Dr. Gregory Calloway has returned home to Lees Summit to serve his local community with the special skills and care that he has developed over his dental career. He is a prestigious Dawson Scholar, and does all dental implants related procedures such as bone replacement, bone grafting and complex restorative procedures. Dr. Calloway does not see dentistry as a job or even just a career; dentistry is his passion. He is constantly training and improving his knowledge in all fields of general dentistry with a special emphasis in dental implants. Not afraid to take on a challenge, at Summit Dental & Implant Clinic, Dr. Calloway delights in solving challenges that will improve the lives of his patients. Dr. Calloway wants each visit to be both comfortable and fun. Being afraid of the dentist should be a thing of the past.
Dr. Calloway offers the highest quality of dental care and he does it by listening to his patients in a way that cookie-cutter offices cant. Never again will you feel like just another number; each patient is treated like family when treated by Dr. Calloway.
He loves Lees Summit, and after graduating from Lees Summit High School, he counted the days until he had the right opportunity to return. After graduating from Lees Summit High School, he graduated from the University of Missouri Columbia, and afterwards attended dental school at the University of Missouri- Kansas City. Dr. Calloway accepted a scholarship through the United States Navy and spent 4 years in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. This took him all over the world, including a two-year tour on CVN 75, the USS Harry S. Truman, a nuclear aircraft carrier stationed out of Norfolk, Virginia. Not only did this time allow Dr. Calloway to serve the country we love, but it also afforded him invaluable extensive training in oral surgery, endodontics, and advanced restorative techniques.
As a graduate of Concorde Career College, Lexis expertise in oral health motivates her to help her patients understand the importance of home care. She is passionate about oral wellness and people, which makes Dental Hygiene a perfect fit. She loves that she gets to work in a field that makes a difference in people's lives.
In her free time, Lexis enjoys watching medical shows and reading. She also enjoys spending time with her 5-year-old son, playing Sudoku, and watching hair tutorials. She is excited to someday pay off her student loans, visit all 50 states, and learn to swim.
Becca chose to work in dentistry because she is passionate about providing quality dental care like her father did as a dentist. She loves to give personalized oral hygiene advice, custom to each patients needs and lifestyle. She also loves learning the newest information in her field to improve her care to her patients.
Sheila graduated from Penn Valley Community College and has been using her skills as a Dental Assistant to help patients feel comfortable while getting a happy healthy smile. Sheila was born in Kansas and raised in Raytown, MO. She moved to Lone Jack 5 months ago. Her passion for meeting and helping people makes dental assisting a perfect fit. She loves helping transform patients smiles.
Sheila and her husband will be celebrating 20 years married in July and have three children: Britney, Brandon, and Brooke. In her spare time, Sheila enjoys being outdoors, enjoying wine, and riding motorcycles. She loves to spend time with family and friends.
If Sheila could max out her credit card at any store it would be Nebraska Furniture. She would love to go sky diving, travel to Europe, and go scuba diving someday. Her dream vacation would be to go to Italy.
Shelly is originally from Texas and loves helping her patients fall in love with their smiles again. Her passion is for people. She loves the interactions with her patients every day and seeing the internal and external transformation happen when people come in not smiling and leave with the biggest smiles after treatment.
If Shelly could max out a credit card at any store it would be at Hobby Lobby. Her strangest talents include being able to touch her nose with her tongue and doing a donkey call. Shellys bucket list includes seeing the Pyramids in Egypt, traveling to Ireland and going skydiving. If she could go on vacation right now, it would to be to Bora Bora or Spain.
You may not know that Lisa began her career as a Dental Assistant. Lisa loves to help patients figure out how they can get the dental treatments they need. Born and raised in Missouri, Lisa graduated from Kansas City School of Dental Careers.
In her free time Lisa loves to read and go on vacation. She also enjoys spending time with her two cats Brownie and Bianca. If she could max out a credit card it would be at Nebraska Furniture Mart. Someday, she would love to go on an Alaska Cruise, go to Australia, or win the lottery.

Best dentist in KC, hands down. Had to get a filling - it was done in like 15 minutes and had zero pain or discomfort. Dr. Calloway is skilled, understands his patients' needs and is clear about what he recommends. He and his staff provide great education - I feel like I'm taking better care of my teeth than ever. Highly recommend.

