Excellent staff and does great work. I have moved away from this location but willing to drive the extra miles just to stay here. I have been with this dentistry for a long time and have been through a lot of changes. Staff have changed, decor have changed, but the service level remains excellent.

I still come here even since moving to Cottage Grove because the people are so nice. When I brought my 4 month old to my last appointment the lady at the front desk offered to keep him with her during my appointment since he was cold and she had a heater. I was late but the staff were so patient and took turns holding my baby for me :)

During a dental cleaning/checkup I was told by the dentist that there were small dark spots on 2 of my teeth that needed to be drilled and filled. The dentist even asked the dental hygienist if she had seen the spots too, to which she nodded yes. The dentist also shared with me that another dentist at the practice, whom I hadn't seen in a year, had been monitoring these spots. I found that comment quite odd as he had never mentioned them to me before. Nevertheless, I scheduled an appointment to have the spots drilled and filled. Due to a scheduling conflict I ended up having to cancel. The receptionist was less than pleasant when I called to cancel the appointment when I wouldn't agree to reschedule it. I was told by the receptionist that these cavities needed to be taken care of as they will only get worse/bigger. Fast forward 6 months to my next dental cleaning/checkup and the same dentist was now telling me I had no cavities and she thought my teeth looked good. Say what!!?? This was the same dentist who 6 months prior told me I had spots on my teeth that needed to be drilled and filled. The same dentist who told me that another dentist I saw prior was monitoring these spots. I guess my teeth are magical in that they can spontaneously heal themselves of dark spots/cavities all on their own. Needless to say, I switched dental practices.

I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Ali. I hadn't been to the dentist in a long time, and she and the hygienists made me feel very comfortable. I ended up needing extensive work, and Dr. Ali never made me feel bad for putting off the dentist, instead she gave me advice about how to take better care of my teeth. The office staff is all wonderful as well. Overall, it was a great experience and I would recommend my Dr. and the clinic to anyone who asked. I'm very happy with my new smile!

I had pain in my jaw and anxiety was making it almost unbearable. I called to ask about my concerns and Dr Ali got me in the very next morning. She evaluated me and made me feel better about my issues. I am so glad that I switched to this dental office!!

If you have high anxiety disorder like myself, this is the place for you!! What I can tell you is that the atmosphere is inviting and filled with ZEN and CALM!! ALL staff members from the gals up front and on are, welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable, professional and, very compassionate!! If you have a dental emergency after hours, be reassured that your doctor DOES call you back no matter what time of day or night that you call!! Thank you to ALL staff members for your continued and compassionate caring for all my dental needs!!

Love love love the staff at Sunray Family Dental. They are kind and super personable. Even though I've only been there a handful of times, they remember my story, my family and even where I work! I am also absolutely in love with the office decorations and layout. My favorite dental hygienists are Maggie and Michelle! :)

My son and I both recently had our exams and cleaning done here. The staff were all friendly, Michelle Reynolds, a newly hired hygienist is super friendly and Dr. Ali took the time to go through and give great advise in some areas of concern I had. A smile is worth a million bucks and I enjoy getting my smile taken care of here at Sun Ray Family Dental.

I thought they were ok- nothing stellar but not bad at all. However, I received a phone call one day stating that I had an outstanding charge. They did not explain what it was, but said they had been sending me bills. I told them I had not received a bill. They verified my address and they had been sending it to my work address. Due to COVID, I have been working from home since March, so clearly, I did not receive what they had been sending out. Also, I never authorized them to send any correspondence to my work address. I made a payment arrangement with payments each check until the beginning of the year, when I would pay the balance. I had to call my insurance company to find out the source of the charge, apparently a gas charge was not paid for by my insurance. In the meantime, I ended up getting COVID and was unable to leave my home to get a money order from the bank- the method which I pay all of my bills. As soon as I was released from quarantine, I sent them the payment with a note on the back that I had been sick with COVID and if they needed evidence, I would be happy to provide it. My next interaction from them came in the form of a debt collection letter. I was prepared to pay the full amount to them. Now they've sold the debt to a debt collector for pennies on the dollar. I will pay the debt collector the full amount to keep it off my credit and Sun Ray is the party who actually looses out. Stay away.

I went to this clinic about 6 months ago, my dentist was a lady. Sorry I can't remember her name, but she was Fantastic!! The office is nice ad cozy, the Receptionist was so kind and welcoming. So this week I get a call reminding ne that It was time for another cleaning, which wouldn't cost me anything, insurance would cover the cost. I'm so glad that they informed me, because I was unaware. I think that they are doing a wonderful job, and I'll be returning to the dental clinic for all dental needs . I will also recommend them to friends and family.

I really enjoy visiting the Dentist, especially at SunRay Family Dental!! The reason is simple, the Dentists are top notch, my Hygienist is the best around! I find the office staff to be ever so helpful! Try it, you'll be glad you did! Laura Davenport (Holweger).
