Southern Oregon raised, Dr. Ian Erickson had an interest in Dentistry at an early age. His mother Linn is a hygienist and his father Mart is a dentist. With both parents in the dental business, Dr. Erickson developed a thorough understanding of the profession. In 2000 he graduated from Grants Pass High School and was accepted into Linfield College. In 2004 he graduated from Linfield with a Bachelor of Science Degree and then went on to attend Oregon Health Science and University School of Dentistry. It was at OHSU that he met and married his wife Dr. Nicole Keck-Erickson. Together they graduated from OHSU in 2008 and came back to their hometown in Southern Oregon. The first 5 years out of dental school Dr. Ian Erickson worked with his father, Dr. Mart Erickson in Grants Pass. He valued the opportunity to learn from his father and uses much of what he learned in his practice today. Sports and extracurricular activities have always been a very important attribute of Dr. Ians life which he continues still. He is an active cycler and snowboarder, but all that sometimes takes a backseat to raising his 4 kids.

Dr. Suing, DMD spent eight years as a dental assistant, which allowed her to witness first hand the trusting relationship that is formed between a dentist and their patients. This inspired her to return to school to further pursue dentistry. She completed her undergraduate degree at OSU and attended OHSU School of Dentistry, where she received her doctorate.

Dr. Suing is a native of Bend Oregon, but spent many childhood summers visiting grandparents in Southern Oregon. Her and her husband, along with their two young kids, are thrilled to be in the area. They cant wait to explore Medford, whether its hiking, camping, or just getting away from the Portland rain!

I was born and raised in Prineville Oregon for majority of my childhood, My family moved to Medford my Freshman year of high school and I attended South Medford, Go Panthers! After High School I immediately started school at Southern Oregon Dental Assistant Education where I earned my Expanded Functions Dental Assistant and Sealant certification and later was certified for Denture Soft Relines.

I have always taken pride in my job; a healthy smile has always been of great importance to me and I love to pass that on to my patients. It is such a pleasure to work in this office with a close family of co-workers and great patients, I am serious when I say we have THE BEST PATIENTS EVER!

Ashley is a Southern Oregon local that has been in dentistry since 2002. She moved after high school to Utah to pursue a passion of the outdoors and was a river guide for 3 years. She explored all parts of the Wasatch Mountains and was an avid snow boarder. She transitioned to less a nomadic lifestyle when she went into dentistry. She was a dental assistant for 3 years before going to Hygiene School. After receiving her degree in Dental Hygiene she moved back to Southern Oregon to be closer to family. She met her husband in Utah and they married in 2004. They now have 2 girls

I have worked at the same office through three generations of Dentists for a total of twenty-nine years. I started my career in dentistry as a dental assistant where I later transitioned into the front office.

One of my biggest joys in life is spending time with my husband of over 40 years, my three children and 5 grandchildren. I am a strong woman of faith who enjoys spending time with my bible study group, reading and camping with my closest friends and loved ones.

I was born and raised here in the Rogue Valley, and my journey as a Dental Assistant began in 2015 after graduating from SODAE. Since then I have gained an incredible amount of knowledge throughout my career and continue to learn as modern dentistry is constantly improving. The most rewarding aspect of my job is not only helping improve smiles and overall oral health, but I get to connect and build relationships with all of my patients.

As far as my personal life goes, I am married to my high school sweet heart and have been blessed with two beautiful children. We try to lead a simple life, teaching our children the importance of faith, prayer and good ethics. Our hobbies include archery, hunting, fishing and riding, and we spend our time outdoors as much as possible.

Some of my hobbies include running, Crossfit and many other outdoor activities such as camping, rafting and hiking. My husband and I have 3 kids who we enjoy spending every minute with. We enjoy going to the park and playing outside on my days off.

I am so grateful for the opportunity to work with everyone here at Summit. What I love most is that everyone is welcomed like family from the moment you walk in the door and is so caring and loving. I cannot wait to grow here, and learn all about the dental field.

