I grew up in northwest Iowa and after high school, went to Minnesota State University-Mankato graduating in 1985 with a degree in dental hygiene. I then made my way from the plains to the Colorado mountains where I have worked in both periodontal and general dentistry practices in Colorado Springs and Woodland Park.
Knowing that many people do not have dental insurance, I opened Summit Dental Hygiene (an alternative dental hygiene practice) in 1996 in Woodland Park to provide patients with a convenient, stress-free setting where they can receive cost-eective dental hygiene preventive care. I enjoy working with all age groups-children to seniors!
Im originally from a small farming community in Missouri and moved to Colorado in 1997 to be closer to my sister and her family. In 2005, I graduated from Pueblo Community College with a degree in Dental Hygiene and was awarded The Certificate of Merit for Outstanding Contribution in the Development of Special Projects for Persons with Disabilities.

My first visit was a good one. Lisa is very thorough and didn't rush the job. The cost was very reasonable, given that I had not had my teeth cleaned in 2 years because of Covid and the retirement of my old dentist. If my experience was representative, I would definitely recommend Summit.

Lisa is my Dental Hygienist for 15 years. She is always doing a great job . I would recommend anybody who is looking for a good and great service. She takes her time to go through every single tooth.

Best cleaning with Lelah that I could ask for! I've been in dentistry since 98' and I have had a lot of different hygienist clean my teeth. Hands down this was the best cleaning I've ever had.

I literally just left there 20 minutes ago for my first-time cleaning at Summit Dental Hygiene. Service was excellent. I'm extremely pleased with every aspect of my visit. Lisa was wonderful and extremely thorough. I paid $80 for what usually costs more. Already booked my next appointment and got my wife scheduled in a few weeks. Save your money and go to Summit Dental Hygiene!
