Dr. Wheeler is our Rohnert Park TMD, Orthodontic, Implant, and Cosmetic dentist! Creating your beautiful smile everyday! Her dedication and outstanding dentistry has served Sonoma County for the past 18 years.
She was born and raised in South Korea. As you may not know, her career began in the medical field. In 1990, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree and persued her dreams to become a leader. Dr. Wheeler moved to the United States and continued her education. She graduated from the Pacific Union College in Napa County. After a sudden change in her career, she decided to become a dentist. In 2002, she achieved her D.D.S. from Loma Linda School of Dentistry.
Dr. Wheeler lives in the beautiful hills of Petaluma with her family. She spends most of her time with her husband, Dan, and their two beautiful sons: Todd and Alex. The Wheeler family love the outdoors! You may see them snowboarding during the winter, and scuba diving in the summer. Dr. Wheelers favorite sports to watch are basketball and soccer.
Liz is our insurance guru of the practice! She has lived in Sonoma County for 12 years. Born and raised in Fort Bragg, Ca. Shes a graduate of SRJC and has over 10 years of private practice experience. In addition, she attends continuing education courses annually with Dr. Wheeler. Her dedication is providing advanced insurance and financial information. She insists the best part of dentistry is creating a healthy, beautiful, bright smile.
Tais is our charming hygienist! She was born and raised in Brazil and moved to Santa Rosa 17 years ago. Tais earned her Dental Hygienist degree from Santa Rosa Junior College in 2015. She originally began her dental career in 2011 where she discovered her passion to pursue excellence. As a professional, her focus is to ensure her patients achieve optimal oral health, and develop long lasting relationships.

Wonderful caring treatment for my 95-year old father-in-law whose teeth are in terrible condition. Their advice on treatment was clearly based on what is best for him instead of on what would cost us more.

Easily 5 stars. Wonderful care. Dr Wheeler's knowledge covers so many more than the usual dental issues and extends, just for example, to sleep issues and jaw pain. So why have I only given three stars? Because Dr Wheeler's office does not accept both types of insurance available to me. Although they could sign up to accept my secondary insurance, they told me they choose not to do so. This forces me to go to a different dentist, to get the work done that my primary insurance doesn't cover, once it maxed out, and rather than pay $$$$$ out of pocket, I'll have to shop for a new dentist. This was Summit's choice, not considering their patient's insurance needs, so for that I have to take off two stars.

I had been going to the same dentist for 20+ years before switching to Dr Wheeler (referred by family). On my first visit, I ended up almost passing out during my x-rays. The staff and Dr Wheeler made me feel very safe and comfortable. I actually just saw on Summit Dentistry's website that Dr Wheeler had previously gotten her Nursing degree and it totally makes sense- I felt like I was in great hands. When I returned for my next appointment, Dr Wheeler did her exam and talked to me about different options/treatments for a variety of things-- even answering questions I had about my young kids. She didn't make me feel rushed which I appreciated- She even pulled up Amazon to show me helpful products for myself and my kids! The following week, I had my old fillings removed/replaced and the teamwork between her and the staff seemed fantastic- they were finished so fast and I wasn't sore/in pain so YAY. So happy to have found a great dentist close to us, as we were previously driving to SF!! Thanks!!!

I have a very small mouth, so whenever I went to see a dentist it was always hard on them and also on me. At Summit Dental, I had nothing but a pleasant experience. New patient check-in process went by super fast and the staff are extremely friendly. I highly recommend going to this dentistry!

Don't appreciate when our schedule gets changed on a whim and when we run late to the new appointment that the receptionist with attitude says "so your gonna be late?" Understand schedules are involved but we had to accept this date and time. Our original time would have had no complications.

Summit dental is the best Dental Office. They have an awesome customer service team who always great you with great smile and make your visit very valuable. They call you to remind you of your appointment and still see you if you are a little late. I have been a customer with the office for close to two years. Dr. Wheeler is an awesome dentist and super star who spends time with you and explain things in an easy and respectful manner. Cleaning is a journey that is full of fun. Definitely my best dental experience. I strongly recommend Summit Dental Office to everyone who is looking for quality work in cleaning and TMJ. This is one of the best offices I have been in my life.
