My daughter and I had the worst experience at this facility. They scheduled us for a later time and never called me. They called my daughters phone where you can't leave a message. Then when we hung out in Billings for another 4 hours til the new appointment, they literally pushed us out the door as soon as she was barely waking up out of her surgery from wisdom teeth removal. I asked if she could wake up and come to from her meds and they said nope! We don't let anyone hang out. We get them in and out. She'll be fine. I was shocked! I said, well you certainly heard them in and out like cattle here. These are humans! And she's a teenager. The dental assistant helped me pull her up into my car after wheeling her out in a wheel chair. She was completely still out of it! The dental assistant was very cold and not compassionate at all! And don't worry, they'll make you pay before they even do the surgery! They definitely want their money. Maybe because it's such a poorly after care. I wasn't asking for us to retire their more than 20-30 min for my daughter to wake up and be able to mover herself. I will not take the rest of my family back to that place ever again. I've never been treated so poorly in a dental office/surgery center.

I have never met a team more determined to speak over me with explanations nobody was asking for that care less about a patient's needs. The only reason 2 stars is because the surgeon himself seemed kind, capable and respectful. I called to follow up on a bill and see about the second 15 minute anesthesia charge as I had left the room and been met with a finished physician in 15 minutes time waiting on my patient. The first gal assumed my patient had told me how long they were back there and began explaining to me that a sedated patient cannot in fact tell time. When I explained it was my own timing I was transferred to her manager to check on the bill and was informed that by their log, the patient had in fact gone 4 minutes over the first 15 minutes, so another large fee for more sedation was in order. We got to the main reason for my call, payment, and I was read off the payment arrangement I'd made ahead. I explained the more payment I'd made the day of and the differences there because it seemed different. I was informed that told the person I was currently speaking to was the person that estimates those (and another yet downspeak as to an estimate is an estimate-no kidding!) But she goes on to explain she always estimates an additional 10% for out of network patients. Out of network? Your staff verified to me that you were IN network before appointment day. So I was lied to about being in network, I don't trust liars to tell me how much time my patient was sedated for, and I don't appreciate being down spoken and over spoken to. You could tell she had me pegged the minute she took my call and had a show to make about running me right around. Surgery is hard enough, expensive enough, having a bad experience to boot is uncalled for. I should have left the moment we showed up when they had a difficult time with LGBTQIA+ patients and I wish I could elaborate on that but in order to protect the wonderful person I made the mistake of bringing there for care and their unique circumstance, I must leave you only with they did not respect our situation at all. Even though I had called ahead and made sure they were in the loop, on board and ok and had the information they needed to handle appropriately and kindly. This manager downspeak professional had nothing to say about that when I let her know of the poor handling we had day of surgery. It was awful. Start to finish. Go elsewhere. One could surmise I should verify in network myself and maybe I will moving forward, but I have never had a medical office of any kind lie to me bout it. Until Now. No thanks on this place. I can only imagine what catty reply they may have, given my experience thus far. Not worth the return envelope they don't send to save themselves money and pass that cost onto the hardworking person paying their bill. I have come back to update that when I was transferred to a manager to check on the billing, the catty person who answered was not the manager although I wouldn't know that as she didn't identify herself differently even though that's where I was being transferred to. The manager has since my review called to identify that with me and although she means well, I still absolutely do not recommend Summit and stand by my review and overall awful experience. I hope they do better in the future but I won't be coming back for more to find out.

had a fairly smooth process getting all four wisdom teeth removed. only after said surgery Summit completely forgot to place my pain killer prescription order, which made for an ordeal after the surgery.

The staff here was incredible. They helped make what was a scary experience for me as smooth as possible. The woman at the front desk with the salt and pepper hair was incredibly kind and attentive, but the real shining star was Jordan. She made sure my surgery went smoothly from start to finsh and helped make my experience as comfortable as possible. 10/10 for her and 5 stars for the whole establishment.

I feel like I won the lottery by finding Dr. Griffeth & Summit Oral Surgery. I had an emergency impacted wisdom tooth and they bent over backwards to get me in right away. The surgery was quick, easy and pain free. His assistants and entire team at the office (to include the nice ladies working at the front desk) did an amazing job of explaining everything thoroughly and it was obvious that they care for their patients. I was also surprised by how affordable everything was. The bill was a lot cheaper than I was expecting to be honest. Ultimately, I ended up getting a dry socket a few days later and they again bent over backwards to work with my schedule to get me in each day and fixed up. This has been my most pleasurable experience with a dentist by far. Thanks so much to the team at Summit!

Can't say enough good things about Summit Oral! I had to get four wisdom teeth out recently. I was fairly nervous because I had never had anesthesia before, but Dr. Ludwig and all the staff were super friendly and talked me through the procedure. It was much faster than I imagined, and after the fact, I realized I had nothing to be worried about. As I was leaving, they also gave me a pint of ice cream and a t-shirt. Great experience overall, and the recovery is going well! Definitely would recommend.