I studied at RCC in their Dental Assistant Program and obtained my EFDA certification, Radiology, and Associates Degree. I chose the dental field because I believe helping people feel confident and comfortable with their smiles is so rewarding. I love to be around people and help them, so I could not think of a better field to join.

When I'm not working, I love to hike the table rocks, go rock climbing, and be at the Oregon Coast. I adore dogs and most cats and have one dog and one cat. I have a 2-year-old son who takes up most of my current free time and am the youngest of 3 sisters!

My favorite things about my job are getting to know our patients, helping people achieve their healthy smiles, and cosmetic dentistry. I am always trying to learn new skills and expand my knowledge of dentistry.

Hi, my name is Vanessa. Im excited to be part of an amazing office. I graduated from Oregon Institute of Technology in 2010 as a Registered Dental Hygienist and have been in the valley for 5 years. I truly enjoy what I do and the relationships I build with my patients.

I grew up in Southern Oregon but moved away to attend college, and just recently moved back to the area to be closer to family. I received my Bachelors if Science degree from Oregon State University and then earned my Associates degree in Dental Hygiene from Mt. Hood. I have always had a passion for helping people and was finally able to find my niche in the dental world.

I grew up in Prospect Oregon. As a child I was raised around horses, pigs and cattle. I was a 9 year 4-H member and was involved in FFA in high school. During the summer and fall seasons I had the opportunity to do Junior Rodeo as well as be on the court for two years. In 2013 I got to represent the Wild Rogue Pro Rodeo as their Queen.

After high school I left for Tennessee where I graduated from Remington College for Dental Assisting in 2011. I moved back to Oregon where I have been assisting for the past 10 years and love what I do.

I began this journey in 2016, just after graduating in 2015. I plan to continue to grow and develop in this field here at Summit. Im a people person, and I really enjoy meeting new people and developing professional relationships with patients. Im beyond excited to apart of the family here at Summit.

I was born and raised in Portland. I began my career as a dental assistant in 2005 after attending Concorde Career Institute; earning my EFDA, EODA and Sealant certifications. Working in the dental field has been very rewarding for many reasons. I enjoy learning and keeping up to date with modern dentistry. I love helping patients improve their smiles, educating patients on the importance of good oral hygiene and building relationships with each patient.

I moved to Medford in 2017 with my son to start a new chapter in our lives with my finace and his 2 daughters. I enjoy hiking, snowboarding, watching my son play soccer, learning to golf, wine tasting and exploring the Rogue Valley.

I was born and raised in the Rogue Valley. Growing up I was active in archery, 4H, and FFA. My husband and I have 2 fur babies. When Im not working I am either out trail riding or barrel racing. Very efficient and cheerful staff welcome you as you walk in. No waiting. Concern is expressed for your comfort before, during and after the procedures. Great explanations of why, when etc.. I've had crowns placed in the upper front. You cannot tell the difference between the crowns and my natural teeth. I would strongly recommend this practice

What a fantastic Medical/Dental experience. I have some Dental Anxiety and the building, art work, people and flow greatly helped to relax me. Regina was my first point of contact and was relaxed and friendly. When I went back to the treatment room Heather the hygienist was gentle, accurate and very professional. Dr Erickson provided great oral images and offered detailed explanations of my current dental health. I appreciated that all the staff treated me like a person and not a commodity. Alissa assisted Dr. Erickson and she was extremely sharp. The following day there was a cancellation and I did not see the text so Mikensey called me and I was able to come in in less than an hour. The procedure was a filling and Dr. Erickson provided gentle local anesthesia and I did not feel any discomfort from the shots. That was a first. Kim assisted and was engaging, professional, authentic and kind. I would rate this Dental practice and staff in the top one tenth of 1 percent of my best business experiences ever!! Thank you.

