We believe in a specialized treatment coordinator that will walk your through the process from the beginning. This person ensures all your needs are communicated and met. Your team does not end there. Every patient is also assigned a specialized surgical assistant, an insurance coordinator and in some cases a licensed anesthesiologist.
Dr. Nicholson is a board-certified periodontist. He attended the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry. Following completion of his dental training, he next pursued a specialty in periodontics at the University of Oklahoma Graduate Periodontics program. Here he completed his three year residency with a certificate in periodontics. During his residency he also completed a masters program during which he earned the graduate student association award for outstanding academic achievement.
Board certification is a choice and symbol that represents a level of commitment to care that is second to none. Board certification is not a requirement to practice periodontics following a three year residency. Dr. Nicholson chose to complete his board certification to ensure his knowledge and skill set met or exceeded the highest levels of care that have been established in the field of periodontics.

Kes is thrilled to now be a member of the Sundance Implant & Periodontal Center team. She began working in the dental field in 1996 as a dental assistant then continued her education at Salt Lake Community College. She graduated with highest honors and a degree in Dental Hygiene. She takes great pride in patient care and continuing education. What she enjoys most is the relationships formed with patients cared for in the office, providing an exceptional experience for every patient and having a great team atmosphere.
Lexi graduated from the Utah Valley University Dental Hygiene program with her Bachelors degree, after three years of experience in the dental field. As a dental hygienist, her focus is on providing high quality care to patients as well as emphasizing the importance of good oral hygiene. She is committed to making patients, both old and new, feel comfortable at our office and helps them have a positive experience by working with them to formulate patient-centered treatment plans. Lexi is also bilingual, and enjoys being able to provide a means of clear communication for patients who speak either English or Spanish.
Kes and Lexis role in patient care at Sundance Implant and Periodontics is unique. It is rare to have the level of education and experience that they posses partnering with patients in all aspects of their care. Their role is to aid in the comfort and education of all of our patients as they enter and leave the practice back to the referring office. They are critical in alignment of oral health values with our patients to ensure that our patients priorities and oral health goals are met. In short, both Kes and Lexi are amazing patient advocates for your best oral health.

Dr Nicholson and his team are the BEST!! This is the most efficient, well run, caring and professional dental office I have ever been to. You are welcomed with big smiles, kind words and an offer for something to drink. The office is beautifully decorated with a modern flair and state of the art equipment yet you feel warmth. From the moment you meet Dr. Nicholson, you know you are in great hands. He is warm and jovial. His work on point. My husband and I are happy patients. We appreciate all of you. I have sent my daughter, father-in-law and mother-in-law to Dr. Nicholson. From a gum graft to implants it was a great experience! They were very kind and professional. A "first" class experience.

I went to Sundance Implant 5 years ago. This was the worst decision I have ever made. I wanted 8 implants, full mouth needed to be done. I was bullied into 11 implants which I was told would be better. Now I have one implant that has failed and is putting stress on the other implant on my bottom left side. Here is the worst part, he changed my bite, which means the way the teeth fit in my mouth is so wide I am not able to chew my food or keep it from shooting out the side of mouth when I attempt to eat. I am repeatedly chocking on my food because of this. Do your research and go somewhere else. I have been met with nothing but arrogance and lack of professionalism from this office. Then they offered to help me for more money instead of fixing the problem I now have to deal with because of? Do your research

First of all, when you come here they make you feel like both a celebrity and their best friend! I can not even begin to express how much I love this office. I have severe dental anxiety, and my mouth is in pretty bad shape. I was unbelievably nervous but even after my first visit I was completely relieved! They were 100% focused on me, my needs, and my treatment. Everything was laid out for me and extremely transparent, including the cost. They were both positive and realistic about my treatment plan which is extremely important, and they did not make me feel rushed at all. They answered my million questions repeatedly with out ever getting annoyed. I've still got a ways to go with my mouth but I have no doubt I found the absolute best team possible to help me through!

