Dr. James Thompson is a third-generation orthodontist, following in the footsteps of his grandfather and father, who have served their communities combined for more than 70 years. He is honored to carry on their legacy. His mission is to continue to serve his community and to transform lives by creating beautiful smiles.
Dr. Thompson successfully completed the Orthodontics graduate program from Indiana University School of Dentistry, earning his Master of Science in Dentistry (M.S.D.). He has conducted research in the field of orthodontic bio-mechanical sciences.

We love Dr. Thompson! I went to Summit a lot of years ago and now I take both my kids! My son just got his braces off and his teeth are beautiful. The office does a great job of staying on schedule so appointments are easy. Thanks, Summit Orthodontics for a great experience! I would recommend Dr. Thompson to anyone!

Did fantastic work with my child's overbite and watching the development of my other child's jar and teeth. I appreciate that they lay out your various options while not being pushy about treatment.

If you are looking for a place to do your braces, I highly recommend Summit Orthodontics! I went to their Warsaw location! The staff were friendly and professional! They were always explaining to me or showing me what they were doing that day! They were very helpful if I had questions! I had a great experience!

Dr. Thompson and his staff are incredible with children. They make wearing braces and going to appointments fun, safe and prompt. They truly care about their patients! I am a returning customer with my children as I used them for braces for myself 17 years ago. Definitely recommend!

My daughters smile is absolutely beautiful! Worth the time, worth the drive, and most definitely worth the money! The two doctors are upbeat and Great as well as the staff!! A smile is so Important it's a first impression, it's everything! The timing was right on, no extra stuff needed! They said two years and they were literally off in two years!!! Definitely a great experience! I'll be back if my youngest need them! Thank you for everything summit!

The staff here is amazing! I went in with the idea my son would need braces and we walked out with braces. They explained every single step and showed him what they would be doing. I had no questions about what would take place and neither did he. Highly recommended!

Absolutely loved my experience here. All of the ladies were exceptionally kind and I enjoyed every appointment I had. Dr. T is by far the kindest orthodonist I've met, very caring and receptive to any concerns I had through out the process. Very good extablishment for kids. Dr. T dresses up around the holidays and made the experience very memorable. Highly recommended!

Dr. Thompson is amazing. He was great with my kids and always has a smile on his face. The ladies in back are fabulous with all ages. My son had a really bad overbite and he now looks perfect. Our daughter just got hers off and she looks great too! I went there as a teen many years ago and I am still totally impressed with him. The office provides patients with awesome follow up care after braces are removed as well. I would definitely recommend Summit Orthodontics!!