Had a tooth extracted at my local dentist that ended up not clotting correctly and bleeding a lot after 24 hours. Er was unable to control the bleeding after dentist sent me. I can not remember his name but one of the drs here agreed to see me after hours and was able to stop the bleeding! Felt so good to be able to eat and drink after going on 30 hours. The pains pretty bad but they stopped the bleeding. Just have to hope my insurance will cover the emergency visit

Dr Griffith and his team are amazing. I am a serious dental phobic and he is SO kind and caring. You won't find a better oral surgeon who honestly cares about his patients.

I can't give enough praise wo the excellent customer service and excellent patient care. I pray I never need another sedated procedure! But whether it is sedated or not, Summit is where I will go. I can't give any more stars than 5, or I would! Highly recommended :) AND TO TOP IT OFF!!! They gave me ice cream ;)

I had a very unhappy experience with Dr Ganoe and a tooth extraction. The reviews that I read about compassionate care and anxiety free visits were less than true for this appointment. Dr Ganoe was aggressive with the numbing shots. The last time I felt that much pain and discomfort was visiting the dentist in the late 1950s. I know it didn't need to be that painful. He left the room saying he would give me time to get numb; back in 5 minutes. He was back in 25 minutes. I sat alone in that uncomfortable room for 25 minutes. This did nothing for my anxiety or comfort. The numbing didn't work. The procedure was extremely painful. After an excruciatingly long time and several ugly attempts, he finally gave me a different numbing shot. The two stars that I gave in were for the staff and assistants. Treating patients with this much callousness is not acceptable. Carla

Every staff member was great, super friendly and helped me with feeling anxious and Dr. Griffeth was phenomenal. Only complaint is I was told I'd get a call with a quote for my out of pocket after insurance amount, didn't recieve any call until 2 days before my surgery where they only confirmed my appointment and I had to request an estimate which took another day to recieve (the day before my appointment) and wouldn't help with any sort of payment plan despite the fact that they failed to tell me how much I owed and almost couldn't get the surgery done because of the price. Extremely stressful experience and I felt extremely under prepared.

I called summit to get an estimate for my wisdom teeth removal, and they had me come in for a consultation (after I had my dentist send in my xrays). I assumed that the consultation would be free like all of the other oral surgery places that I had talked to, then I received a bill for $80 for a 10 minute "consultation" where they asked if I wanted to do the surgery with or without anesthesia then printed off a quote without even looking in my mouth. I chose to go with them because it was cheaper than the other places I looked at and rated really highly. I went in, and got my teeth removed, and when I got home, saw that one side of my cheek had not been closed like the other, it was about a dime sized hole, so I called them and asked and they said "oh that's normal." I don't think it's normal to have one cheek with a giant hole and one that is stitched up. Then, I got a dry socket, which isn't their fault, but it was the weekend so I wasn't able to get it treated right away. Two weeks later, my stitches still hadn't dissolved like they were supposed to and were causing a TON of pain. I had to cut the stitches out of my mouth myself and then immediately felt better (I couldn't go back in because I live out of town). They did give me ice cream after the procedure though, and their assistants were nice. Overall, a pretty traumatizing and incredibly painful experience.

From the front desk all the way up to the Oral surgeons, the crew here are ALL 5 STAR impressive. Dr. Ganoe and Dr. Griffeth are both caring and concerned about the quality of care you receive. I ended up with a broken tooth and a terrible abscess in my mandible that required some minor surgery, and I cannot impress enough how well I felt the situation was handled. I was admitted on Friday. Saturday was the surgery, Sunday Dr. Ganoe checked in on me and Monday he was here to pull out the stints and tell me I was well enough to go home. I expected that I might sit the whole weekend and have the surgery on Monday, but that was not the case. KUDOS to each one of your crew

Dr. Griffeth and staff are nothing short of amazing. My 13 year old daughter had impacted wisdom teeth and 12 year old molars that couldn't come in. He did an uncommon up-righting surgery on the molars, along with wisdom tooth extraction. The surgery went great, and everyone was wonderful. About day 4-5, my daughter started to experience overwhelming pain from a dry socket. I can't say enough about the empathy and caring the staff showed while taking care of my daughter. It was obvious how much these people care for their patients. I highly recommend this group!!!! 5 stars all the way.

Just had 2 implants and Dr. Ludwig and Devin were awesome. Professional, informative, concerned about the patient's comfort and with a little humor thrown in as a bonus. I would highly recommend Summit for any oral surgery needs.

I had to have a tooth extracted and an implant put in. Although my dentist referred me to Dr. Griffeth, I was feeling very anxious about this procedure. Well, to start, I never even felt the numbing needle. Dr. Griffeth was super nice, and compassionate, always checking to make sure I was doing ok during the procedure. I'm very happy with how things went and would choose Summit and Dr. Griffeth with confidence for any future oral surgery procedures!

Great work. I love my implants and to be honest it was way less painful than I expected. They were able to do the bone grafting in one session when other oral surgeons said it would have to take two. This saved me money, time and discomfort. Thanks again.

Dr. Ludwig, Dr Griffeth and their team are fantastic. Caring and professional treatment. I've been going to Summit Oral Surgery since 2014 and the service has always been outstanding. I will continue to utilize Summit Oral Surgery and would highly recommended them.
