Practicing dentistry is something I have always wanted to do.Ialways admired my dad as a kid, and working with him for almost a decade only heightenedthat admiration.I have had the opportunity to meet so many wonderful people, and the friendships that Ive built with my patients and their families are the real day-to-day reward that this career has provided.

Early on, I decided to focus on working with patients to figure out a plan that would improve or maintain theirquality of life.Once we figure that out, we take the appropriate steps to meet their goals.

Before starting my career at Suncook Dental, I studied at Villanova University, where I received a degree in comprehensive science (basically, a degree in chemistry and biology). I trained as a dental technician for two years under the tutelageof certified dental technicians Armand and Michael Auger, and earned my Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine.

I am a member of several professional associations that provide opportunities for continuing education, including the American Dental Association, the New Hampshire Dental Society, the Massachusetts Dental Society, the Greater Concord Dental Society (of which I have served aspast president twice), the New England Dental Society (of which I have served as president and board member), and the Capital Area study club; and I serve on the Allied Dental Education board at the New Hampshire Technical Institute.

What I love most about dentistry is that is it the ultimate fusion of science, medicine, and art. Artistry has always been a big part of my life in the form of drawing, playing musical instruments, and music composition. As a dentist, I thoroughly enjoy integrating my artistic influences in the treatment I provide for my patients.

I am a proud native of Goffstown NH. I received my undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences, and graduated Summa Cum Laude at the University of NH. Next, I went on to receive my dental degree, and graduated Magna Cum Laude at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, where I was also granted membership with the dental honors society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon. Shortly after graduation, my family and I relocated to Bangor, Maine where I completed a residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry at Penobscot Community Health Center.

During my time in residency, not only did I enjoy gaining more clinical experience, working with great faculty, but I particularly enjoyed getting to know the community in Bangor, while caring for their diverse dental needs. Now having relocated back to my home state, I look forward to getting to know the greater Suncook community and building long-lasting relationships while committing to provide a high standard of quality care to people of all ages.

Being involved in professional organizations is important to me. I am currently a member of the American Dental Association, The Academy of General Dentistry, Maine Dental Association, and NH Dental Society. Outside of my professional life, I enjoy my time being a husband, and father of two teens, playing a variety of musical instruments, summiting mountains, cycling, and running.

Since 1977 Dr. Albee had the opportunity to meetmany wonderful people, and the friendships that hebuilt with countless patients and their families are all one in a million. It wasalways his focus to make patients feel at home when they came to ourofficefor treatment, and heworkeddiligently to give everyone the attention they deserved. This is a lesson that all of us will not soon forget.

Not a native (born in Connecticut and raised in Vermont), Dr. Albeehas lived in the Granite State since 1966. Hes a graduate of Manchesters Central High School, received his bachelors degree in zoology from the University of New Hampshire, and earned his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Tufts UniversitySchool of Dental Medicine.

Dr. Albee is a member of several professional associations that provide himwith opportunities for continuing education. He is a member of and has served in all leadership positions for the Greater Concord Dental Society, the New Hampshire Dental Society, and the New England Dental Society; and he has served as a delegate to the American Dental Associations House of Delegates. He is also the founding president of the New Hampshire Dental Society Foundation, which is the philanthropic arm of the society.

Dr. Albee served for ten years on the New Hampshire Board of Dental Examiners, which is the licensing and disciplinaryagency for dentists and dental hygienist. He served two years as the board president. He is also an examiner with the Commission on Dental Competency Assessments, which examines dentists across the country for licensing. Dr. Albee is a founding member of the NH Prescription Drug Monitoring Program Advisory Council, a program integral to our states drug abuse and diversion efforts.

Dr. Albee lives in Pembroke with his wife, Dolly. He has three grown children, twins Andrew and Matthew and daughter Jillian. Andrew (Dr. Andrew of Suncook Dental) and his wife, Jennifer, live in Pembroke with their four boys, Cooper, Jack, Charlie and Harry. Matthew lives in Campton with his wife, Rene, and their son Whitaker. Jillian (Dr. Jillian, another dentist) and her husband, Blake, live in Indianapolis, Indiana with their two children, Stevie and Crew. In his free time, Doctor Albeeenjoys time with family, exploring his family tree and world travel.

Dr. Albee feelstruly blessed to have lived and worked in such a wonderful community. Heenjoyedgetting to know his patients and their families, and it is such an honor to know he has made a difference in so many of his patientslives. Dr. Albee couldnt ask for a better job or for better people to share their smiles.

We are all unique team members and patients and we see this as a great benefit to our office and our lives in general. One thing we have in common is that we are all pleased to welcome you and your family and look forward to working with you!

We have 2 dental providers and needed a $3000.00 procedure. We asked very clearly and they gave it to us in a writtin letter that we would be all set, as both would cover half. That did not turn out to be the case and now we owe 1500. When fixing their mistake they treated my wife like she was a dead beat and proceeded to charge interest while we tried to fix it with the insurance. Yes she was told she had to have this fixed before she could finish the rest of her procedure. We'll I fixed it and will not return. The dentistry isn't the greatest but not bad. Not worth the hassle. I would rather drive right by, for good service.

Said I never showed up to an appointment that I never made so they kicked me out of the practice. Very unfortunate because I've been going here for years and so does all my family.

Today I had a very uncomfortable situation with the "office manager" Tammy that ended in her yelling that she would cancel my relationship with Suncook dental and hung up on me before it could be resolved. I called today because unfortunately I had to cancel my appointment last minute which I hate doing. Tammy seemed very upset by this and told me 5 times that you require 48 hours notice and was very short with me. I was fine paying the $75 fee, it was not a big deal. I called back however because of the text message I was sent, stating that 'no reason was given'. I was confused because I was never once asked for a reason. I called back to see if having a reason would help (no harm in asking right?) and to let someone know of my awkward and uncomfortable conversation with Tammy, and how she hadn't asked me for a reason. When I called back I was again greeted by Tammy. I asked for a manger and was told she was the office manager. All I wanted was to have someone call me back or to speak to someone else, I was told "no". I just wanted to feel my complaint was heard. I asked for a number of someone higher up and was told there was no one higher up than the office manager Tammy. I was confused and could hear her getting more and more frustrated with me as I tried to get any contact information from her and was told no. We went back and forth before i realized she did not want to help me. I tried to be frank with her and said "look if your upset with me I'm happy to just call back later at a different time and have someone else help me." she told me that wouldn't be necessary as she was closing out my relationship with Suncook dental. I was shocked and confused at what had just happened and how I ended up here. She had already hung up on me before I could even respond. I am not a confrontational person so this whole situation was very difficult for me. I am 26 years old and have been going to Suncook Dental since I was a child. I love the staff and the environment. I happily drive 35 minutes to go there because I love it. I had Dr Albee senior as a dentist before he retired and Andrew Albee for many years. I don't want to close out my relationship with you. But I also don't feel comfortable going to a dentist office where I will be yelled at when I have to cancel an apt or denied when I ask to speak to a manager. I hope no one else is ever treated the way I was by Tammy. So disappointed.

Was a huge fan, but after mismanagement of their billing department I've been left less than satisfied.

I have been going to Suncook Dental for 10+ years, I have always lived local to Suncook Dental but moved to Tilton NH 2 years ago and I still go to Suncook. I never used to like going to the dentist I dreaded it but I can honestly say I love going to the dentist. The staff is fun and "real" everyone is so friendly, I feel like they honestly care about your dental care and hygiene. If you don't like going to the dentist give them a try.
