I had upper dentures for two years, and I was tired of the glue and not being able to eat what I wanted. By luck, I found Sumter Landing Dental Care. Dr. Price gave me an excellent exam and determined that I was eligible for a full set of upper implants. The procedure took a few months, was a bit high in cost (actually a lot cheaper than anywhere else around), but I decided to go ahead. It was the best decision I ever made. Thank you Dr. Price, Corey, and the whole staff for treating me like a queen, and changing my life forever. Kathy Scala The Villages

I was new to Florida and the Villages, and finding Sumter Landing Dental who took my insurance was a relief. I had a bad toothache, and my tooth was cracked, I saw Dr. Price who did a great job of pulling my tooth and setting me for a temporary with very little pain. This was in October. Fast forward to March I have seen Dr. Patel for several different procedures and each time was great. I recently had an appointment, and I was very anxious because of the work needing to be done, Dr. Patel and his assistants (all the assistant I might add} were great. No more anxiety or pain. I have recommended this faculty to my brother who also sees Dr Patel. The faculty is clean, the staff very friendly and professional. I can't say enough about Sumter Landing Dental and want to thank everyone for their caring and professional manner

I am 63 and have never had issues with my teeth before. Dr. Price has fixed the problems I was having with 2 teeth as quickly and painlessly as I could have ever imagined. I am now back to my regular 6 month cleanings. I would highly recommend him and his staff.

Not familiar with the terms Upselling but I think I do now. Had a tooth ache and could not get an appointment for 10 days. A couple applications of Origel fixed the discomfort. When I got to me appointment it was 4 hours in the chair, 1 pulled tooth, crown preparation on two other teeth for a bridge and $2800. 10 weeks later I have a bridge that had changed my bite/contact and had an appointment at 9:00 am to day to had it looked at. Dentist had not arrived by 9:20 am, I left at 9:30. Time for a new dentist

I have an absolute fear of dentists, it makes my anxiety go sky high when I have had to go visit an dental office. I will say that my anxiety does not go as high as normal when I have to go see Dr. David Price and his staff. I needed to have all my teeth pulled due to medical problems that I have had and when they were making the molds for my dentures I got extremely sick due to a severe gag reflex, not one member of the office made me feel bad about this. They all have been so caring and wonderful and patience with me that I can honestly say that this dental office changed my life for the better.

I went in for root canal and crown which I knew I needed. I Was told I needed caps/ crowns on all my front teeth. The cost was to be close to 10,000. I declined this course of treatment. I Went in for crown install and was given the hard sell on the course of caps. I have talked to others with similar experiences. A neighbor who is a retired Dentist who owned 10 or so practices said this was suspect. My Latest experience they said I needed X-rays for a cleaning. I had just had them recently. I raised a stink then they said I didn't need them. Wife's cleaning went ok until they tried to treat for gingivitis with injections. I believe This was for another patient not her. I would give a half star if I could. I was told to find another dentist by one of the office staff. Dr evidently didn't have the nerve to do it himself. Beware of this practice. BTW ONE OF THE 5 star ratings was submitted by the office manager.

I never have written a review for a dentist. Now I know it is the right thing to do. After being hospitalized for 3 days with periodontitis and on IV antibiotics, I was given an emergency appointment at Lake Sumpter Dental. I needed dental clearance to get a pacemaker..Dr. Price agreed to see me. After 6 hours in the chair, I was given what I needed. He and staff, especially Cory, made this experience special.

My husband goes here for cleanings and they said he needed to have 2 crowns. Long story short the 2 temporary ones fell off twice. The permanent one he was at the office over 3 hours and when he returned home he said something wasn't right. His teeth felt odd now it is bothering him. Dr. Patel had told him to give it a couple of days. It has been 3 days and now his teeth are hurting, it is Friday they can not get him back in until Tuesday. This is what we paid 1800 dollars for! No one should have to go through a weekend of pain. To follow up on Tuesday with Dr Patel-he asked my husband why he didn't go in earleir and see Dr Price. Hresponded the girl at the front desk did not suggest he had an option. So this we can blame on the Front Desk staff for not helping. Dr. Patel has fixed his permanent so for now all is good

Just got back from Dentist. Had early appointment because my temporary crown fell off again. 5 out of the 5 people waiting outside were back because they were having problems withe the work they had done. Including myself, issues were as follows: 2 temporary crown fell off twice, two bridges were problematic (one had already been replaced once, and one person said she was unhappy with crowns that were too big and did not resemble her real teeth. That means that five rooms were taken up by "FREE" repair work, when they could have been filled by people paying for procedures. I am sure all prices reflect this cost. However, I have always been happy with staff and Dr. Price, but looking at issues above, they may have issues with their dental lab, which in turn reflect poorly on them. ,

I have been a patient since 2013. The staff are friendly and excellent. I have had implants and crowns and other dental services. The practice is clean and neat. Full COVID safeguards are in place.. A see Somattie and Dr Price and Patel and they are very caring and competent. Michelle and Jenn were very helpful working with my insurance. I would highly recommend them to my friends and family.

Went in after crown fell out and tooth had some decay. An exam and X-rays led to a recommendation of $10000+ work to fix crown but needed to crown all lower front teeth too. Told this had to be done. Worst upselling I have experienced. Fixed up north for 1k with new crown. Dental care in Villages is entrepreneurial. Use extreme caution here.
