Dr. Muy Suns philosophy on dental care goes beyondjust filling a broken tooth or relieving symptoms. She seeksto improve and maintain oral health, to bring out the beautiful smile in all of us, and to build each patients personal confidence. Communication with patients is of great importance to her: she listens to each patients needs, provides personalized and quality dental care, and together with the patient, helps to achieve individualized treatment goals.
Dr. Sun received her Bachelor of Science and Doctorate of Dental Surgery from theUniversity of Washington, which is consistently ranked among the top ten dental programs in the country. Dr. Sun chose dentistry as a profession because she had a great dentist as a child and wanted people to experience the same positive experience she had.
While in dental school, she volunteered and worked in the dental program serving patients with dental anxiety and disabilities. Her passion included working with children, which inspired her to work at a community clinic dedicated to underserved children before pursuing her own private practice.

Welcome to Sun Dental Design! My name is Andrea and I am the voice you hear on the phone and the first person you see when you come in the front door. I began my dental career over 23 years ago as a registered dental assistant and worked side by side with Dr. Sun since 2005 as a registered dental assistant.
I have grown children and 2 dogs that keep me active and happy! I love getting up early on Saturday morning and going for coffee! I enjoy spending time with friends and family, trying new and interesting foods, and going to the movies and hanging out at the local dog parks. I look forward to meeting you!
I grew up in New Mexico and received my BS in Microbiology from the New Mexico State University. I moved to the Pacific Northwest to attend the hygiene program at Shoreline Community College, graduating with high honors in 2004. I have called Edmonds home since 1997.
As a part of Dr. Suns dental team, I am committed in staying on top of the latest products and procedures that contribute to the well-being of our patients. I enjoy meeting and working with patients in a positive environment that promotes total body health and happiness through customized patient education and outstanding care.
I am truly excited to be able to provide exceptional care in a non-judgmental and empowering manner, encouraging patients to take ownership of their own personal health. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time in the great outdoors with my wonderful husband, two children, family, and friends. I also love cycling (both road and indoor), cooking (spicy foods!), traveling, and learning about other cultures.
My mom, who was once a dental assistant, and a hygienist friend of mine got me interested in dental hygiene while I was still in high school (Ingraham, right here in the area). I took my prerequisites and entered dental hygiene school the following year. I graduated in 1973 and worked for three years before starting our family.
I have worked in this office since 1983. I enjoy my job and have loved following the lives of my patients and their families. I also love to see the patients excited to see their pocket numbers improve and bleeding spots lessen. It is great to see them learn new techniques and take pride in their oral health!
I have been married for more than 40 years to my high school sweetheart. We have three wonderful kids and six grandkids. Our family loves the great outdoors and we have boated the San Juan Islands and Canadian waters since the kids were infants. Skiing, camping, hiking, and biking are also favorites. And I cant remember a time without a Zoo & Aquarium pass!
My name is Aly and unlike everyone else here in this office, I am the newest member! I was born and raised in Arlington, WA. I have always enjoyed going to the dentist as a child and this may be the reason for seeking a career in dentistry. I attended Lake Washington Institute of Technology in 2017 where I completed their dental assisting program. I enjoy spending my free time in the kitchen trying out new recipes. My two dogs also keep me pretty active!
My role as a dental assistant is to ensure that all our patients are comfortable during their visit and to assist my team members in making sure the office runs as smoothly as possible. My favorite part of my job is getting to know my patients and brightening their day in any way I can!
