I am a disabled veteran who had to have a tooth removed. I am pin a wheelchair and this office was very accommodating. The technician was very sharp, and the surgeon was professional and really went out of his way. The office is very clean, modern, and comfortable. Very pleased with my experience with this entire office from start to finish.

The whole staff was fantastic! Very welcoming and helpful!! Carli took awesome care of me, and Dr. Sclafani was also excellent! I didn't feel any part of the surgery. They gave me great instructions and expectations. I would have any service done with them. Very great team and care! Especially Carli!! Thank you very much!! Laurel LaFleure

First let me say I gave five stars, however, I would like to add +++++ From the minute I came into the office it was welcoming. Tammy who registered me in greeted me with a smile. She explained everything throughly so even a knucklehead like me (what my late father would call me in love) could understand. Then I met Perala who took me to my room. She was outstanding. Told me what to expect which calmed me down from dentistaphobia . They numb my mouth so well the dentist came in I closed my eyes (due too my dentistaphobia) and he said "You're done" I said "Aunt ha ga na po ma eeth hot" which translates to Aren't you going to pull my teeth out. The best I could do with a block of black rubber in my totally numb mouth. As I do this review (the following day) I am totally pain free. I expected it to be worse with my experience with other dentist. I believe this office has cure me of my dentistaphobia.

Had 2 wisdom extractions done earlier today. Didn't feel the IV at all, all the staff were super kind and professional and even a crown that was partially covering a wisdom tooth was saved in one piece instead of being broken like a different surgeon told me would be done.

I would like to thank the entire staff at Summit Maxifacial and including Dr.Sclafani, They are like family. And Lynn Bowers she was a big help. Thankyou. They are really friendly and they actually care for their patients rather than some places I've been too. Thankyou so much and I really appreciate it,Also I really appreciate the way your process works for patients. You guys made me feel at home and thats a blessing. I feel 100% better now and I'm doing amazing.I've waited 10 years to find a good dentist like you guys. I had pain free full mouth extraction, for dentures And it's worth it, I highly recommend them. We need more dentists like this place. and they are highly experienced with technology and healthier treatment plans and surgery. "Every dentist has flaws but you can't judge a book by its cover untill you actually try it" it's not the little flaws that matter it's the big flaws. Like yes they might of miss sent prescription to wrong location but that's okay, that has nothing todo with the surgery. I still give them 10 stars. others are worried about what's around the dentist and not actually inside. Don't doubt this place. Try it . Go for it

In today's world it's difficult to find a place that is as friendly as the Macomb Office on Wellington is. From start to finish with setting up an appointment, scheduling for "wisdom teeth" removal to working with the accounting team to work out the insurance details this group gets a 5 star rating from me. Not to even mention Dr. Scapalini who is kind competent and friendly, and good looking, lol! Thank you so much for having 5 teeth removed a pleasant experience for both myself and my son. Highly recommend.

Doctor Sclafani did a fantastic job removing my wisdom teeth. His team did a great job making me feel comfortable as soon as I walked in the door. It's currently 8 hours after my surgery and I'm at home making dinner always go to Summit for any oral surgery!!!! Thanks again!!

I am not impressed with this place, and I probably wouldn't recommend this place to others either. They made several mistakes before I even got my surgery, including GIVING ME A PRESCRIPTION I AM ALLERGIC TO (and yes, I did inform them of the allergy beforehand), and sending the prescriptions to two different wrong locations TWICE despite me reading out the address and phone number of the location I wanted to receive it at. The fact that this location had oversights on these things made me very nervous to trust them with my surgery. The surgeon himself was actually very nice and I did like him. I was supposed to receive a call from someone the day after my surgery to talk about everything, however they called my mother. Not me. Not the phone number I listed when I filled out my info sheet. My mother. Because that was the phone number they had on file because I'm assuming it was ANOTHER OVERSIGHT of the front desk to input my personal phone number and contact me directly. Not impressed with the staff, but I did like the surgeon.

Miss jessica (if I remember correctly) was super nice she was the one that took my xray and stuff. I was anxious but she made me feel at ease. The place is also super clean. Dr. Kramer is that dude. He is the man with the plan. I had all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed today. Some swelling and pain post op to be expected but that's what meds and ice are for. I like the way the front desk ladies dress too, very professional. Hope to never see you guys again though

Great staff and doctor. Very minimal swelling and my pain comfort is also minimal (It could depend on the person) but I highly recommend them if you need your wisdom teeth removed. I was nervous and the staff was very comforting while prepping me.

