I absolutely HATE the dentist due to bad experiences when I was a child. Dr. Hsu and his staff are amazing. They're very friendly and professional and make you feel as comfortable as possible. They patient with your concerns and are thorough in explaining everything going on and your treatment. I might actually learn to like going to the dentist!

I absolutely loved my visit here. They were able to see me very quickly for an emergency visit. When I got there, Cadee welcomed me and gave me such a cute gift bag and card they give to new patients. Leticia sat me down and took my x-rays and she was so easy to talk to, they all made me feel so comfortable and Dr Hsu explained very thoroughly what services needed to be done. I look forward to my next visit.

Updated: I started getting canker sores after wearing the night guard that was recommended by Dr. Hsu. After some online research, it turns out that it's really easy to get bacteria buildup and canker sores when you wear night guards. This was a care factor that wasn't mentioned in our visit. I've stopped wearing it since I don't notice myself clenching my jaw when I wake up, so the night guard might not be needed. If he recommends that you get a night guard, make sure you do some research and weigh the pros and cons before getting the custom fit one. Night guards are only a tool to make it harder for you to clench your teeth, but it doesn't necessarily stop the habit. For me, getting a contour memory foam pillow with great neck/shoulder support really helped with the relaxation of my muscles and jaw. Just make sure you're aware of whether you're clenching your teeth and tightening your jaw and learn to relax it--you might not need a night guard at all. Night guard carries bacterial/infection risks. --- Great experience! Modern equipment, thorough consultation, and a payment option for those who are out of network. Laeticia was an awesome dental assistant who was gentle and skilled. Dr. Hsu gave great home care advice and was able to diagnose the root cause of my gum recession and bone loss issue. No other dentist or periodontist I've gone to in the past three decades have been able to give me a good explanation for the bone loss and gum recession other than referring to oral care or genetics ( which were part of it).

Wonderful wonderful dentist. Can't say enough. The moment I walked in I realized this is not your average dentist office. Very kind and calm setting. No judgement just kind education. I have a heavy fear/trauma for going to the dentist as a child that normally sends my blood pressure thru the roof but today is was normal! That says a lot about them. The CSR, Dental hygienist, and dentist that I met were all wonderful. Found my long term dentist.

This is a great dentist office! The dentist and the staff are the best! They are very welcoming and kind and provide excellent service. The office is high-tech and modern and you get to watch Netflix during procedures. Also, the dentist is honest, does not recommend unnecessary procedures, and there is no wait time in the office. Couldn't ask for a better dentist. Thank you!

Great experience! Super clean clinic, wonderful staff and Dr. Hsu explained everything clearly. I didn't expect to change my appointment at my desired date, they remembered it and when there's availability they called me immediately. They prepared a welcome gift for all new patients. At the service room, the screen showed your name. No need to go to different room for X-ray, all in one room. The billing listed clearly the insurance and copayment. So glad my husband and I are their patients.

My previous Dentist closed their business in Folsom and I was searching for a new provider. I developed sensitivity in my tooth and was in immediate need for treatment. I googled and called few providers but their wait time was way too long. During my search process I called Sun Center Dentistry and had a chance to speak to Dr. Hsu. He was kind enough to squeeze me in. I had very bad experience with another Dentist in El Dorado Hills, in 2017 and I was very skeptical this time. But Dr. Hsu, examined and explained every bit of the problem, consequences and treatment. The procedure went smooth and pain is gone. He is my next go to Dentist... Thank you Dr. Hsu and entire Sun Center Dentistry team!! And to my surprise they gave me this gift bag and a personal note. Thank you again :)

I was cost sensitive and Dr. Hsu is willing to work with me and insurance. It's honest dentistry and billing. I'm glad to have changed dentist. It was an excellent experience as far as dentist goes. Highly recommended.

Dr.Hsu and Letecia are absolutely amazing! This by far was my best dental experience I have ever had. Everything was explained clearly and in detail and the office is clean and modern. I highly recommend them!!!

I was looking for a dental place with honest & gentle dentistry, and that's what I found at Sun Center Dentistry! The staff are very friendly and they talked me through every step during my appointment. They gave me a lovely welcome package and overall I had a great experience there!

Dr Hsu is an awesome dentist! Super nice guy that was very thoughtful and very careful to make sure I was always comfortable. Very Nice office with state of the art equipment and a TV on the ceiling to watch as he did his work. The office staff were super nice as well. I wasn't happy with the high pressure corporate dentistry at Smiles Dentistry that I went to previously, and I really appreciated having a dentist with his own practice that just likes practicing dentistry.

The entire experience from beginning to end was absolutely amazing. The entire staff is kind, patient and personable. The team is happy to answer questions and very transparent with both pricing and the work that you actually need done. I'm really happy that our friends referred us to an honest dentist and we look forward to being patients for years to come!

100% would recommend Sun Center Dentistry! The location is easy to find with 2 parking spots right in front just for patients. The inside is beautiful with an updated look and they have a small fridge with refreshments and coffee. The staff were friendly. I was greeted and helped as soon as I arrived, I was 15 minutes early and almost immediately taken to the back to get started. Every step if the process was explained in detail. They made sure I understood what they were doing and if treatment was needed what the process and cost would be. The room.has a big screen that greeted me by name and a TV on the ceiling for procedures! Very high tech and impressive. A very pleasant dental experience.
