Dr. Sasan Khodabakhsh was raised in Dallas, Texas. He graduated from the University of Texas at Dallas with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Baylor College of Dentistry in 2005.
After graduating from dental school, Dr. Khodabakhsh went on to complete further general dentistry and implant surgery training by receiving over 1000 hours of continuing education through mini residencies by some of the most revered dental clinicians in North America.
Always believing that there is more to learn, Dr. Khodabakhsh regularly travels and pursues continuing education to stay up-to-date with the latest dental trends, technologies, practices, and techniques. He strives to provide his patients with the very best that dentistry has to offer at our office in McKinney, TX.
Dr. Khodabakhsh can surgically place dental implants in the jawbone following tooth loss. Dental implants are the only dental device that can prevent jawbone atrophy. They can also support restorations like a dental crown to completely restore a tooth, improving the functionality and appearance of a patients mouth.
Dr. Khodabakhsh is certified to use Hybridgedental implant solutions,which can provide patients with a set of fixed dentures to completely restore an entire arch of teeth in as little as three weeks. Hybridge has different treatment options available depending on a patient's needs.
All-on-4dental implants can support a full denture to help restore widespread tooth loss in patients who have lost all or most of their teeth on the top or bottom arch. Unlike traditional dental implants, All-on-4 uses just four implants and usually doesn'trequire preparatory procedures like a bone graft or sinus lift.
My husband had the All on 4 Implant surgery. I was very impressed with the way their staff took care of us while we were there. Very professional yet compassionate. I highly recommend Summit Point, they make you feel like you are a part of their family and they DO care about you. They go above and beyond the call of duty. The Doctor himself has personally called and check on us and have kept in touch with my husband's progress. He has been healing and doing great even lost 20 lbs. We are extremely grateful.
I love Summit Point! This place is very welcoming and has an amazing staff that truly cares about your health and well being. The dental assistant, Josie, assured me everything was going to be ok and made me more comfortable with the experience. Doctor K is an expert in the dentistry field and Id recommend him to everyone if they asked. Along with the office being very new and modern, the cleanliness is very up to par. Shari is also another employee that went above and beyond to lighten my experience. They really made me feel like family. Cant wait for the next visit.

I went to Summit Point for an advertised free consultation for evaluating a crevice in my molar which I was told by my general dentist may be at risk and may in need of a crown for preventing the crevice from propagating to ruin the molar. They did a CBCT scan and told me that the crevice was superficial and did not need immediate attention. I was so happy that I did not have to do a crown or worry about it anymore.

Absolutely amazing job!! I had complete upper restoration and the Doctor and his staff went above expectations. Made sure I was as comfortable as possible and explained everything to me through the whole process. Definitely would recommend with more than 5 stars. So I'm a person that is scared to go to the dentist. Has never been my fav thing to do. But wow I am amazed of how comfortable and comforting the staff and my dentist was. They did everything to make me feel comfortable and relaxed. Amazing staff! Clean, fast, and definitely to your every need. If I can give more than five stars I would. Not typically a fan of dentist cause some of them try to pressure you into getting work done, Almost as bad as a used car salesman. Summit point was different. They broke down everything they recommend let me pick and choose what I wanted to do. Even let's you take that paperwork home to review it and try to make a plan without feeling pressured at all. Staff is all extremely friendly and professional.

Dr.K worked on my dental implant. Overall the experience was great with him and his staff. Dr.K guided well during the whole process and has mastered the procedure. I went there for dental exam because I had toothpain. The doctor seems to only care about pushing for implant. He appears to disinterested and didn't do anything to help me. I left and went to another clinics, they adjusted my crown and helped relieve my pain. The staff there is friendly, granted, but what good would that be if you can't help customers reduce pains?

Had a long and complicated treatment plan that was definitely quite the task, but they took care of it spectacularly. It was their number 1 priority to make sure I was as comfortable as possible, inside and outside the office. The staff is really nice and understanding and this has so far been the best dentist's office I've been to in my life. I will continue to come here unless I move far, FAR away.
