertise. Dr. Sondrup and assistant Jude came to the rescue. Had a horrible toothache and They were able to schedule me in on SUNDAY, within 2 hours of calling. They were caring and calming. Quick, but through and professional. They definitely gained 2 new clients today.

I came across Dr. Sondrup after a frantic search on Google for dentists who work past 2pm on Fridays, after experiencing a dental emergency with an urgent need for help. I was stunned to see Dr. Sondrup's 24 hour availability, with flawless reviews -- I was skeptical going in, only because it seemed too good to be true. (Plus, the fact that the only dentist featured on Sundrop Dental's profile seemed to look like a stock photo model made everything even more sus) All to say: Dr. Sondrup was everything we came for and then some, and then more (including looking like a stock photo model in real life). He was delightful in every way, truly professional, and had the wittiest sense of humor that had me in tears. He took his time to get everything right, and was a true expert in guiding me through his process. He made my day with his professionalism, accessibility in working the oddest hours, and his uncanny ability to bring a smile out (how fitting!). My husband and I did not have a set dentist before Dr. Sondrup, but now we do. We will be back!

Outstanding service and very welcoming staff. We were helped at 5:30am, and within an hour the tooth extraction. The visit was a lot more affordable than expected. I will be coming back for future checkups. As someone who hasn't seen the dentist in years this was a huge blessing, I didn't think would be possible without going broke.

The absolute best dental office! I was taken care of late in the night (12am) due to a painful tooth and headache. Dr. Clifford Sondrup DDS was quick to come and help me, and was super friendly! I had zero pain during and after procedure. Will definitely go back for any dental work

I was able to call and get ahold of someone quite quickly, he was able to answer my questions and get me in asap. Sondrup (Cliff) is a great listener and was very understanding with my situation; along with being extremely patient while explaining what needed to be done and what my options were. He was efficient and precise when it came down to which insurance would be the best for the dental work being done, so my partner and I didn't have to pay a large sum out of our pockets. He walked me through the whole process and took as many breaks as I needed. The location was easy to find, enter, and leave. Overall I would recommend Clifford Sondrup and SunDrop Dental Clinic to family and friends.

Came on the recommendations of my brother who had had a great experience here. Dr sondrup helped save me a lot of money by advising carefully one what work to get done now, what can wait, what the risks of waiting are, etc. I've never been able to get so much of a dentists time for a consult on what to do for mouth health. When I came here I was expecting my bad teeth to be on the way to a bunch of crowns but the dentist helped me understand I can actually reverse current issues and avoid a lot of crowns. I also felt that he had a really strong attention to detail, because I hate when I feel pressured to finish the appointment but the fit of a filling still feels off. dr sondrup took as much time as I needed to be comfortable. This is a small dentistry office and you get all of the dentists attention. I felt like I got a ton of expert mouth health work for a really affordable price.

I absolutely recommend Sundrop Dental! The location is ideal, the office is inviting & professional, and Dr.Sondrop does really intentional & personal work. No cutting corners, or "next in line" attitude that I've experienced in other offices. He took the time to really find solutions for any and all issues or questions I had about my dental health. Dr. Sondrup is a competent dentist and gives off genuine vibes of authenticity. He is thorough in his treatment planning and direct about what needs to happen to accomplish your long term oral health goals. From a bird's eye view, I realize that a lot of people do not look forward to going to the dentist and even avoid it and I understand. However, If the reasons are mostly about trust then I know Dr. Sondrup would certainly be a dentist to visit if you're currently looking for one. His priorities are focused on forming long term relationships with his patients and it shows through the way he talks, how he runs his clinic, and how he performs dentistry. In addition to his ability in articulating himself, Dr. Sondrup is also good at listening and I usually find myself having real back and forth conversations with him, rather than just being lectured. He is definitely not a 'yes man' either and I view that as a good thing. He will let you know if what you think about a certain 'thing' is wrong and will explain his reasoning. He also allows you to explain your reasoning and it hardly ever feels one sided. Talking to Dr. Sondrup has broadened many of my perspectives about how I view healthcare and I appreciate that. Overall, I would recommend Dr. Sondrup to anyone looking for a genuine person that can also be trusted with their oral health.

I had a very positive experience at Sundrop after avoiding the dentist for 4 years. Dr. Sondrup has a very calming presence and helped me understand what I can be doing that will help me extend the life of the fillings he gave me. He also spent time with me trying to help me understand what I can be doing better to curb my sugar/ bad food habits, which is the first time a dentist has taken the time to give me encouragement like that. I especially love the fact that I'm not one of many patients being seen at one time, like I'm used to at other dentists. Being able to walk in and have his attention the entire time I was at my appointment was a breath of fresh air.

I met Dr. Sondrup at a ski movie where he gave me his card. My dental regime leaves much to be said, and my friends practically forced me to book an appt, taking this random business card as a sign. Well maybe it was! I haven't attended the dentist in YEARS, but have already scheduled next year's appointment. Dr. Sondrup is skilled, practical, and actually explains why dentists do what they do through each step of the visit. I wasn't scared or uneasy due to his communication skills. He worked hard to make me feel so comfortable. He evidently knows and cares about my oral health and me as a person. I think this is one of the most impactful health care providers I have had the pleasure of meeting. As a clinical research associate, I've met quite a few, so this compliment is not one made lightly. I count myself fortunate to be in his care. I'm recommending him to all my friends due to his transparency and evident knowledge of dental practice. Thanks Cliff!
