Dr. LaurenMammina was raised inGrand Rapids, Michigan. She obtained her undergraduate degree in Biomedical Sciences fromGrand Valley State University and earned her DDS from the University of Michigan. She loves treating patients of all ages, especially young kids. She strives to create an atmosphere where her patients feel relaxed and comfortable. Outside of the office, Dr. Lauren enjoys spending time with friends and family, traveling, staying active, and making homemade pasta. She also loves photography and runs a food blog!

Just wow! I was a new patient. From the moment I walked in and was greeted by Maddie, I was put at ease and felt as though Summit had been my dentists office forever. Savannah kept the ball rolling, and Dr. Krista topped off my visit with a real discussion and treatment plan. She listened to my concerns and reassured me that they had it covered! I was really impressed with their office (very kid friendly), but not nearly as much as I was impressed by their people. I have already decided that I will bring my daughter here, and Summit will be our new family practice.

I am a fairly new patient and I would definitely recommend this denist. The staff is very professional and friendly. Karyn is a wonderful hygienist and Dr Lauren took time and answered questions and concerns I had. I always feel very welcome and comfortable when I'm there!

Very poor receptionist staff! I asked for my insurance to be checked and was treated with bias and hung up on due to my insurance being Medicaid. Would not recommend this place as they seem to have no care for human beings!

Today was my 3rd visit to Summit Family Dental. Each experience was amazing. The office staff is friendly and helpful. It is easy to make appointments. Karen di my cleaning today and my teeth feel great! She was informative and friendly. I highly recommend this office.

This is my fourth five star review. If this keeps up there will be no more stars in the sky. The headlines in the newspapers will read Summit Family Dental Reposansible for the Starless Sky My appointment was great as usual. This is my third five Star review I was seen by Dr. Mark and Katie. Dr. Mark is the Van Gough of dentistry, a true arrrtist except Dr. Mark has two ears. He did an outstanding job rebuilding my smile. Katie was ex cell e ent. Kind, courteous, and a great assistant. My second five star review. Karyn aka "The pain free hygienist" worked on my teeth today. She was outstanding . Outstanding is my experience at Summit Family Dental so far. All the staff has been friendly. My treatment plan was laid out completely for me in terms I could understand along with my fanicnal responsibilities. If you looking for a dentist I would recommend you give Summit Family Denal a try. I don't believe you will be disappointed. My first five star review. Today I was seen by Dr. Mark and Becky. I had a root canal done. It was pain free from start to finish. If I could give six stars I would. I am very pleased with this office.

I have a bad experiences with dentist in the past. I had a root canal done yesterday and with all the horror stories I have heard about them I thought it would be horrible! It was not Becky and Dr Lauren eased my stress and it was a painless procedure and quicker then I thought it would be! Thank you both for making the dentist less scary for me!

Karyn the Dental Hygienist is awesome. She's friendly, thorough, honest, gentle (when cleaning teeth) and highly competent in her field of work. Dental Office is very clean and atmosphere is second to none. I highly recommend Summit Family Dental. Ask for Karyn to clean your teeth. She's the best!

My first visit with Summit Family Dental. Walked in nervous, but as soon as I was greater by the receptionist my fears were calmed. The dental assistant Katie was very clear in explaining everything while doing x-rays and Dr. Krista was so pleasant and very thorough doing the examination of my teeth and explained in great detail on the work that needs to be done.

My husband chose this office from the information he found online, I went whim for his second appointment to see if they accepted my insurance. The office called to reschedule his appointment because of an equipment issue. We went to the office for him to reschedule, they basically ignored me as u would expect to a point, as I was not a patient. But total ignorance, I have never been ignored this way at any medical or dental office in my life. When I asked about my insurance the receptionist took a quick look and said 'we do not take HMO'. Not a big deal right?!?!?! So I decided to check my dental insurance, I found out the dental is not an HMO. Makes me wonder if she looked at the top of the card, saw HMO and ignored everything else. Why would a potential client be treated this way, is the question I have. I will not be choosing this dental office at anytime nor will I bring any other family members here. The dentist may be great, but the office staff is definitely lacking in good customer care.
