Dr. Yong Sun was raised in Dongtai, China. He graduated from Nanjing University with a B.S. (1982) and M.S. (1985) in Biology. After moving to the United States, Dr. Sun obtained his Ph.D. in Ecology at the University of Kansas (1993). He then relocated to Philadelphia and obtaining his Dental Degree at Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry (2000). His practices in King of Prussia and Chadds Ford have successfully treated patients for over 20 years. Dr. Sun has spent his career dedicated to the improvement and maintenance of oral health.
Dr. Angela Sun was raised in Montgomery County, PA where she was exposed to dentistry at an early age at her father's practice. She entered the combined 7 year Bio-Dental program with Lehigh University in conjunction with the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Sun graduated from Lehigh University with a B.A. in Biology in 2014. She then attended the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine and obtained her Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry in 2018. She works in King of Prussia with her father and mentor, Dr. Yong Sun.

I have been Dr. Sun's patient for 10+ years. I only had great experiences, very painless. I just had 3 implants done several days ago. I didn't feel anything during the 2 hrs. of procedure and after it was done, amazingly no pain, nothing, I didn't even need to take ibuprofen. I only have to take Amoxicillin every 8 hours. He will also attach crowns in 4-5 months after the healing process. Dr. Angela Sun was also very great with assisting Dr Young Sun during such a delicate implants procedure. I highly recommend their dental practice.

Just got my teeth cleaned today here. This place is quite clean, and doctors are friendly. During the process, I felt very comfortable, and they definitely have the knowledge to my concerns. No complaints.

Very amazing service . I had Angela and she was thorough and informative and down to earth friendly. It was clean and welcoming and I will be returning hopefully for the invasalign for my slight overbite and even teeth whitening.

Today was my first visit to Sun Dental P.C. I had a great experience and have now found my new dentists. Dr. Yong Sun helped me to schedule my first appointment approximately two weeks ago. He took my call after hours and fully accommodated me. Dr. Angela Sun performed my cleaning today and she was excellent. She was quick, efficient, and kind. The price for the initial X-rays and subsequent cleaning was reasonable. The building is very nice and clean as well. They are out of network for me, but I couldn't care less. I highly recommend this office.

The Drs. Sun are highly skilled and detail-oriented dentists that excel at tailoring their care to fit the needs of their patients. Their small operation gives them an element of flexibility and personal connection that many of the other more corporate dental offices in the area lack. Especially with their convenient weekend hours and their affordable payment options for those without dental insurance, I would highly recommend choosing them for your dental needs!

My husband and I have been going to this place for almost two years now. Recently we just paid a visit for check up and cleaning. The doctors are geared up with PPE and the place is cleaned and sanitized. The waiting time was short and they get you right in when you arrive. I highly recommend this practice for all dental needs.

I've been going to Sun Dental for 10+ years and I highly recommend! It's a great family practice with a convenient KOP location, newly renovated facilities & plenty of parking. Both Dr. Suns (father and daughter) are very kind and knowledgable. I've had cleanings, fillings, x-rays, etc done here and they are always so professional, caring, and efficient!

The Suns have taken care of my teeth while delivering care in a personable and professional manner. They have done construction recently to improve the layout of the practice, and so you can be assured of a soothing experience, which for dentistry is quite the accomplishment.
