She is a 1997 graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. This school is consistently ranked as one of the top dental schools in the country. Dr. Ok has dedicated her professional career to providing you with the best that dentistry has to offer. She is continually educating her staff & herself on the latest dental techniques & approaches to provide you with state-of-the-art, comfortable & personalized dental care.
Dr. Welfel is a cum laude graduate of the College of New Jersey & a graduate of Temple Universitys Kornberg School of Dental Medicine in Philadelphia. She is a member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the New Jersey Dental Association & the Bergen County Dental Association. Dr. Welfel is fluent in Spanish & French. Dr. Welfel focuses on treating children & adults & believes that excellence in patient care can only come through commitment to education & clinical excellence. Her training, education & skills show a wide breadth of knowledge & ability. That way she can provide the highest quality of care to you.
Dr. Naqvi is a Summa Cum Laude graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in Philadelphia. While in dental school, Dr. Naqvi was inducted into the Matthew Cryer Honors Society and received Honors in Community Oral Health and an Achievement Award in Pharmacology and Therapeutics. After dental school, Dr. Naqvi went on to advance her training at Hackensack University Medical Center, where she enhanced her skills in all phases of dentistry, including endodontics, surgical extractions, implant dentistry, and cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Naqvi strives to achieve a healthy and beautiful smile for every patient by focusing on patient needs, delivering clinical excellence, and providing comprehensive dental care. Dr. Naqvi promotes a safe and relaxing dental environment for all her patients through open communication and the latest technologies. She is a member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the New Jersey Dental Association.
Dhruti (Also known as Dee) has recently joined the Summit Dentist family. She graduated from Dental College, India with honors (2013). Later she started practicing Dentistry in India. After migrating to America, she began working for a Dentist as a Front Office Associate in New Jersey. Later, she was promoted to the Office Manager position. She currently holds the title of Insurance and Claims Coordinator at our office. In her management career, she has 12+ years of experience, and is well acquainted with all the aspects of dentistry. Her favorite thing is interacting with new people and making them smile. Dhruti is very passionate about customer satisfaction. She walks with confidence in her life and enjoys mentoring and coaching others in all areas of the dental office. In her free time she enjoys learning how to cook new cuisines, being social and travelling. She is very positive and outgoing like the rest of our Summit Dentist Team!
Good dental hygiene is the foundation of a healthy mouth, just as a caring & gentle hygienist is the foundation of a great dental office. Kavita received her bachelors degree in biology from Montclair State University & graduated from the University of Medicine & Dentistry New Jersey Dental Hygiene Program. She has been in the dental field for 13 years & were lucky to have her on our team. Her philosophy always puts her patients first. Her dedication to ensure a complete understanding of how important good dental hygiene is to a healthy body is what makes her such an important part of our dental office.

We have been going here for over 3 years, Dr. Ok and Dr. Wellfell are both lovely. But the receptionists have been extremely rude and difficult leaving us with hundreds of dollars of bills after saying our services were covered. I was to see a "Dr. Gonzalez" for a cleaning today. When I called my insurance, they had no record of this person working there. When I arrived, the said she's not yet in the system and won't be for 30 days so I just have to trust them that it's covered. Since we have had several billing issues, I don't trust them and left. We won't be going back. I really hope they can get new receptionists who are respectful to patients.

Amazing experience! Isabela is awesome, is always kind, and answers all my questions. Dr. Ok is very knowledgeable and her skills are great. If you're looking for a clean, nice, and professional dentist office, you've found your place!

I switched over to Summit dentist a few years ago and couldn't be happier. I've had issues breaking teeth due to grinding and was constantly back and forth to my other dentist getting the same work redone due to failure. Dr Ok was able to finally fix the issues that my other dentist couldn't. The staff is friendly and professional and have always done whatever was necessary to fit me into the schedule. Im very happy I found them and highly recommend Summit Dentist to anyone wanting top notch service! Thank you Dr Ok

Such a great experience. Kavita is so gentle and informative about my gum health. Dr. Maria fixed my cavities and I had no pain.. Dr. Maria and her assistant To made me very comfortable . I am not afraid of the dentist anymore. Thank you Summit Dentist.

I have not had work done yet, so can't speak to that aspect. But, I called them up today and said I had an infection. The team there was so genuinely concerned for me. They made me an appt for the same day and just continued to show care for me when I showed up. I was so touched by how all the staff there treated me. That goes a LONG way for me.

I have never had such a pleasant experience at this dental office!! From the moment I walked in I was treated so kindly. Front desk was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The office atmosphere was clean and neat. Upon meeting with Dr. Ok her demeanor was very professional. All of her high tech equipment was quite impressive. She took the time to explain to me exactly what she was doing. (along with a few chuckles along the way) and I never once was nervous (as I typically am). While doing my cleaning she also asked if I was ok, and I surely was! Gentle, kind, professional an all around GREAT dentist...If you are thinking about it just call, Believe me you will not be disappointed!!!

Place is very well organized and up to date on technology. Booking appointment, providing patient information and insurance, and communication was very simple and efficient. Would definitely recommend the switch if in network. Office workers were also very helpful with answering insurance information.

I was referred by a family member to see Dr.Ok, I called to make an appointment for an emergency crown that my old dentist handled poorly. They not only knew exactly who my family was but took me as soon as possible so I wasn't in discomfort for long. The entire staff, from the front desk to the hygienists were all extremely helpful in making the entire process as painless as dental work can be. I would 100% recommend this practice to anyone in need of a new dentist.

I had a pretty amazing experience at the Summit Dentist today. The service was phenomenal and dealt with minimal wait time. Dr. Ok was great as per usual, but the specific shoutouts I'd like to give are to Kavita and Isabella. Their hospitality was incredible - I felt like I was exiting a second hope when I left after my appointment. Thanks to them, my teeth feel stronger than ever. I will certainly recommend this location to all of my friends, and I hope both Kavita and Bella receive the raises they deserve.

Best dentist around. We have been going to Dr. Ok for over 15 years. My kids are now also patients after trying other places. The entire staff makes you feel at home and comfortable even under stressful situations. I wouldn't trust my kids with anyone else.