I gave them 2 stars because they were nice as was Dr. Calloway. However!!!!!, I would never refer this Dental Office to anyone. I went in telling Dr Calloway that I needed a new lifelong Dentist and all the the issues I was facing. The only thing he cared about was giving me Implants!!! He didn't want to be my Dentist, he only wanted my money. They sent emails, a few, telling me I need Implants, I deserve them, and like I could afford them so go ahead and pay $800++ a month for the next 7yrs. Really???... My honest opinion is you, Dr C, are out for every penny you can get!! Nothing else matters! If it did then YOU WOULD BE MY DENTIST, Right?.. And it isn't like you weren't going to make money off of me already. As a Dentist you meet the patients wants &/or needs. You go over concerns the patient has, as well as what the Dentist's concerns are for you, once the initial exam is over. You go over prices to see what the patient can afford so they know what to expect. You just handed me a pamphlet & listened to me as I told you everything I needed & what had me worried. - A NEW LIFELONG DENTIST! But, you didn't care about that did you?.. My Tip-- if you don't have LOTS of money then Do Not Even Think About Going To See This Dentist, because that's all he cares about!!!! THIS REVIEW IS NOTHING BUT TRUTH!!! (I wasn't wanting to waste my time on BS,,, just like you don't!!) Your Patient Practices Need A Lot of Work & Help. I'm so glad I didn't use you.

I recently started going to Dr. Calloway about 6 months ago because I was needing a lot of work done. So far, his office has been extremely accommodating, given the circumstances we have all been living with for 2 years now. Starting off, as soon as I walk through the door, I am always greeted with a smile by the 2 lovely receptionist. Lexis was my hygienist and she was so good at my cleaning, I almost fell asleep in the chair! The work Dr. Calloway has done so far is the best dental work I have had for a very long time. I have been to other practices where they try to push products and procedures and I have never had that pressure here. Dr. Calloway and his team will give you a suggestion if one is needed or asked for and are always professionals to the the definition. I look forward to continuing to go here but hopefully not too many times. ; )

This was my first filling i've had done in 4 years. My last dentist did not get me completely numb, and I was in significant pain from my most previous filling. Dr. Calloway and his team made sure I was comfortable and I didn't feel a pinch! They even corrected some issues with my chart and filled an extra cavity they had found. Would definitely recommend this practice for people who are anxious about dental work.

Cant recommend highly enough! Friendly staff Great work and care ! Im someone who has been terrified of going to the dentist all my life... such fear and negligence brought on some serious dental problems. Dr Calloway put me at ease and took great care of me. Im no longer nervous to go in and get work done or cleanings. I feel like their most important patient every time I'm there and that every thing is explained to me in a way I can easily understand and set me at ease. Thank you Dr Calloway and staff for giving me a better life!

Love Dr. Calloway!!! My kids went to him many years ago when he was in dental college and then he moved away. He came back and bought our long time family dentist's business, so we got him back!!! He's Honest and isn't just looking for something to FIND you might need!!! Totally trust him and am so happy he ended up in Lee's Summit with a great location (right next to Summit Grill and Lakewood). I am a BABY and always want to be put to sleep for everything, but he removed a tooth in his office while I was awake and I had absolutely no problem!!!! Highly recommend!!!

Dr Calloway and his staff actually made going to the dentist enjoyable. From the moment I walked in, they were friendly and professional. Dr Calloway and his staff are very passionate and knowledgeable and never made me feel silly for any question I might have had. My experience at Dr. Calloway far exceeded any other dental experience I've had. I highly recommend Dr. Calloway

My first time coming here was an emergency visit on the weekend. He came in without hesitation and was more than willingly to help. His family came with him and they were all nice too. He fixed my issue pretty quick and continued with a follow up appointment a month later. The environment is very friendly and welcoming. They also play great music here!

Dr. Calloway and his staff are as good as you will find anywhere. I was pleased in every category. The entire staff made me feel very welcome. I know that they truly care and want the best for me. The office had very pleasent and peaceful atmosphere with the most modern dental technology available. I have known Dr. Calloway for a long time and I have a great deal of respect for him. I have been to several dentist over the years and I choose to drive nearly an hour away just for Dr. Calloway.
