Mark S. Jensen, DDSDr. Mark Jensen graduated with a Bachelors degree in biology from the University of Kansas in 1984. He then continued on to the University of Missouri at the Kansas City School of Dentistry, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree with distinction in 1988. Following graduation, Dr. Jensen completed a three-year general practice residency with the United States Navy Dental Corps. During this rewarding and challenging time, he worked primarily with Marines in the First Gulf War. He learned many of the skills he now uses every day by working with some of the finest clinicians anywhere.After completing his residency, Dr. Jensen moved back to Kansas City, his hometown. In 1992, he purchased this practice from a retiring doctor and developed the theme of Together, Dental Health for Life. While Dr. Jensen has practiced dentistry in the area for more than 20 years (and his practice has grown tremendously), he has never lost sight of what has led to every success he has had: caring for his patients as best as possible.
Dr. Jensen has extensive training in several areas of dental care, including cosmetic dentistry and oral surgery. He also continues his education in dentistry on a regular basis, maintaining all of the required continuing education for accreditation with the State of Kansas Dental Board. In addition, Dr. Jensen is a member of the American Dental Association, Kansas Dental Association and Fifth District Dental Society of the State of Kansas. Furthermore, his practice is accredited by the Better Business Bureau of Greater Kansas City.
Austin Stehl, DDSDr. Austin Stehl graduated from the University of Missouri-Kansas City in 2019. During his undergraduate studies before he became a dentist, he completed a masters degree in accounting at the University of Missouri. His biggest goal is to provide thorough, compassionate care to all his patients.He has been married to his wife, Kristen, for four years and they have a Husky named Leila. In his free time, Dr. Stehl enjoys fishing and cheering on the Chiefs, the Royals and the University of Missouri.
Chelsey Registered Dental HygienistChelsey graduated with honors in leadership and was Vice-President of her dental hygiene class. She strives for high-quality patient care and enjoys educating her patients to improve their oral health. Outside of the office, Chelsey enjoys spending time with her family and friends, sewing, and shopping.
Bri Dental AssistantBri has been assisting for over two years and could not find more joy from looking into other peoples mouths. She loves working with people of all sorts and is ready to put a smile on your face.In her spare time, she loves to be outdoors with a nice bonfire, watch movies, and spend time with her hubby, step kiddo and spunky cat.
Victoria Dental AssistantVictoria is here to help answer any questions you may have. She enjoys making our patients feel happy and welcomed. When she isnt working, she is loving on her little girl and spending time with her family.

One star is being generous. If this office ever opens again, DON'T go there. Mark Jensen pulled the rug out from under his patients, office staff & the other dentist in the practice by closing unexpectedly. This left my 84 year old Mom with a temporary crown while the permanent one sits in the closed office. We had an appointment to put the permanent one on, but Jensen closed the office before that could happen. I understand if there was some kind of emergency but the least that could have been done was to contact the patients with standing appointments & a crown that had already had half the money paid on. Shame on you Mark Jensen :)

August 23rd I was fitted for a new lower denture at this location 2 months & 10 fitting adjustments later I could not eat with it. After all of this...I told the dentist we need to do something different. He said he agreed and said he could do no more for me & handed me the name of another dentist in Overland Park to go to after charging my insurance for their services. I could not believe it. I then went to 5 Star Dental in Blue Springs who made me a new denture in one day. It fit perfectly first time. Still wearing it...fits great.

This office is amazing. We were having difficulties with my insurance and they were so kind and patient. My 2 older kids were happy with their cleanings. I was super pleased with my cleaning as well. The hygienist Chelsea was very nice and did a wonderful job cleaning my teeth, I haven't been to the dentist in four years! We will be making this our family dental office for years to come and recommend them to all our friends!

I had a tooth break off. I called and they got me in very fast to look at it. They did a great job and gave me a couple of options to fix it. I've been going here several years and they are helpful. If I'm having work done or getting a crown, they figure my amount prior to setting up the appointment for the dental work. I've never been surprised by a bill or service. Great place.