Aside from how Dr. Nicholson, and his staff, went above and beyond numerous times, what blew me away is how so many staff members remembered me by name. At first I thought they must have been memorizing a daily roster, but one day I got there about 15 minutes before they opened, and as I sat in the waiting room at least two nurses arrived to work, and greeted me by name. As much as I hope I will never need their services again, I will miss them!

If i cold give this dental center 10 stars I would. 65 years of visiting multiple dentist while serving 24 years in the US Navy all over the world this is my top pick. Kess did the most painless back corner mouth numbing shot ever. I did not feel a thing. I kept waiting for my toes to wiggle from the shock wave of pain but "nothing". She said she was finished I did not believe her at first. Office staff is super friendly, the place is so clean one can literally bring lunch and eat off the floor with no plates...I mean it! I had a dental implant go bad from "Grandpas Dental" Orem. The price was great at the time but not after one considers all the issues I have had since. Constant Food Impaction, Infected Implant Post , weeks of pain after the implant. Never again. Yah pretty much get what you pay for.

I highly recommend going in to see Dr. Nicholson and the rest of the team at Sundance Implant and Periodontal Center. They are professional, helpful, and very friendly. I've been happy with my results and have had hardly any pain at all. Overall, I had a great experience and can easily give these guys a 5 star review!

I had an implant done and was nervous because I'm such a baby with pain. Sundance implant and periodontal center made the experience effortless for me with very little discomfort. I would use them again in a heartbeat. They were friendly yet professional and I even enjoyed going back for follow up just to visit with them. They treated me like family. The implant procedure went very well with no side effects or problems. Dr. Nicholson is the best! If I could give more than five stars I would

We had an incredible experience with Dr. Nicholson! I was super nervous because my daughter needed a skin graft and a lip tie and a tongue tie cut. The office staff was so nice, scheduling was great, Dr. Nicholson was fabulous, as well as the anaesthesiologost, and recovery was amazing! I would definitely recommend this office, especially for kids. They were amazing to work with!

I went with Sundance for my gum graft surgery and I couldn't be happier with my decision! Dr. Nicholson and his team are so attentive and welcoming with every visit, the center itself is beautiful and well organized. I'm very happy with the results of my gum graft, as well as customer service I was shown along the way. I highly recommend Dr. Nicholson and his team especially if you are nervous about the process like I was originally. Him and his team were there to answer all my questions and address any of my concerns. Thanks Sundance!

Dr. Nicholson and his staff are amazing! I had a horrible experience with a pervious periodontist and was nervous to have to see one again and to find a good one. My dentist recommended Dr. Nicholson and I'm so glad he did. They go above and beyond to make sure you are informed on what's going on, to work with you on payments and insurance, and making sure you are comfortable throughout the whole process. They are even willing to see you in between follow up appointments if there's any trouble or you have any concerns through the healing process. I highly recommend this amazing office!

Such professionalism! From the minute I walked in the door to my final visit 3 months later, the employees and Dr. we're amazing. There was no pain and my comfort was a great concern to them as I had my implant. Everything was explained in great detail and instructions sent home with me. I highly recommend!

I feel that I was very fortunate to find Dr Nicholson at Sundance Implant and Periodontal center. I have a metal allergy and was in need of someone close by to do Zirconia implants for me. Not only did I find Dr Nicholson was in Provo, Utah which was very close by, but Sundance and the Periodontal services were very affordable as well. I had three implants to have done in one session and choose not to do the sedation, so I was very nervous about the procedure, however my mind was quickly eased by everyone taking great care that I was comfortable and did not experience any pain. It felt very comforting that I was in the the good hands of Dr Nicholson's specialized skills for the implants. The procedure was fast and easy and I was very grateful. I feel you will love Sundance implant and Periodontal modern facility an up-to-date technology. Dr Nicholson was great. His awesome staff are helpful and very friendly. Definitely five stars