Dr Erickson and his staff are the incarnation of patient-centered care. Doc came in on his day off to clean my teeth rather than reschedule my cleaning. During the visit he reviewed my dental issues in depth and with a breadth and depth of content I have never experienced in a general dentistry practice. I have found the highest quality dental home with a team of kind and caring professionals. You simply will not find better dental care. Don't miss out!!!

What a nice place. The staff are very friendly and attentive. Dr. Suing and Dr. Erickson are awesome, I'd bet Dr. Keck is too but haven't met her. They do great work and put a priority on my comfort. I recently had a molar extruded by Dr. Erickson with ZERO pain or discomfort. Seriously what a rock star. I highly recommended this place!

I have high anxiety at dental offices and after a nightmare experience at Willamette Dental I came here. Dr Erickson was so gentle, patient and took endless time with me to explain and answer all my questions. Definitely the best dental experience ever! The entire staff is awesome!!!! Thank you all.

The ladies at Summit are always cheerful and courteous. You feel like a valued client. The doctor is amazing and will even make a tough procedure not seem as bad with her demeanor and attitude. Definitely doesn't feel like a "dreadful" experience going to the Dentist.

Summit Family Dental Care has worked with me on scheduling and my plan for care. Dr. Erickson pulled one of my wisdom teeth, and I think we all know the scariest part are the shots. He was extremely gentle and had the experience to have a trick to take ease the worst of the shots. The kindness of the staff and the expertise of their dentists make this office one of the easiest visits I've had in some time.

Summit Family Dental is hands down the best dentist I have ever been to, I refuse to see anyone else. They are kind and patient and truly do their best to not only work around your schedule, but also make you feel like family when you come in. No one is ever having a bad day there and it almost seems impossible to! Plus the atmosphere is so bright, positive, and relaxing, it's hard to feel anything but calm there. Summit also makes sure your comfortable with whatever they're doing. They don't push things on you or tell you how it has to be. They take time to go through options and give you full choice of how you want things done. A great place full of great people! If you are a person who is afraid of the dentist, try Summit out. I promise they will change your mind completely!

Have been a patient for a couple of years. Multiple cleanings, some cavity work, a new tooth on implant and today a crown with my dentist Patricia Suing. She has been through, consciousness and respectful of my request to be proactive on my dental care. I have had 3 dental implants and they are very expensive . So I want to do anything to prevent any further tooth loss. Today I had a new crown. Dr Suing and her assistant had a great belly laugh about the shot she was about to give me, it turned out to be a completely pain free . My first time for a completely pain free visit to the dentist. They were also able to do the complete crown in one visit. Really happy. Recommended my wife who is dentist adverse .

I was just going to leave and not give any review, but then my new dentist asked if I had veneer prep on my teeth...no I haven't, just had 2 rough cleanings here at Summit.... The dental team seemed sweet and understanding at first, even about my chronic condition, but wouldn't hear anything I had to say about the cleanings. Glad other dental professionals can see the damage Summit has done. Sad it's on my front bottom teeth though. Right where ppl can see I was refused 3 month cleanings at first, only by the hygienist. Even though I explained I get so much anxiety about new cavities. When I called to make 3 month cleaning it was accepted, then hygienist called the day of to "make sure I need it" and seemed rather mad she had to clean my teeth so soon. Hygienist also rested hand on my jaw while cleaning and cracked jaw open, kept going uncaring. I've never experienced something like that. Now I see a hygienist that has their own practice, no confusion with the dentist! Really wish summit would listen to their customers, they heard all this and didn't really care!

The whole family has been going here for the past two years, everyone is exceptionally friendly making the experience stress free. Very professional staff who takes the extra time to make you feel welcome. Even had a previous dentist (not from Summit) tell me I needed work done, needless to say it never happened and after going to Summit realized they weren't telling the whole truth. Thank you to Summit for being honest! Would highly recommend. Vanessa and Dr. Keck did an awesome job!
