The aspect I enjoy most about being a dentist is not only the diversity of interesting challenges I encounter on a daily basis, but the opportunities I have for improving my patients lives. Improving someones oral health and smile may change their appearance, but it can also change the way they feel about their self-worth, their confidence and their overall sense of well-being.
Dr. Shainal Nagar was born and raised in Johannesburg, South Africa. He received a Bachelor of Dental Science (BDS) degree in South Africa in 2006. He practiced dentistry for two years in South Africa. Shortly thereafter heemigrated to the United States where heearned a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree at University of Illinois at Chicago in 2011.
Dr Shainal Nagar has always had a commitment to lifelong learning. He was recently awarded a fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD) and has already begun working towards obtaining his mastership in the AGD.
Dr Nagar was born and raised in Johannesburg, South Africa. She received her Dental degree in South Africa in 2006, before coming to the USA. She then earned her Dental degree at University of Illinois at Chicago. Since completing dental school, Dr Nagar has been practicing general dentistry in the Metro Atlanta region.
Every patient has their own dental needs and desires, and Dr. Nagar strives to provide a comfortable, enjoyable, and personal visit for each patient. Dr. Nagar hopes to ensure that every patient realizes the full potential of their smile, and strives to provide them with a new outlook on life.
Dr. Nagar is committed to lifelong learning, and carries on her pursuit of excellence by her continued involvement in continuing education courses. Dr. Nagar has a special interest in Dental Sleep Medicine, and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine (ABDSM), the only non-profit professional association dedicated exclusively to the practice of dental sleep medicine. Dr. Nagar helps treat snoring and obstructive sleep apnea with oral appliance therapy, an effective treatment that is covered by most insurance plans. ABDSM membership provides Dr.Nagarwithaccess to educational resources and practice management tools that help herbetter serve her patients by providing the highest quality of care in the treatment of snoring and obstructive sleep apnea.