I came here in 2018 for wisdom teeth removal surgery and had an awful experience. The front desk staff was incredibly rude to me when I inquired about having disability paperwork completed to cover my time off of work. They attempted to clear me to return to work when my face was extremely swolen and I was crying in pain a couple of days after my procedure. My recivery process took a full week as I was one of the unlucky ones. I just can't believe how rude and unwilling to work with me that the staff was. My taking time off from my job to recover in no way impacts the staff. I was incredibly dissapointed that they attempted to have me report to work early in my condition. I was also told I had dry socket and needed to come in after I returned to work to have gauze put in my mouth. When I asked what determines dry socket or how they can tell I was told well they don't REALLY know and it is just precautionary and I may not even have dry socket. This was after I took time off work and was penalized for doing so. I then had to make ANOTHER appointment and take more time off of work to have the gauze removed for an issue that seemed to not even exist. When I asked for a note to give my employer they refused. This place does not care for their patients. They do not care for your livelihood or if you lose your job. I tell everyone to stay far away from this office if they want to be seen by people who care about them.

Dr. Actually laughing at me about my dental pain. Refused to even do his own xray. I brought mine in, but they can't even open up my discs from my endodontist. I Found out I indeed have severe jawbone infection, and had to go to the Cleveland clinic for diagnosis and treatment. Please, this is my 3rd horrible experience with this chain. They don't even have updated technology, or take infection prevention measures properly. If you want crapo care with high prices, this is the place for you. PASS

I got my wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Sclafani and he did a wonderful job! This was my first time being put under so I was very nervous about the procedure, but the staff and him calmed me down and took wonderful care of me. It's a couple days after my surgery and my recovery is going incredibly well! I highly recommend him and his staff!

Dr. LeRose was awesome. He pulled my two top wisdom teeth and when I woke up I couldn't believe it was over. Recovery was smooth clinic was comfortable and they phoned me after a day or two to see how I was feeling. I wish I had gone to him for my lower two wisdom teeth 5 years ago. Highly recommend.

Regarding my recent implant procedure: A five star rating goes to Dr. Sclafani and his staff for having demonstrated the highest level of courtesy, professionalism and competence.

I suggest you read this for a fair review. I started at this dentist from a referal and as a family friend. I Needed to get implants, but first removal. I originally came to this dentist because Dr Sclafani is a family acquaintance of my father. Although I never told him my father is a doctor/surgeon because to be fair, I just wanted the procedure done after so long. I assumed he's one of the best, in and out. My front teeth are loose all around. Quick and fix: That's not what happened though. Last year when I was setting the consult up I had to get my lowers made already having the uppers made. I set up an appt to talk about doing the upper and lower together for implants and the cost. When I got to that appt they set me up for the extractions without anything being ready. Without even a forum telling me how much would be owed. Just set up the appt. When Dr S came in the room he stood there with a bewildered look on his face about why I still wasn't getting the extractions without anything being made. Hmm. Common sense. First I didn't set this appt, I never got a estimate cost, no body ever went over anything cost wise, but let's extract. Makes no sense at all. So in the midst of a pandemic and insurance and what not I finally have both top and bottom made. Explained this to the doctor. I said I'll just get the bottom done even though the top were made, because I'm leaving to the Bahamas for my honeymoon in 3 weeks and I want this done Dr S said you should get both top and bottom done. I told him just the bottom because it was easier. After speaking to my wife we decided to get it all done like the doctor said. When I called I spoke with Sarah.... sigh. Seriously when a person hates her job, that's what vacations are for. Js I am not here to bash this practice just explain my experience. So I began speaking to Sarah I explained I may want the top and bottom done. Her response No joke this is what Sarah says to me. You will need to come in for a consult on the top. I said I was just there a week and a half ago. Why do I need to come there again? For another $85 consult for the 2 min he comes in the room? Seriously I drive 30 min to get there. Because my father Dr Farrar who is also friends with Dr Mitchel the refereeing dentist happens to know family friends of Dr S. Sarah said I'll speak to the doctor and let you know. Call you tomorrow she says. The next day no call., of course: so I call and leave a message after they are closed. So this morning she calls me back and says I spoke with Dr S who said this is the amount of this and this is the amount of that. If you want the top done it's this if you want the bottom done it's this. My response was I want to get both done. Top and bottom. Simple. But then Sara who seemingly is looking for some type of confrontation or she just can not stand her job says... and I quote " dr S also said if you cancel this appt he's not interested in rescheduling you. Wow!!! Like I enjoy coming to this office or my teeth like this. Smh First off was it a money thing? Just care about money? I am loaded up with insurance, and believe me people just got taxes back. You would be foolish to think that. Was it a lack of training your front desk girls. I got to the bottom of that. I looked at the reviews prior. You can have all the experience in the world, but when you get too big for your bridges or you make too much money to really care about the $3,000 I was bringing you, and my wife and family on top it sure doesn't account for a 5 star review. Honestly you get a 2 star simply because my father knows the doc. Anyways that is as best of a review I can give. This definitely has become an experience. A sad one. Thankfully your neighbor dentist came to the rescue and everything will be done in a week. Best of luck to this office. I'm sure business will decline unless you retrain your office girls, and most importantly, during a pandemic, they should show empathy, rather then disgust, all I can do is wish this office the best. Best of luck from an unsatisfied patient
