Dr. Alexander Sikora, a Western New York native, received his undergraduate degree from Denison University, then a both a Masters degree in Biomaterials and Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from SUNY at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine.
Dr. Andriana Shumova received her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Montreal in 2014. In a pursuit of excellence, she moved to Rochester and completed a 2-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency program at the Eastman Institute for Oral Health at the University of Rochester.

I have never been to a dentist so thorough and detailed as Summit Family Dental! They go through a very detailed first visit and all the staff are friendly and easy to communicate with. Highly recommend!

I just had my first visit at Summit Family Dental Care yesterday afternoon. I was extremely impressed with how friendly and professional the staff is at this location. The process for my first visit was exceptionally thorough: from photographs, to X-rays, to the clinical exam. Dr. Andriana took the time to go over the photographs, X-rays, and exam results with me in great detail, providing explanations and answering questions along the way. Any other dentist that I've been to has simply given my mouth a cursory look and charged an exorbitant amount of money for doing so. Dr. Andriana spent at least 30 minutes with me between the examination and the explanation. I don't see how any other dental care team could top this level of service. Look no further than this place!

I recently had a bridge done. AMAZING TEAM!!! I travel a significant distance however I will not trust anyone else with my dental care. Thank you so much for your care .

The facility is beautiful. Sarah, the dental assistant instantly and throughout the visit made me feel as a part of her family, she was so friendly. Dr. Ashley was professional and educated me completely as to what to expect during the procedure. She answered 100% of my questions thoroughly. The procedure was painless and the result was even better than I anticipated. Without hesitation, I would recommend Summit Family Dental Care to any and all who are in need of a dentist!!

I'm RIDICULOUSLY suspish of products sold by "professionals" that are reportedly "stronger" or "more effective"...than over the counter. Summit's Opalescence GO professional strength whitening merch should be flying OFF the friggin shelves though! What should have taken 5-10 days (applications) took 3! With vigilant self care; I'll be stretching this 70$ box out for 18-24mos EASY. FIVE STARS. BUY IT!! I am NOT a bot

Had a great first experience. The doctor and staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. The only reason for 4 stars is because I never heard back about whether my insurance approved a cleaning I wanted. It's been awhile now and it was disappointing to not have a follow up as I'm still experiencing the same pain and need a cleaning either way.

I'm normally terrified of dentists, and have been searching for a new one for years now. Dr. Andriana and assistant Sarah were wonderfully reassuring and welcoming and did much to calm my fears. I needed a root canal, which was done right in the office in less than an hour. Dr. Andriana had assured me there would be no pain, and she was 100% correct: there was NO PAIN. I think I may have finally found my new dentist :)

I was a student in the area and came here after getting many recommendations from friends in town. I needed to have a cavity filled and soon after the procedure, I immediately started having severe pain. When I inquired about it, they told me this was typical and to wait it out. I went back two more times and got the same answer. It continued to get worse and worse until one day my jaw went numb and I developed a fever. I had never been in so much pain. I called them back and at first they refused to give me antibiotics. They told me that if I came in they would only give me an emergency root canal and there were no other options. But at this point, I didn't trust them to touch my teeth and took my business elsewhere. If they had just done a better job in the first place and/or fixed the problem after it occurred, then maybe my tooth wouldn't have died.

I have been dealing with an awful dentist who eventually lost his license. During COVID I broke a tooth. My cousin recommended Summit Dental and they got me in as soon as they could. EVERY trip there (and there have been a few to fix the last dentist's awful work) has been "as pleasant as a dentist" can be. The office is very clean and the staff are all amazing!
